After Kaiser, Raphael, I have now a french Rhodium unbranded (unfortunatly for hard spl with samsung chip).
++

I bought mine from CLOVE.CO.UK on May 30th .
I had it sent to a friend's address in London as I couldn't risk loosing it or getting it stuck at customs here in Istanbul.
So I flew to London just for a day to pick it up from my friend )))
It was the most expensive phone I ever bought

Couldn't you just buy out HTC for that money?

I like to be the first to own some things and there is cost for that which I am willing to pay.
I remember flying to Germany to buy the Sony Ericsson P1i on the first date it was ever released......
The funny thing I went in the morning and flew back home the same day and the German police at the passport control couldn't understand why I would fly to another country to buy a phone and return home the very same day, he tought I was upto something else

If you figure out how please add "once it hits my carrier I will own it" because the US carriers have not released it yet.

Got it two weeks ago. Prefer SPB Mobile Shell 3 over TouchFlow3D.

I'm sorry it won't allow me.
But anyway , thinking of buying and ordering the the thing are two different things. You may think of buying TP2 but but decide on a Nokia N97 for example, this could affect the outcome of the Poll When you bought it or ordered it, you could vote here
Seems like so far only 66 of us , I doubt we could make it to 100 owners..

It's the thing that most impresses people when I take out my phone and *ahem* brag a little. I bought mine about two weeks ago. Unlocked, generic ROM, unbranded HTC, roughly 800 dollars.

Good News...Badly waiting for it...Looks like the rates are cheaper than what u get in europe...Not sure what's the catch....

WOW they keep rolling them out to other countries despite that according to htc they 'cant keep up with demand' and that is just demand in the uk. i guess this is the reason for the delays ......
however it is good news for those of you who want to pick one up on contract i guess

-No we don't have phones on contract in India...all are sim unlocked.
-You can buy phone from carriers but still have to pay the unlocked price
Recently they released in germany and checked amazon and other sites...its already out of stock in Germany...so Even the phone is announced in india...only the almighty knows how long it will take to actually feel one in hand

really all sim unlocked sounds better than on contract i always import sim-free and no where usually want to sell new handset sim free unlocked and unbranded which is frustrating otherwise id probably have one in my hands already.
i guess htc must just want to get it out there as a sort of advertisement for the product, to get people stuck on never ending waiting lists lol

@v6kgang - well all i can say is that the phone was supposed to release in Nov thru vodafone not bundled or sumthin may be for the launch of 3G but as vodafone 3G is delayed till next year so i think it will be available from local dealers. Since vodafone guys have no clue i managed to get hold of the official distributor for htc devices in kolkata he is saying that the phone shud be here soon but not willing to give definate dates. but he said one thing for sure the phone is definately coming nd pretty soon. So i have my fingers crossed that the 10th dec date is proper info ...
@Noobdeagle - v6kgang is correct there are jbarely 5% of the phones which are branded but they are mostly low end basic phones.

@Noobdeagle - LOL...was thinking about the same thing...they are not able to keep the promise in europe for timely delivery...They just want to add Asian customers as well to the waiting list i guess...
@gaurav - Knew it mate...u can never trust these guys...i still remember iphone came after 2 years to india on contract and is still being sold at around 30K. If it is sold through retailers the price would be un-imaginable...should well cross the 34K mark...lets keep our fingers crossed

hey guys i got some news from mumbai and trust me its gud news i have just confirmed from Alfa stores in mumbai dat Desire Z is available with dem nd by next week the desire hd will be available tooo .. and Desire z is priced at Alfa for 29,000/- so i hope Desire HD will be priced well above 35,000/-...
so now hearing all dis im all super excited dat the time is finally near for Desire HD
will keep u updated for any more news ..

I got news that DHD will be launched after December 28. And pricing is the issue for not launching now.

I'm waiting for the mobile to get released officially , even thought the grey market price is 33k in bangalore.. Hope so the wait is worth it..

hey guys got confirmed news from source in kolkata that the phone is coming next week by 22nd or 23rd which means next week. well i think that means the price tussle between the distributors nd htc is over. THANK GOD FOR THAT .. well the price still seems to be 30k+.... but still i have my fingers crossed nd hope htc follows the schedule this time.

However when i tried it a couple days ago it would not load/re direct to Paypal.
So i choose the other option..
The company then sends you your order confirmation via email and Bank details so you can then "wire" them the monies.
I have done it this way.
I will report back once i have received my fit bag to confirm that its a safe to do it this way.

Ok, this is really taking forever... I ordered mine on January 9. Well over three weeks and I still haven't received a shipping e-mail. I e-mailed them and they told me they will ship out "somewhere at the end of next week."
That's over a month >_> I can understand 14 days of wait because it's custom made and all, but still.. This is taking way too to my liking actually..

Yeah, and I think it was phones4u that had it displayed as coming later (18th of April to be precise) - and that was when it was only just available for pre-order!

I ordered from Phones4u and it did say before I ordered that the medialink will arrive up to 28days after the phone.

Funny, I remember reading quite clearly on the DAP site that both would come together, else why would they send a follow up email to say this ain't the case no more? Guess P4U must have sent out a diff message form the start?

Phones4u told me on several occasions they would be shipped together, so I guess its bad advice all around.

Well i didnt get the htc one x, i couldnt wait cause 4 poo c's jumped me and stole my phone so i wasnt gonna let them get me down. upgraded my wildfire POS to the sensation xe (red) and also got a media server.
I was waiting for this product and found this thread searching for the release date as i was counting on azamoms you kay projected release date of today.
good luck to everyone on a speedy delivery! Im getting one myself hoping it will work on my sensation xe. maybe the 3 finger swipe to the tv wont work but at least i can utilize the built in router for a private network and the full hd capability.

In the shipping costs VAT and taxes to ship the phone out of the US are included, that's why it is so expensive

Just ordered mine last night so now I patiently wait......
