which rom is better

i had a problem with my htc p3300 that was freezing all the time
i have windows mobile 6 on it now and i want to upgrade it to windows mobile 6.1 and was wondering which of the rom would you recommend to me:
this what i found so far:
1) Oop's Black v1.0 WWE CE OS 5.2.19949 ( Aku 1.2 )
2) Artemis Touch Roms WWE WM6.1(3.01)(4.0)(4.01)(4.02)
3) 4.02 Vanilla
if you have any other roms that you recommend that will be very appritiated

i've found Ooops black to be best for me. tried loads too.. gonna try the manilla 2d 1's this week and see what there like..

YuE ROMs are the best, esp 4.4. You can search and get them from this forum.

Its like saying does Chocolate milkshake taste better than banana milkshake. You have to try it to taste it.
Personally i have tried so many roms, i have had problems one way or another.
Freshly installed worked for a couple of days, then you find out it has stability issues.
Im currently using 4.02 Vanilla with no apps installed into the main device mem, but apps running of the mem card. Seems to be the stablest rom i have used.
I would say each to their own.

I've tried loads of roms as well and settled for Vanilla 4.02 without
cube, cause I find it just works better , I also use Ultimate launch
with it and it looks good,
Just waiting to try one of the Manilla roms but waiting till all the problems are ironed out

touch flo 3d on Miri wm65 xtra light

I instaled this rom on my hd and doesnt hawe touch flo 3d and i want to know how to instal touch flo3d on it but I cant find separated cab file to instal touch flo, In most rom i think that roms allready have touch flo inside bat this doesnt, can eny body post alink that I could instal manila touch flo 3d, i hope you understand my question

Only way to get manila is to flash a rom with it cooked in.

as i said i instald this rom because it is fast and has no bugs and delays, do you know any rom that isnt slow and that works fine on touch hd, i have tried couples of roms on this forum but my hd works very slow, i want "basic" rom for win 6.5 with touch flo or something like that

Don't you think that the reason for this ROM's speed is the absence of Manila ?

ok you are corect but why put then wm6.5 on touch hd becouse touch flo 3d doesnt work good, all roms for wm65 on xda for 6.5 have manila touch flo and on my phone doesnt work good, toooool slow, I dont know about youre phones but I am disapointed..... this rom that i courently have is great and fast only missing touch flo... great work on roms on xda but I dont like them because they are too slow....

If that's too slow for you then I suggest you either find a 6.1 rom or don't use manila. I use a 6.5.x rom with Leo 2.02 manila which is about as heavy a rom as you can get and I find it plenty quick enough, except for the HTC messaging client which is a problem in all manila 2.5 roms.

The reason that this rom doesn't have manila is (and if u read the thread 1st) its to help boot up Android quicker, its not designed to be used as a standalone rom.

[Q] What's the best ROM for the blackstone?

I've seen a lot of roms developed in this forum. I've now the Energy Rom NLD. But I can't overclock my Touch HD with this ROM. So I'm looking for another ROM.. one that's stable, fast and can do many things (especially making pictures and video's in good quality)...
I hope someone can advise me a better ROM than the Energy Rom. Cause I've already seen that and I'm ready for something new....

One of notable ROM is Dutty v3.9 XT turbo.

The best ROM u can use is kwbr v 5.7 COM2 MANILA
Why?!
1. Because is with the Manila version and this make the whole interface super fast and stable.
2. Its 6.5 Based from COM2 witch is most stable bug free branch with super ram and battery consumation.
3. Because the ROM is tweaked and is even more faster and stable than a Stock ROM and this is Must have for EVERYDAY use if you want to enjoy your Blackstone.
4. You will never have any problem witch this ROM because just there is no SINGLE BUG
5. Our Blackstones are not made for 2.5 Sense or even 2.1 Sense because its to slow i play alot with HD2 and i know how the Sense must to look and response.. so maybe we never will catch the speed and the Sense to run on your Blackstones like is designed to be.. for this reason if you want to have a stable rom you just need TouchFLO Manila with core 6.5 this is the question WHY exactly this ROM.
Also if you prefer a 6.5.3 Based ROM there is exactly the same ROM v 5.7 COM3 Manila the diference is of the Branch Build i also test this ROM too and is super good but COM2 is the fastest and stable ONE till now no one beat it

At the moment I have W.M. 6.1 installed (standard Rom)
The kwbr v 5.7 COM2 MANILA looks good for as far as I know. But since this is my first W.M. advanced phone, I'm not sure if it's wise to do this 'upgrade'.
If something happens with my phone, what then? Because these ROM's are more like hacks or am I wrong?
Is the phone really getting faster for example? And do I need to install all kinds of extra if I install this kwbr v 5.7 COM2 MANILA ROM?
I read the sticky's etc about flashing ROM's, but since English isn't my main language and I'm not yet that technical in all these terms, I'm not sure if it's wise for me to install a different ROM.
(sorry for hijacking this thread, but since I'm also looking for the best ROM, I think it's appropiate to post this here)

Ofcourse 1st now u have WM 6.1 and he have ugly Start Menu and appireance etc and if you install 6.5 will see the diference..
the Cooked ROM`s are not Hacks they are build from the latest avalible apps xip and etc packages.. for example when there is new Update for the Rhodium or HD2 Leo because they both use the same resolution and etc the cookers get the latest updates from there and make them for our Blackstone..
So when you are flashing a new ROM cooked you are going to have the latest updates published from Microsoft and in some cases HTC
I think that worth to Flash a new ROM and experiment and if you read evrything carefull you cannot damage your device..
The honest is that WM 6.1 maybe is the fastes one because of the poor graphic and appiriance but some of the cooked rom are faster than 6.5 because they are Cooked and because some unusual stuffs are removed from the ROM.. so when you flash a Cooked ROM you get only the things that are writen in the ROM thread..
So to understand me clear a Stock Official 6.5 ROM for example for HD2 and Cooke 6.5 ROM for HD2 the cooked one will BEAT in many aspects..
They are tweaked... optimized.. updatet and etc!
So the only reason why they are Cooked and we call not official is because the Cookers are just guys from here.. if they was working for Microsoft or HTC they will be releasing Official ROM`s

Did you upgrade radio? My Blackstone was overclocked to 750MHz on stock ROM (1.14) but when I flashed Barebone 2.6 (1.59) it couldn't go over 691MHz untill radio upgrade. Now it's stable at 729MHz.

kwbr 5.7 C2 Manila is the best ROM around for everyday use.
I have got my Blackstone from my uncle with this rom a year ago. Never had problems.
Last week I've experimented with some latest roms (Several Energy, and kwbrs with sense in them).
Sense is too slow/unresponsive on our machine. That was bugging me - since I know how fast it should be.
I'm coming back to No Sense ROM. Surely, I will miss the eye candy of Sense, and huge amount of quick links in Energy, but the performance and the battery life means more to me.

I´m looking for an ESN/SPA rom with 6.5.X (latest better) with all the better programs by default.
I´m from spain and i opened a thread in "htcmania" but anyone aswer me, for the moment I have the "BsB 6.5" in my htc diamond and i were very happy with it untill a week ago that the camera started to give me problems, because it didn´t make photos, it freezes and doesn´t work.
Please, If someone knows how to make it work again I will be grateful for it, but if none knows how to make it work i would like to reflash my Diamond to a new better Rom, the problem is that the diamond´s are forgetted because are really old, but is the only phone i have... so can someone helps me...

You can try Fodd's sense (by arealityfarbetween) its available with Sense 2.1, 2.5 and titanium and as a 6.5 and 6.5.3 Rom Version - the rom itself is awsomely fast (also uses a proper ATI Graphics driver)

[Q] Non Manila custom Rom?

Okay, so for the longest time I have been trying to find a non manila custom rom. I do not like sense at all on the touch pro 2. I am currently running WM 6.5 and I believe it's a stock rom from sprint. I have tried the Energy Roms and I did like them but I did notice more lag than usual. I was just wondering if you could find any and tell me about them please?

NRGZ does make a titanium rom, have you tried that? You can also disable sense in the settings and run windows default, have you tried that?

Yes, I have tried that rom. But the thing that is that it is kinda too laggy. I mean I like the looks but the menu's seem to freeze and other stuff. So I was just hoping that there was a different one with a htc messaging look that is in the sense texting.

there might be also a none manila rom made by AF (AF roms, just search )

I don't make roms without Manila
All my roms are Sense or TF3D based. I don't even have Titanium included.
