I have been looking at the forum for an hour now and cant quite work out which rom is best suited for me.
Could someone point me in the right direction please.

Unless you tell us your specific needs - nobody can tell you which ROM is best suited for you.
Even if you did - it's a matter of taste - of what you do with your device the most - which features are most important to you etc.
[BETA] Trinity WM6 WWE | GER (Choose WWE for World Wide English) is from a great ROM cook - as is INDIGO_lite&full [08.07.2007 released] (Choose light if you want to install all of your own apps - choose Full if you want a bunch of apps pre-installed). Newer to the scene but both producing great ROMS are hellonasty with [NEW] MARY V2.0.2 IS OUT [10/09/07] and
[NEW] ROM Mary V2.0 IS OUT [05-09-2007] (Don't automatically assume that most recent is best - I find the V1.2 the most stable and bug free). Also new is udK with his [NEW] udK 5.1 ITA|WWE WM6 [09/09/2007] ROM which is reputed to be very good (haven't tried it yet - but have read lots, me about this one). PDAVIET ROMs are generally pretty good, also look at [WWE] Ultra Light ROM & Big Black ROM (OS 5.2.1620 Build 18125.0.4.2)-Vers.[06.09.07] by sammydeluxe - from what I've read they're not bad either. LVSW was one of the first (if not the first) cooks to bring us WM6 for Trinity.
So going with any of the above for an English Language ROM should be OK.
You need to read A LOT before you go ahead and choose which one - be aware of the downside of each ROM 9most have a couple of little bugs.
and once you flash - let us know which one you chose, why and what you like / don't like about it.
P.S. If I have forgotten anyone's ROM in the above - please forgive me. And a big-up to all our ROM chefs doing a wonderful job! Ta.

Hi, in these first Pdamobiz WM6.1 ROM is still too much Bugs. Bluetooth not working. I advise to NOT install. Next version which comes there fast is much better.

Stingray, this 6.1 builds are so buggy, maybe it's a way how cookers implemented it but two builds I have tried and it's available here are the worst ROM's I ever put on my Trinity...
It's hard for me to imagine that new build like 6.1 can bring so much (may I say) newbie errors, I just hope someone who have good knowledge in cooking will provide us with nice and stable WM6.1 ROM soon...I don't think there's any available by now...

They are now at update 4, so there is progression. I tried many ROM's and some are better than others.
I'm more interested in features of the ROM 1620 B19199.1.0 than the ROM itselves. So it's not really a problem to me that it's buggy.
It's difficult to download, estomated times like 14 hours is no fun.

Rom is good but missing....,
Stabile rom but i miss 2 nice feauters that where in but got removed...?
1. No option voor video calling in this rom?.....(or im to freaking blind to find it)
2. Touch Cube removed or doesnt function any morge....

Hi boys, i come here some time ago, for some month i used the roms made by DVHA_79 and for now i used the latest full v27 version and there is all ok.. exist only a problems, a small problems ..... I'm italian.
Some time my Dad take my Hermes for some days and the current flash it's completely in English..... it's no good for my Dad
If i want to install an Italian Roms.... i have found on this forum two only version but it's very old version.
You can send me some information how i can found a recent builds roms with WM6.1 Pro for my TyTn ??

I've the same problem, I need (if possible) Italian ROM for Hermes... but the only I've found are very old....
Hey, does anyone have the latest official ROM update for a UK touch diamond? The site seems to be down atm.
Also is the official rom much worse that the unofficial ones? i see it has not been updated for quite a long time now.

There are a few ROMs based on the 2.0 release. Use them instead.

I have tested ALL the top named roms, official 2.0test, cooked ones, swiftbl, dia and my top one is Duttys 3.6b with a 12mb page pool.

I would like to know what you all think os the best rom and radio for HTC Artemis (XDA Oribt 1)
As for the radio I recommend 3.34.90 and for the Rom i recommend either shady313's WM6.5 build 23060 Rom or Dheewatara's WM6.5 build 23414 as that is what i am using as of now

Actually I have tried 23075 as well and its newer than the 23414 version I would say its better to stick with the 23075

If you want a great rom then search for this
Ask Artemis Touch 4.02 WM6.1 WWE ROM, 5.2.19199
In my opinion it is the best rom I have flashed to date plus it includes Touchflo with a four sided cube and basically includes just about everything you could ever want.
Please note that this is only my opinion and I mean no disrespect the great roms that all chefs are cooking. Long may they continue thier excellent work

hi guys...i'm a newbie at flashing rom and I was wondering if someone can give me somehelp with these questions:
1. what's the best rom...i refer to speed, signal strainght and a bit of futures..
2. I've seen this rom "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400452" that sais "45mb total storage memory/ 25mb free program memory"...what does that mean, wich memory it refers to??I ask this because when I look into my Artemis under settings\device info\hardware it sais flash size: 128mb, but storage size:37.63mb..
3. what's the difference between flash mem and storage mem??
