Wallpaper res Question
This seems like the most logical place to put this question but I can move it.
If I use a full size desktop pc wallpaper and use the built in android tool to grab a chunk of it for my screen res will it use up more resources on a daily basis because the starting image was so much larger?
Basic question is am I better off using photoshop to shrink and crop my images beforehand or is the android os way of doing things just as efficient.

Why dont u guys download the Zedge app from market. Its a free app and links to Zedge.net.
It has thousands of high quality Wallpapers, lots of Notification tones and Ringtones.
Its a cool app, i use it to find new wallpapers all the time.
You can even search and within specific categories if you want e.g Automobiles, Babes, Landscapes, Abstract etc etc.
The coloured marbles one above is on there too.
Is anyone aware of any high-res custom icon collections becoming available for the SGN? I've used the excellent Droidicon pack for a long time, but its icon sets seem to be fixed-res for 840x400 screens and so are way too small to use for the SGN's high-res screen. I've looked around the Market but haven't come up with any hits. Thanks!
I'll be watching this. I really don't like the new colorful/cartoony icons they are using in ICS. A smiley messages icon? Really? Is he waving at me? And that camera looks like it's from the 80s.

Actually this is only a mockup and as i'm don't know how to make it work, if anyone

I would like to design this theme based on android menus etc. but with way better graphics.
Also of course i'll design all the graphical parts for the theme and i'm going to make it very professional!
