what is the right size for backgrounds for Android on the Kaiser? Going to create some new ones, I hope.
640x480 seems to be the standard size, at least thats the size I use for my wallpapers

I found some nice BBerry Icons but they show up too small on the G1 normally and when I attempt to enlarge, I run into pixel issues.
Can anyone enlarge these icons to look normal on G1?

Are you trying to make a theme out of this? Or changing an icon? It probably doesn't look right because of the image format... I'm not sure.
Maybe you should send this to a theme developer. The only problem is that some of these Blackberry images are too big for Android (like the signal strength, the menu icons, etc).
If I enlarge these images, they will look blurred. It would be great to get the original graphics in vector format so I can scale them perfectly.
It seems like the Blackberry UI graphics were made for readability and looks, especially since the BBs are getting popular.
It would be cool to see a perfectly crafted theme that changes every UI element of Android, but still looks elegant and balanced all around, like the Android 1.5 UI.
This is a pretty good set of images. I'll see what I can do.

Yeah, the SPL got me (because of my own error though). I'm actually on my 5th, the last one wouldn't let me flash a 1.5 or higher ROM. Lol.
But when I replaced the icons, they were extremely small compared to the android icons. I used the icons from the old deep black theme from RC33 I believe and wanted to make all my icons BBerry ones.
It would be great to have a BBerry theme though, I was just gonna use a Custom Hero theme with BBerry Icons (actually looks pretty hot).
Thanks for the interest though, hopefully someone can make something happen with these.
someone should make a theme with these icons!

And for the G1's, T-Mobile customer service is great (and my Frat brother works for them) so it's all good. Lol.

73 x 73, but they dont show up as such. These didn't come from Plazmic, but I saw those too.

Which ones are you trying to enlarge? From the looks of it, you need to be
making them smaller
Most of these are 80x80? this should be no prob and yes I will upload for all of XDA to enjoy You wan't 48x48 right?
I usually use 64x64 but the default is 48x48.
And if you actually try to use the icons, they show up smaller than the standard sized icons... I know the pics say the icons are larger, maybe they get shrunk too far with resizing.

I have been building custom BB themes for a long time, and have more icons in all sizes than you can possibly imagine if you are interested. I also have a good deal of experience re-sizing them- chris aka riffman [email protected]
I'm not that really that too Techy when it comes to this handheld devices - Flashing a Rom is one of the things i've really afraid of....so i basically I end up on searching a cab programs that is available here in XDA... and i just want to share this things on what i did on HTC Blackstone...
My totally a fanatic of the dark knight movie, so I created theme for this one and also im really looking for a good drop down menu for htc Blackstone which out of desperation... i did something, which is totally clever Drop Down Menu

Are you into creating animated gif as well? I like to have matching startup and shutdown animation for my TP2 in wvga format, same as Blackstone If you could make some with maybe matching wallpapers for TF3D and S2U2 and some TF3D tab icons perhaps that would be brilliant.

could you make a sample screen shot of your device, use the same screen shot program that i use "shake and save" convert it into .png this help me to understand what's going on your device hence i don't have TP2 (yet) he he he (i really like this phone very much) both landscape and portrait mode....
next is what kind of theme do you ask for me to create? i will make a uniform theme to your tabs, wallpaper, S2US and shutdown animation gif...

nyaahh its just a mockery... im using changing operator text... so i've really don't know what to put there, some people put their own names or the name of their device itself....ROFL mine is RAM Temperature something to just to laugh on or to show it your friends on how cool device was, that theirs actually a existing temperature of RAM there he he he, its just a joke...

using shake and save, make a screen shot all your program tabs and operations on going on there, which btw may i ask you the windows 3.5 that you were telling me is the vertical sliding navigation with the hexagon shape icon on their start up? right? does the hexagon shape can be customize?; say it can reduce its transparency and make it more visible, and it recalls an image, just like mine it recalls my today's image background, so we could really make some fun out it...
make a screen and post it here let me see what i can do?

A TP2 is very much like a Blackstone with a slide-out keyboard. At moment I'm using the wallpaper with the flames that came in the default set. For S2U2, home screen, all TF3D tabs and XDAShutdown. My startup ani is the Windows 7 one that's floating around.
What I'm thinkinhg of though is Gotham city as a background where it's almost dark, to give the screens some depth viewed from let's say 6th floor? The darkness is for contrast with the fonts and icond from TF3D. Maybe it can be aranged that the weather tab isn't too much interfering with the picture. For startup ani the same picture would be the end slide and it might be starting complete black and then lightens up a bit, some light go on in some of the buildings. Can you see the picture in your mind? The shut down ani might be same but the other way around.
Splash screens? I think frames that give you a close up from a part of Gotham or some stills from the last movie.
Problem is I can sketch it maybe on paper, but not on a computer. And in words, well let's see what you think off it.

Does anyone have or know how to get the default slide show wallpapers that I think come with sense (the girl in the white dress, the dog, various sceneries, two other ones with girls in glasses)? These are the only ones I can remember so far, and I'm pretty sure there are more. I like some of the wallpapers and would like to include them into a slideshow with other images, but I'm not able to find these images.

If youre as ocd as me than you all spend an unnecessary amount of time looking for the perfect wallpaper in the exact or slightly bigger resolution
Finding these wallpapers is difficult. Theres a plethora of sites but only one (wallbase) organize it by colour instead of category
When i fancy my phone up ill match everything to a coloured theme. So i ask.
Does anyone know where to get wallpapers in our exact resolution that is organized by colour?
If not can you at least post some white wallpapers

So I've got an awesome theme design in mind, and i need to create a wallpaper design that lines up with the elements of my theme (all the Widgets etc).. For example, the wallpaper having a sidebar, or segments for the Widgets and whatnot to sit inside of.. stuff like that..
Anyhow, I'm gonna give it a shot, but im not super pro with Photoshop. So to save some time, i was going to try to just find a wallpaper that i can work with. So here's my question:
- Where can I find wallpapers that have these types of "layout" style of designs, that i can use for creating a theme with?
Been searching everywhere but can't seem to figure out how to word it correctly :/

Google "Icon Shelf Wallpaper for Android/IOS".. It's rather simple to make those wallpapers from any image actually, so if you'd prefer your own custom image, you could google "how to make wallpapers with icon shelves for android/ios". ^^

I usually just use a bitmap on a bottom layer, because you can adjust whatever image you bring in, allowing you to use whatever image you want as a background/starting point.
