As you can tell I am a newbiew, I need some help locating the generic s621 rom from HTC. I am currently running the Rogers Rom with WM6 installed. Most of the roms I see on this forum are for the s620.
Can anyone please post some links for the s621 factory roms.

I flashed Rogers after first flashing WM 6.0 from TMO on my S620.
then I flashed HTC then kavana, then about 3 from rickwyatt.
Only problem I had with any was when I went from Rogers to HTC wouldnt work and had to go back to TMO rom then flash. With the cooked roms no problems

As far as the differences you really need to know...there aren't any major ones. They basically have the same functions. There are minute differences between the two. If you're really interested in the specs, just visit the HTC website and look at the specifications between the two phones.
Just tried to flash my S620 with the Rogers S621, no luck.
Its because the rogers ROM is an Official ROM and does not work with unbranded Rogers Excaliburs.

They are both HTC Excaliburs. As per above posts, there a couple of minor aesthetic differences.
You need to unlock the phone before you can apply different ROMS.

How can i upgrade ROM -1.37.720.2 Radio Version1.00.25.03 protocol version 52.26a.25.09g To New ROM 1.93 ? is there Anyway to get AIRTEL SOFTWARE OUT ! I want HTC ONLY ! I try getting the ROM upgrade from HTC.com not availble for my HTC Diamond 3490 specs are the same as Diamond 3700P the only thing it doesn't have is the Camera in the front only in the back 3.2 auto focus !

or search the threads for any 2g compatible rom. flashing rom is easy but not for newbies.
i have heard radio version 1.00.25.xx unlocks CID and then u can flash any rom. first confirm then try.
Airtel lock i m not sure will go or not.

The 3490 version is a 2G Version. First you have to sim unlock, if you want to use any other network
Search this forum and you will find answers
Second If you want to upgrade a new rom to diamond 2G , flash the radio rom to 1.00.25.5
You cannot upgrade to any htc original roms which are distributed for 3700. But you can upgrade to a cooked rom. the latest official 1.93 installs but hangs on customization screen

I've a 2G diamond, so here are the steps i followed.
1st step - get your sim unlock - chepeast is pay Olipro http://hpcmonex.net/olipro/diamondunlocker.php
2nd step - put hard sspl (Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex.zip (1.92 MB, 17317 views)-> goto http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400950 and download the first one and install it
3rd step - download radio Radio v1.00.25.05 and flash it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=407956
You're done you have a unlocked phone working with 850 Mhz.
4th step (optional) - download the elite 2.0 rom and flash it. It's faster than the airtel crap.

I wanted to know which is the newest or best ROM out there for the HTC s621 right now i am usen ..RUU_Excalibur_ROGERS_WWE_1.30.631.2_4.1.13.47_02.98.90_Ship but i just dowloaded RUU_Excalibur_HTC_WWE_Brightpoint_US_1.33.422.1_4.1.13.51_03.07.90_Ship
But it wont work.. but anyhows i am looking for the newest 6.0 ROM if someone could help me here would be great, im in Canada.

What is the best radio version for the Australian Telstra NextG Network on a HTC Diamond Touch?
I have flashed my ROM with Dutty 2.9.
Am currently using radio 1.00.25.6, however I am not sure if this is the best radio version. Also, I heard a rumour that the 1.00.25.6 version that exists on the Telstra branded handsets have been customised for the NextG Network?
