not exactly sure, the shipment costs depends, .. it could reach to 37 euros as in my case (living in middle east).
and within the country am living in right now, there is 5% duty if i used DHL/Fedex .... so it really depends on your country's laws

To be fair that is probably counting down to when it's avalaible to customers.
So shops etc will probably get it a few days early. It's like with games, if you preorder a game from a game shop then you're almost certain to get it in the post a few days before it's actually supposed to hit the shelves.

actually the percentage should be taken from the original value of the product (excluding the shipment).
So basically yours is more like 30%

I agree with you, ... everyday i check google & youtube for the latest news and clips on the Desire, .... but everything so far is not proper, .. most of the clips just mention the specs and flip the phone 2-3 times. there isnt any proper review of any kind ..

I would go with Clove if you're buying from the UK. GPB/STG$330. I just ordered mine and had a few questions about payment, shipping etc. They were extremely helpful.
They even told me I would miss the first shipment due 29th March, but would get mine from the 2nd shipment, due 2nd April. many e-tailers wouldn't offer this sort of info up-front because delivery date for preorders can, and almost always will be, a deal-breaker.

Thank you very much! I'm buying from Italy, but I saw that Clove can also ship abroad. So I will also miss the first round...and maybe also the second...LOL. The price is more convenient that Expansys, about 40€ less...

I think the graphite model is the Urban Brown one, seeing as how graphite is pretty dark, and that only a few stores and carriers will have the silver one, but don't take my word for it.

Yay!! After the crap day I had yesterday I needed this news to bounce me back. I ordered with Clove and haven't been in touch with them yet but as I placed my order way back on 16-Feb I'm pretty confident of being in the first shipment. Come to me, my lovely!!

no mine is not showing so I have emailed them, was a little worried as the email I sent when they told me they didn't have stock was a tad rude.

Believe me they always do that, at time of HD2 I placed an order when their website was showing it in stock, but when I spoke 2 them they said we have not got it in stock, they couldn't say anything when I said WHY IS IT SHOWING IN STOCK ON UR WEBSITE THEN... I think it's their cheap business strategy 2 get orders/pre-orders...

I am in the same boat, ordered mine over the phone on sunday, told it would be shiped mon/tues, but have just phoned them again, and was told none are in stock, but they expect some in the next few days!
I dont believe that for a second, I will phone everyday, and I recon I will be told "soon".
Maybe until the official release date of 4th/7th?!

Was really hard to get sim free as two stores out of three i've tried had very limited stock (1) and wanted to sell it only on 18 months contract.
At the end got it though
My wife and I managed to persuade the carphone warehouse to send us two out on payg this morning. They initially said they were only available on contract, but she managed to persuade the guy to get two contract ones swapped over to payg (like the phones arre different anyway lol) and he sent them out. Should get them tomorrow. He apparently had to discuss it with a manager first but they will do it if you askl

Verizon is dominant in my area. I'm tired of getting less than 200 kb/s download speed, when I'm sitting in a Verizon LTE area.

I don't blame you. I am fortunate that T-mobile and At&t work pretty well in my city. Verizon is the best but, at my house the other two carriers work just as good if not better. HSPA+ is very fast in my city. This is why I don't have a issue with going with T-mobile. Sprint was the worse when I tried it.

Yeah, major city (Columbia, SC) and Sprint's 3G never exceeds 300 kb/s. 4G? Forget about it, at least until they get their LTE built, but that may not happen until 2013, and I'm not waiting until then. I may come back if they get LTE and unlimited data in my area, but it doesn't look good as far as the unlimited data goes.
I'm waiting to get the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon for a couple of reasons. One being the current double data promotion and the other being I can get a 19 percent discount through my employer, so I can get 10 gigs of data each month for like 94 bucks a month, or 4 gigs for 74 bucks a month.

I just called verizon and spoke with a rep. he did not even know when. so I asked him this "do you feel it will be out before christmas" and he told me "well I honestly cant tell you for sure because even I am unaware of when the release or pre-orders start for the nexus, but if you haven't seen any ads or much marketing for the Galaxy Nexus then it will probably won't be here until early next year, but again that is only my speculation." So even a Verizon Rep has little faith in his own company.

Article was posted online yesterday that US carriers are not getting green anytime soon.
Gold should be available to order on T-mo in the next week or two.
Remember that if you purchase it at a T-Mobile Corporate Store you won't have to screw around in case you want to return the device. If you order online, you have to ship it back (you pay for shipping) and only then will you receive a credit on your bill...in 2 billing cycles!

if you are a new jump user and put more extra money down it lowers your payment each month. However, if you're a existing jump user the payment stays the same no matter how much you put down the only thing that lowers is the amount of months you'll pay.
I just pre-order mine from Tmobile online and will get the phone on the March 30th. I did pick one day shipping tho...

Gotcha. I got mine ordered. The way you posted it made me think you were copying and pasting it from somewhere
I order my pixel xl around November 5th~8th (can't remember when exactly) and google told me it would be delivered at around December 15th-19th. Today I got an email that they've already sent it and that it coming till the 22th. I signed for the accidental protection deal cuz I'm not a careful person :S I hope it pays off.

tried to register on that site (nowinstock) and it told me that they don't accept emails from that provider....It's a gmail!??? oh well...so much for setting an alert. looking for a Quite Black 128gb XL... manual refreshed it is...
EDIT: Got it figured out. col site, never knew it existed...
Does anyone have any idea why it takes so long to restock these phones? Why are not cargo ships full of them unloading every day? I would guess some component is in short supply?
And an observation, why did google make a useless 32G model with no expansion slot? If they made a 64G and 128G model there would be a lot less problems. Of course most people would probably buy the 64G model and they would not get to sell the $100 upgrade.
I want to buy the mate 20x from england. i presently live i NYC. Will I be charged a customs fee or tax on this import? If so, how much is it or where can I find this out?

Appreciate the reply. I'll order from clove. I need to know the tax and/or custom fee badly. I tried calling US customs and theres no rep to talk to. Can you believe that?? How else is one supposed to know this???

i know the feeling man, its crazy that its so hard to get such important info, i had to actually google and see some sites how they calculate it etc . so maybe try on google and you might be lucky to atleast have an estimation to what to expect.
does clove open the box too or its factory sealed ?

Why not buy from eBay? There are reputable sellers selling it for under $600.

Hey MO11,
I tried google to calculate it but they ask for hs code and insurance cost which I dont know exactly. So I'm back to square one without knowing for sure the customs tax.
I'm sure clove wont sell you an open item. They seem 100% legit from their site and from talking to one of the owners via email. I asked them about customs also. They said they dont know but to check with US customs. Again back to square one.

On that site its too expensive. Theyre asking for $670. Ebay is cheaper but sadly my state through ebay charges a hefty sales tax.

Yes there are reputable ebay sellers. But unfortunately my state through ebay charges $52 sales tax for the phone. I wont fork over to the gov $52 when I've never been charged taxes on ebay before. Ebay shopping will be affected by these stupid taxes.
