Radio Upgrade
I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade to the latest Radio version without Hard Resetting the BA. Also the link to the Radio version 1.15 seems to be broken as it only links to version 1.13

WM6?
Long time BA user, tried every WM5 ROM out there and just wish I was technical enough to try building one myself but I'm not. Just wondering though; since there are so many WM6 ROMS for the Wizard, and since the first WM5 ROMS were ported from Wizard... shouldn't we be able to get WM6 on the BA?

I was able to flash the radio after my WM5 upgrade.

WM6.5 on HTC Touch Diamond

Hi, I am new to this forum. I recently bought one HTC Touch Diamond, now its running on WM 6.1. I want to upgrade it to WM 6.5. I have gone through several posts, but i didnt understand them. Could anyone please help me out with a complete set of programs/utilities needed for an upgrade.

well, before posting, please look at the second post of this forum (Diamond rom developpment)

6.5 is a completely new OS so your going to have to install Hard SPL (link in post above)
after that your free to download any chef Roms (don't Ask which one is best because people REALLLY don't like those kind of questions here)
just try a few out see how you like them, or if your feeling up to the challenge download a kitchen and create your own custom 6.5 rom
(PS. Rom = the OS + any programs/tweaks added
kitchen = the tools needed to create a Rom
cooking = the act of using the tools from the kitchen to create a custom rom)

NEWBIE Needs Advice

Hi,
I'm new to the forum, hence would appreciate some guidance & advice. Bought the Touch HD recently, and am keen to have the very nice looking
TF3D/manila 2.5 interface that's flying arnd the forum. But don't know how to go about doing it.
Is there a step-by-step dummies guide somewhere in the forum?
Frm what I can gathered, i think i need to flash my ROM before I can do anything. I see there are so many ROMs around but which should I use?
Info abt my device .. WM6.1 Pro, CE OS 5.2.20757 (Build 20757.1.4.0).

You will need a rom with TF3D 2.5. Take a look in the rom section and decide for yourself which one to go for based on what people have said in the threads. Bare in mind you can always flash another rom if you don't like it anyway...
At the time of writing Miri's Rev7.1 and Dutty's Leo R2 are the only roms with the very latest TF3D 2.5 (sometimes referred to as 2.6 as it has a weather panel and animated weather on the home screen).

This is my first post so please go easy on me, i have HTC Touch HD with WM 6.1 but would like to know if it is possible to upgrade to WM 6.5 and if so how do i go about doing so?

At present wm6.5 is only available in cooked roms as not officially released yet. To flash a coooked rom read and follow this guide. Post future queries regarding flashing in that thread

HTC Diamond1 upgrade from 6.1 to 6.5

Can anyone of you help me to upgrade my Htc diamond 1 from 6.1 to 6.5 Windows version. I am also looking at having a different radio version than the one that company usually provides. I have RUU in my device.

All the information you need to do what you're requesting is right here in this tutorial! Don't ask anyone which is the best ROM because there isn't a best ROM - there are ROM's you like and ROM's you don't.
There are quite a few 6.5 ROM's available, you'll just have to try them and see which suits your needs
