Hi,
unfortunately I don't have my desire yet (thanks to the shipping delays), but as there are people out there who are already playing around:
Does anybody of you have tried to use a Stereo BT Headset (for example the SonyEricsson MBW600) with the Desire?
Especially for listening to music.
I would like to know, if the action buttons (like play/pause, next/back) are working.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, i'm lookink for a good quality headset with microphone and answer button (stereo or not) for my Orange SPV M600.
Do you know if there are other brands compatible with : Nokia, Motorola...
Thanx, Laurent.
Jabra BT 620s Stereo Headset, together with the last pocket player.
Take a view of these not expensive Headset and enjoy the life without cables.
I have the motorola stéréo headset and sound quality is good, and the micro for communication is really great.
I still have to test it with pocket player tho. With WMP no problem, I can even resume music after a call by pressing the play button
Motorola?
Hallo Cedrick! You didn´t tell us which Motorola headset you´r using?
Hi,
First excuse me for my English
I just purchased Sony Bluetooth headset DR-BT20NX. Using it I can listen music from my HTC P3300. I can start, stop, pause music using Windows Media Player on P3300 and buttons on BT20NX. Unfortunately I can't do the most important for me - to pick-up the calls. I'm listening the ring in earphones but after pressing the pick-up button (short or long press) nothing happens
Is it possible somebody with these two devices to help me?
I tried also with Sagem my411v - the same problem, and with Sony Ericsson P800 - not wotking at all. I test hands-free and head-set profiles, with and without Wirelless Stereo. I test on the same phones Plantronics 590A, Plantronics Discovery 640 and there is no problem.
Hey Guys,
I know the Cavalier supports A2DP and I have a stereo headset to listen to music, but sometimes I wanna listen to music using my regular Mono bluetooth headset.
Anyone been able to get their cavalier to reroute music to their mono Headset? I have tried many of the programs and hacks listed here on XDA, like BTAudio, BTaudioNav etc etc but to no success. Anyone get this going?
All you need is a (mono) BT headset supporting the profile > A2DP
Maybe yours don't support it ... not many do ...
Yes, the headset doesn't support A2DP.
I meant like did anyone find a program to allow this, there are some out there but they don't seem to work on the cavalier
Unable to listen music via Samsung Bluetooth Headset HM1100.
I have tried in Latest nightly, Stock froyo and in modded Froyo (Jokerdroid 4.2)
It seems that the A2DP function is not supported by wildfire for HM1100.
Whether anyone can confirm or can provide any application for the same would be highly grateful to me...

wildfire does support A2DP
my phone works seamlessly with Samsung SBH-650
i never tried jokerdroid, but it works very wel with cyanogenmod
i have tried it with cyanogen mod too....didnt get sucess
From what i see on samsung's website the headset you are talking about is not a stereo bluetooth headset so the chances that it will support music playback are acute.
You can check 2 things though,
1. Long press on the paired headset in bluetooth settings and check if the media option is available, if yes activate it and you can play music.
2. Pair the headset with a normal wildfire (unrooted, s-on) and try the same.
But remember,
Not all handsets play music via normal (single earpiece) bluetooth headsets so if it doesnt work wildfire is one of them..
What technical aspect makes it not to play music. Its so disappointing.....My friends Nokia 5800 plays music on the Samsung HM1100 bluetooth single piece headset...but my HTC Desire HD doesn't.

I think because many Nokia phones output audio in mono to bluetooth devices. My N9 worked with a Samsung and Motorola mono bluetooth headset but my Xperia T can only connect to these same headsets for telephone calling.
I have Plantronics Explorer 50 A2DP BT mono headset.
It have a button which can receive calls on one click, or redial on double click. And it works fine.
But it can't control music. I've tried million apps on play store, which allow to re-assign music controls like single, double, triple click for pause / play, prev etc.
But none of those apps seems to have any effect.
My phone is OnePlus One with CyanogenMod, but I have tested that Earphone with two other android smartphones of my friends, and it is not controlling music either on their devices. I am using Meridian player, but as said above, I've tested ot on two other phones with no specific player. Same on YouTube app in my phone. Also, standard wired earphones with mic button works fine for play / pause / next / prev on my phone.
Do all A2DP headsets miss that functionality?
And is there any reason no one made an app to switch music with device like this one? I mean, button sends signal to the phone anyway (f.e. redial). Is this really not possible to remapp this functionality? I really do not need to pick calls with my BT at all - it serves only for music.
Or is there something else I am doing wrong? I was googling few days with no results or similar issue. I am a bit lost.
Really, thanks for anything which will guide me to solution
No one have any knowledge which I do not possess? At least something that would guide me in any direction at all?
Please. How do this signal works? I cant find any information on the subject, nowhere
Maybe tasker could change the music, but would it work with headset like this one?
