Hi sasan mate
Well i have couple of phones for unlock. imei-check is a grate solution, but i prefer xda-developers free solution cos i have more than 2 of them phones to unlock. in return im looking forward to make more donations to xda-developers.

Currently there are only two ways to have an artemis unlocked; If you don't want to wait, then pay. If you don't want to pay, then wait.

Another way ... I have just called today to T-Mobile UK and it`s will cost 15£ to get unlock code from them, BUT ... its will takes till 2 !!! weeks ...

Is this for unlocking the phone? Because I have already unlocked my phone and I can use it in other operators than orange.
I am looking to debrand it. That is to flash the original toshiba rom which I think is not available yet (I guess it will be out with windows mobile 6.5)

If you wait until the 6.5 rom comes out in Nov/Dec time, then people will be able to strip it down and make custom roms. hope thats of some help.

The WM 6.5 rom will be out in toshiba website I guess by 12 of Oct. but not sure.
In case I have the rom, how do I customize it?
E.g. I want to remove annoying orange applications etc.

He he yer there are the leaked ones kicking about, I was just going from the Toshiba site.
I havent seen any custom Rom's for the TG01 but they will be out there soon just keep checking the forums (not just XDA-DEV)

[Q] Rooting Verizon HTC One M9??

First of all, I just recently switched from IOS to Android so I don't know a lot of the correct terminology or parts of rooting yet. But, as I've searched around it seems there is no way to root the Verizon model of the htc one m9. All I want to do is be able to root my phone and get cyanogen mod 12. Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

As of this moment, the only way is thru the use of a Java Card. There's a thread in this forum devoted to that, where you can get with one of the members that has a card and ship your phone to them for the procedure. Other than that, just waiting for beaups and jcase to get their method safe and available for public release. There's also a discussion on that.

It's called Sunshine...at least it was for the M8. And when it is released these forums will light up like a Christmas tree. You won't miss it

You can also make an attempt at finding someone close to you who would be willing to meet, the procedure is quick and painless from what I hear and it will unlock your phone, it is called "S-Off" in the HTC world and allows you to unlock your bootloader to make the possibilities endless, giving the ability to flash custom ROM's and custom kernels. It is most definitely worth it.. Here is the thread for Java card

Please don't look on Craigslist. If you need root that bad, I know someone that can s-off your device with a Java card. Shipping costs both ways will be your responsibility though.

Not every but alot of them unfortunately.

I have never had a bad thing happen to me through Craigslist. Actually quite the opposite. I got deals I couldn't find anywhere else and I met people that were absolutely awesome! Actually the roommates I live with, I found through Craigslist and the job I currently have is because of Craigslist.

Of course 99% of the time you'll be fine but that other 1% will land you in a body bag. There have been a couple Craigslist transactions turned homicides on California in the past few years. If and when I do buy or sell something on Craigslist, I always meet in a very busy public place and bring someone with me. Can't be too careful these days sad to say.

Simple root on this phone won't really be of much use to the regular user with the way write protection is on this device. The real deal will only arrive when s-off and unlocked bootloader happens.

Can you send me info on this? I have been holding off on the M9 since there's no root. If I can get S-Off for just the shipping costs (cheaper than Sunshine when it becomes available), I'd pick up an M9 ASAP.

Would you work for free? No.... It's common courtesy to tip the person who bought a several hundred dollar Java card for their time and effort.

I could have sworn I read that the Sunshine would work on the Verizon M9, but since there is no root, it doesn't get past the initial part of the Sunshine process... I very likely am mistaken though since all other variants were unlockable on HTCdev.

I just got this response from them about Huawei
bootloader unlock codes:
"Hello: You need to wait some days till we finish database development:
Then you can order"
I recommend requesting a refund until they get this sorted out. I was lucky to get a code from them before this issue.

I've also been waiting for my code (or payment link) for over 2 weeks. I wrote a message about WhatsApp yesterday and I was told that they will be ready soon...
I hope for the best... I finally want a working operating system on my mobile [emoji20] (by replacing the original)

since there is no other sources for unlock codes and you guys really want it I suggest wait some more time.. you've been waiting for weeks anyways and don't ask for refund. Else when they are back to business and codes are ready then you decide to buy again, price would have gone up twice or even more.
