This might be an easy fix or just no fix. But here is my problem.
When I try to get my school's Wifi network, internet explorer goes to the schools login page for the information. Fine. The problem is when I enter my username and password to use the Wifi, there is no login button on the webpage. Also, the enter button does not execute the page. So basically I can't use the wifi bc i can't enter the info!!! Is there like another way possibly to make the page go? Am I missing something or is it just a lost cause. Thanks

Hi
Finally got round to noting down a few issues that are really bugging me, and I'm sure there's someone reading that can show me what's going on:
1. Receive an MMS....I open it, then press the download button, then wait....and nothin happens?? Why??
2. I still have not been able to get onto the Internet through GPRS ...I feel this may be connected with the above. What should I do?
3. No attachments will open on my XDA2s. Why?
I know these issues must be fairly simple to some of you, but I am not as technically minded as some and have no problem in asking for help, so, help!!
thanks

At a suggestion - has your phone contract company turned on GPRS on your account??
looks to me like you GPRS service is inactive or...
the connection properties of the phone aint set right.
Good old O2 do seem quite good at setting up people with the wrong type of GPRS! Make sure U have mobile web set.
The options within your email account settings should allow you to select whether to dowload attachments. Otherwise it should just be a case of "edit-mark for download", although your current issues may be related to the above.
Attachment not synching
I deleted database pmailAttachs and it helps :

1) Are you able to add any files as attachment in email? I can't. (Update: Solved. I searched many sites and finally deleted the database pMailAttachs)

Can you tell me where is the file?
My problems is after selecting a file to attach, it prompted the error message I mentioned earlier that no files could be attached at all. The files cannot be viewed under your device's File Explorer. But if you explore your device from the PC, you'll see an additional folder called Databases where you cannot add/edit/delete. I had to download a tool called Pocket dbExplorer.

I had my phone set up for Cingular in the US and had trouble also. on the www.imate.com site, I found a download area to configure your phone GPRS to your country. For me it was Cingular USA. It worked perfectly!

Hi,
If you tried to connect with your router, do you used the same script (WPA, ...) for this? Do you entered the password for your WiFi-network? Please let us know, what you´ve done to get access via WiFi.
There was WPA-PSK encryption on my network at first. Then I removed it, connected to the network again, still gave me the same error.
I updated my rom to HTC 1.33 from WM6 and it doesn't connect to my WIFI at home anymore. It shows it as connected but when i try to use explorer it gives me the following:
Error: Cannot connect. Verify you have network coverage and try again.
Can anybody help? I'm fairly new at this whole thing, but i'm trying to learn and search but i haven't found anything that can help.

I just flashed to HTC 1.33 last night, myself. You need to configure your MMS settings and your internet settings. See if this site will work. (http://tmobileuspublic.wdsglobal.co...=phone.vm&selectManufacturerId=9&phoneId=1828) It did WONDERS for my connections.
Thanks but that didn't really help. The weird thing is my internet works, but just not explorer. I set up my gmail on the phone and it download fine. Google maps seem to work as well. Just internet explorer doesn't work. Also every time i try to use explorer my connection to my wifi network keeps cutting off.
hmm i wonder if i should flash to wm6.1 instead? I really want my explorer to work.
HTC Touch Pro & Internet Explorer

I don´t know any app that can do that, but...unless you want to crack other´s network...If you do not remember your wi-fi password, there is always the option to reset the router to default settings and re-configure it again...
Regards.
Yeah that's always an idea but my computer is fine on it as it is sorted that it is always connected. Maybe it'll come to a reset haha. What do you mean by cracking?
Thanks
search for wmwifirouter...

When you say "network @ home" does that mean your on a wifi router tied to a computer ? If so log into router home page and you should be able to find/change your password.
i have a wifi issue on my dhd, i accidentally tap the "forget" button on one of my wireless network.. can i reverse this action? i mean is there a method which i can use to discover that lost network? i tried to enter it manually, but no success.. somebody help me pls.
Go in range of your "lost" network... Select the "lost" network from WiFi list menu... Enter passcode... Profit!
sir how can i find the "lost network" theres no option like that, my phone is desire hd.. can u be more specific, tnx
You take it seriously? I mean he just made a joke.
What he meant is just retype your password. There's no way you could recover the lost password unless you wrote it somewhere else.

+1 xD
Indeed, you need to go to Wireless and Network/ WiFi settings and chose your network and re-enter your password.
Apologies for being sarcastic, but I think I was in a good mood yesterday lol.
Cheers
but the problem is i cannot locate the network anymore ... and i remember that it has no password
That indicates to me that it is not your wifi, and that you probably shouldnt have access to it.
If you still chose to connect to a wifi that isn't your's, let me remind you that it is illegal - and from that point of view i don't think we can help you...
