For some reason, when I select the "New" tab on the Messaging screen, it takes me to a screen where I'm asked to select text message, my email accounts, or SMS/MMS. When I select "Text message", it takes me to a listing of all my text messages, but when I select "New", it just hangs up with "Text messages" replacing the "Start" logo on the top left corner. Neither new nor "reply" to any of the messages work. I've performed multiple soft resets. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi.
Does anyone know how to add or remove items in the menu which appears when you tap and hold on a persons name? I have items on there which are not used by me. And since I installed TomTom the "send text message" option has gone.

Strange - suddenly after playing around with some themes teh Mailprview (the nice envelope ...) only shows up the sender and teh Subject, after this only a "Press here to open Message" is shown ...
Does anybody know where I can revert this to show the whole message (or the biggest Part of it ...?
This message comes only when you recieve html mail, meeting invitations.
If you get an regular email you will be able to see it.

THX - but these mails are no HTML's - they are plain out of our Lotus Notes system. So it's strange after all ....
With 6.1 when I selected "people" from the FLO3d "toolbar" and then picked a contact there was an action for "send message". That doesn't show up now. There is an icon next to "call mobile" that opens a text window and there is a "send IM" action. Is there a way to get the "send message" action back?
Please tell me someone else has had this.
If I compose a text message, then click on the recipient bar, and select a group, all of whom have telephone numbers, I send the text and the delivery report tells me their email boxes recieved it. I was like WTF?!
However, if I go to People, then groups, select the group, select group action, select "Send group message", then it will send as a text (SMS) message.
Obviously one way is quicker and one way is longer.
Anyone else had this?
When I compose a text message and start typing on the recipient, it's showing me email address etc, how can I turn that off and just show their phone numbers? Thanks.
One thing you might try. Go into your contacts app. Tap the 3 dots in the top right and at the bottom of the pop up, select "Contacts settings". The option of "Only contacts with phone numbers" should now be visible. Put a check in the box and see if this helps.

Click to collapse
I did that but it's still showing up the other contacts when I compose a new text message.
