Anyone on their 2nd Android?
And having problems with market?
Transferred the account over from the first?
I have had a G1 for a over a year, and now have a Desire.
I am having problems with the market on the desire if I use my normal gmail account that I was using on my g1, but not if I use a new test one.
The problems are slow to load the install details page, and persistent "installing" test in the Downloads page long after it has been installed and used. only a reboot clears the "installing" list.
Any help appropriated.

can you receive the ota over wifi?
I have an issue with connecting with google talk, the app works but its the device syncing with google that causes a system fc. It comes after you select your account and it prompts you to allow google to access google voice credentials. has anybody ran into this issue?
Be helpful if you provide info about what you have done with your device rather than just asking a question like google talk issues like that.
According to other postings you have, made you are not using a stock system. So what are you using now? that could have a direct bearing on your possible problem.
It is a Non rooted stock phone

since updating to 2.10.405.2 stock firmware the friend stream widget hangs showing updating on the bottom bar. some times it show new posts other time it does not , seems only to be when manually updating / refreshing.
resting the phone / force closing the widget or removing it and re adding, when it reloads it show all posts and time when updated.
I have tried stopping the services and clearing the data/cash without success.
does anyone has any suggestions?
when this happened to me it was actually a problem with facebook/twitter
if you have the actual apps you might want to check if you've entered the right usernames/passwords etc
if it was working when you first installed the system then a hard reset would fix the problem, meaning either your information is incorrect or even when you reset you re-created the problem.
thanks. i can log in to facebook and twitter no problems and go in to the friend stream app, its only a problem with the widget.
Since i've started my adventure with Desire I have problem with Friendstream widget. It updates itself when it wants and never when I want it. Sometimes it is stuck for 2 days.

random fix, i installed the Facebook app from the market place and now its working, i was using the stock app that was installed by default
Hi guys, I have the latest version of OTA 2.2 for HTC Desire. My problem is the fact that my friendstream does not update and sync up its latest news unless I clear its cache, log off and re-add friendstream to the homescreen again. It does this constantly and does not sync up by itself anymore. Does anyone know the solution to this problem? It is extremely frustrating
EDIT: It is regarding the Facebook syncing
i have exactly the same problem - can get updates via the facebook app but friendstream refuses to update ...

confirmed - i've just deleted a whole load of apps and it updates again.
it's pretty sad that i constantly have to keep removing apps to keep my phone working. very, very annoying ...
Hi,is anyone having issues viewing the "my apps" or "my downloads" section of Google market place?Cos I keep getting "Server error,retry or cancel to return to previous" page.I hope I'm not the only one having this problem.

Go into Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All (tabbed) > Market > Clear data
see if that will help...
Same thing here on my Desire & four other family members android phones, it doesn't happen all the time, strangely it allways happens when i do a search for certain things, eg: moto gp, very strange.

I'm also experiencing problems with the new market: Sometimes when I tap on install it only downloads the App but doesn't install it. I have to repeat the download two or three times to have the app installed correctly.
The same obviously happens with updates, especially if there is more than one App to update.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Or, even better, does anyone have a solution for this?

Hi there XDA, yet another question... I am running a custom Rom and basically I installed Facebook from the market everything was working until about half an hour ago, since then when I log in, it will say loading, then come up with a message saying I need to re-login, then after I login it will do it again after 5 seconds, anything to help? Thanks.

Try removing the account then adding it again (Settings > Accounts and Sync) or you can uninstall and reinstall the app
