SPAM, SPAM, SPAM!!!

COULD SOMEONE PLEASE DELETE ALL OF THESE SPAM MESSAGES LIKE:
WE ARE SELLING BLA-BLA-BLA FOR SO-AND-SO. AND NO, MY KEYBOARD IS NOT ON CAPS LOCK BY ACCIDENT.

We are trying to fight spam and for that reason posted a news thread on the 13 April.
New Section - Trash - (for Spam threads)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=47274
As well as opening a trash section and a spam posting thread
Post TRASH / Spam links here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=47275
I have checked the thread and there are no requests at this moment and your post has recieved 9 hits.
I will now check the forums.

I Have checked all forums and have only found 2 posts that are dated 3 May which I have moved to the trash section.
I have used search with
"NO, MY KEYBOARD IS NOT ON"
And listing per post and found nothing that I feel needs moved.
I have checked the trash and found that the last SPAM threads that were moved were on the 29th of april.
So I am not sure why anybody needs to be shouted at.
Either some mod has beaten me to it and deleted all these threads that you seem to dislike or I need some help finding them.

Is there HTC Home Plug-In for Trinity?

Would the plug-in for other models would work on Trinity?
yes and there are numerous threads in this forum about it already
Please please please please please look before posting new questions.
Our forum is becoming less and less useable - with multiple threads for each topic of discussion.
If you look, search (the site's search feature is not great - do an advanced google search and include only posts from http://forum.xda-developers.com) you WILL find what you want.

But I think it will be less useable too, because there isn't a verified download section for each device.
You mess up your device in no time if you just try what you find.
Anyway, I searched and I found http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316107&highlight=kaiser+home
Hopefully the thread starter will do it the next time too.
I think it would have been more helpful giving a simple direct answer to the first question than wasting more space giving generic advice about search engines. I don't think any of the responses added anything to the knowledge base (just like this email I guess).
I have to say that people reapeat questions, but, I have never seen a more complicated forum to search something and things are very bad organized. The function 'search' DOES NOT WORK.

Everyone agrees with you that why Nealedsaid to use google search, like this:
http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q=+site:http://forum.xda-developers.com&hl=en&lr=&as_qdr=all
Or like it is in my signature.
Just add as a favorite or bookmark (depend on the browser )
Very simple and it works.

Off Topic Non-sense that Clutters Up Dev Threads

I just wanted to start this thread so that everyone with something not pertaining to a specific rom or development would have a place to post instead of cluttering up the Development Threads with off topic gibberish.
Please refer anyone to this post that you see fit.
This type of thread was just recently posted i believe...
This topic belongs in the "off topic section" of xda.
Probly will be moved there.

Can I delete old threads?

Is it possible to delete old threads if so how? thanks
Only moderators can delete threads.
Moved to About XDA section.
If you need a thread to be closed, you will need to contact your FSM (forum specific fomerator) and ask them to close the thread for you. As for deleting a thread, i think a moderator would rather close the thread, as someone else searching for an answer to a question might find the answer in your thread, stopping the need for that member opening a new thread to ask their question.
Exactly
I was the same problem. Thanks for your guidance.
It is a bit of a bummer as to why you cannot delete posts and threads of your own but you can see why it is necessary for that permission to only be given to a MOD.
But the REPORT button could be seen as the close button.

Best marshmallow sense rom

Nougats ram management is killing me here
You were discussing this subject here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/help/ran-management-t3653810
Now you don't respond there and yet open a new thread again ? If you dont discuss the exact issue you are experiencing how on earth can we offer any help ! And opening different threads on the same subject is against forum rules.
Thread closed. Please do not create duplicate threads or posts.
Cheers,
