Diamond ROM = Victor ROM?

Hi!
My question:
Is it possible to flash the Hard-SPL ROMs with Olinex SPL 1.40 on my T-Mobile-brandet Diamond (Victor)?

Hi,
I need to flash my o2 xda diamond in order to change its language from German to English. I have flashed it with Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex from location http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400402. But when I try to run WWE (I have tried using RUU_Diamond_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.93.707.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship and RUU_Diamond_hTC_Asia_HK_WWE_1.34.831.1_52.24.25.08_0.93.25_Ship) it gives me Update Error[262] all the time. Recovery procedure does not work in any case. I have tried reinstalling ActiveSync as well as disabling Antivirus software but to no avail. Please suggest which Hard SPL and WWE ROM should I use. Please help as I dont want to brick my device!

You can't update a Hard SPL-ed device with both mentioned updates.
Hard-SPL has an protection so you can't flash the SPL (A Hard-SPL can only be reflashed by using a Soft SPL to flash the replacing SPL).
You need to strip the shipped ROM of its IPL/SPL, or choose a custom one without IPL/SPL
Choose a custom ROM without IPL/SPL, there are many available.
But you need to check if you flashed the Signed or the Unsigned Hard SPL, then choose your ROM accordingly.

I flashed it with Unsigned Hard SPL( I am assuming that the zip file without 'signed' in its name is the unsigned one). It would be a BIG help if you could just name a few custom ROMs without IPL/SPL . Thanks a bunch.

I have successfully upgraded Olinex 1.30 to Olinex 1.40 developer edition and have flashed with SwiftBL ROM. It works like a dream! Thanks xda developers.

Read Installation Instructions section. Download one of the SPLs mentioned (OliNex Unsigned Hard-SPL Developers Edition OR jockyw2001's HardSPL 1.24) and flash your device with it following the instructions. Then download SwiftBL WWE Diamond ROM , version 6.2 is latest so better use this one. Upgrade your current German ROM with SwiftBL and voila!

OLINEX HSPL and NEW Shipped Original ROM 2.03

Hallo,
1 question please.
i had Flashed Olinex SPL 1.40 a long time ago, and i flashed many ROMs (without SPL and Radio).
Can i now flash my Diamond with the new shipped ORIGINAL HTC Rom 2.03 (inclusive SPL and Radio) or do i have to do some things before?
i.e the ROM is ORIGINAL SHIPPED HTC ROM.. untouched!

Yes you can! But put your phone in bootloader mode manually

I did hspl. I think. I three colour mode i have 1,40 olinex.
But now when i try to instal one of these officiel roms after it goes to 100% comes message image is corupted on RUU and on phone couldnt load rom try again.
But all these custom roms installing correct why I cant install these officiel roms?

You might want to update 1.4 to 1.93 HSPL and try again.

The image file is corrupted, Please check your Update Utility.

find stock 1.93 spl. install it
than reinstall 203 rom the 203 spl should install with the rom

spl 2.03 doesn't exist ...
in 2.03 package there are rom and radio
after installation 1.40 OliNex remains

Only If you install 2.03 in a diamond with original spl and rom (1.93 es.) it install spl 2.03

I arrived here bouncing...
I m trying to update my Movistar (spain) ROM 1.93.621.2 RADIO 1.00.25.05 G 52.29.25.12W (spl 1.93.0000)
but I have no idea on how to do it. I m trying to get the "last" SPL cause mine is already 1.93
But i haven t found a valid link.
Would you mind giving me the valid links to a 1.93 signed (by olinex) HardSPL or better to a 2.03 signed (by Olinex) HardSPL, and then another link or a zip file for the 2.03 ROM? Just can t find it anywhere. (no valid links anymore)
If I get well what you said here, I should:
1/ install HARD SPL 1.93 (where can I get it? is it the one from Olinex? 1.40 is not 1.93). Is my 1.93 stock SPL valid for this?
2/ get a ROM 2.03 package taht will come with ROM and RADIO (and SPL 2.03?)

So far I know, there is no signed 1.93 SPL. Different versions of SPL (signed and unsigned) can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=415191.

I use the 1.93 and have no problems at all with 1.93, 2.00 and 2.03 ROM's.
I did not test it, but there are a lot of people with 1.40 SPL using all kinds of ROM's with no problems at all.
You can use what you want, it will work OK ...

a couple of things:
- my model ID is DIAM300... will this be a problem? (I haven t found anything really clear on this in the forums)
- yesterday, using the pen, as everyday, sliding some pics, i striped? scratched the screen!!!
I noticed the pen was a bit sharp but it was too late. There s a bad scratch on the screen. Have you ever heard about this? Any feedback? It is wearing a small transparent plastic protection (shipped with the phone) but it indeed scratch my screen. As it was "normal use", "normal conditions", and the pen was not /is not damaged, I can t beleive it.
Should I worry?

i have a htc diamond here i bought here in the phils. my diamond had a rom wm6.5 i want to revert it back to stock rom or any official rom from htc i want to experienced the official rom if its a more good to a wm6.5 rom coz im having problem with the speed of wm6.5 rom
