But you can try the SuperCalendar from ScaryBear Software. It got a lot more options as well. And of course, you can configure all kind of possible colors.

Thanks for help but I'm looking for calendar witch can be launched from manila...
I guess it's impossible without re-flashing ROM
I use ThumbCal on my HTC Touch HD.
It's not free, but I feel it's worth it.
+1 for ThumbCal. (www.thumbapps.com)

Sliding Panels Theme
Hi
I have a Samsung Blackjack II and i really like the sliding panels theme of WM 6.1, so i was wondering can it be ported to WM6 or not? since there are no 6.1 ROMs for Blackjack II. If it can,can someone please extract the files and post them here
Thanks

I think were fighting the same battle. Funny how wm 6.1 came from a motorola q8.
thanks i'll try them out and tell u if it was successful
nope not working just a background and nothing else
Im also looking for this. If anyone has an idea for an working one please leat me know.
sliding panels theme-on other than kavana?
is it possible to get the theme installed on a 1.33 version? im not sure if this is his own theme and hasnt been released to the public.
i tried the kavana version and it just seems that the 1.33 works smoother (...please dont bash me, its just personal preference) and uses less battery life, so i flashed back but i really miss the theme and a few of the other options. so my next question, am i just better off cooking my own rom or is it too complicated for "slightly above average" people like me?
can anyone point me in the right direction please?
thanks in advance
The "CHome" homescreen plugin is developed by Microsoft and is part of the WM 6.1 OS. Anyway... there's ways of getting it to work on other ROMs or devices. Here's a cab I have that's supposed to make that happen. Try installing it on your device, it should work.
thanks ill give it a try
fast response much appreciated!
tried a version of chome that i found but it didnt work either...i installed the chome_2 first and got a blank background, installed a version of chome and got the same thing but only showed a partial of the blank background, like the right and top are chopped off with a different shade of green than the background, (sorry best i can describe it) i uninstalled both and reinstalled chome first then chome_2, still the same results. i guess im stuck with the brightpoint 1.33 kavana version for now. thanks for the help
sorry for the post, the kavana version changed since the last time i used it. im cool with it now, no need for this post anymore, mods please bump. thanks
Work it with WM 6.0? Thanks.

Think this has already been answered and it's not available without 6.1.
Please feel free to correct me if wrong?
Hi,
I work with the Oops Black for the moment, but i feel that the last touch 4.02 still was the most stable.
1> Is there a new upcomming touch rom ?
2> I don't seem to find the iphone icons, not so nice for an overview...
I like the following todayscreens :
--------------------------------
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402124 - superb today screen!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402021 - icons too iphone like
And the "Throttle Launcher" seems also nice as a today screen.
Hope some new roms will arrive soon with one of the 3 above included
It's very quiet nowadays concerning new roms
If anyone has nicer today screens, please post for us
Or great SPB MobileShell 2.0 themes
Cheers,
Innovator
I think maybe the best is to install a light stable WM6.1 rom without anything, and then install what you like (SPB Mobile Shell 2.0) with great today & weather screens.
Then install the programs you need... New roms are not always needed...
runs perfectly on last version of Vanilla
Are these todayscreens applicable for the P3300???
I tried to search trough the both threads, but I'm not able to find exactely an answer on this question:
Do I have to install the SPB?? what is that??
Thanks in advance!
Yes, just instal SPB Mobile Shell 2.0
You can find a lot of themes everywhere.
Just place all the files in the program files/Spb mobile skin directory (overwrite everything) and reboot.
Very simple for our P3300 having some very nice skins
Sweet! Thanks for the tip... Going to try
Hmmm, tried it... and like it (a lot..)
After some searching because the phone didn't went directly to the SPB menu today screen after boot-up or after unlocking and creating some linkt to the pocketCM contacts.. I have a little question: Does the calender tab also shows upcoming events? or do I have to press the organizer/calender and then "this week?"
Hi all please be gentle as I'm new. And yes this may be the wrong place for this question.
I have seen videos and reviews about the new 6.5 but none of them show what the weather tab will look like as I love the look of the home screen with the big flip clock and tabs on the 6.1 but they look rather plain in just text style I have seen on the 6.5reviews on youtube.
Is it possible to have the advantages of 6.5 but with the old look of 6.1? Are there any photos anywhere? I have tried to do some searches here but have not found what I'm looking for.
Just to add, I don't have one yet but looking into getting one and have read the issues with 6.1 but love the look of the 6.1 (origional Touch HD) So it looks to me that 6.5 is better but lost the look.
Please help
Thanks.

I am running WM6.5 and it is the same as 6.1 (at least from a TF3D perspective). All the tabs are the same as with 6.1. There are different versions of Manila (ie TF3D) viz 2.0, 2.1 and 2.5 which run on both 6.1 and 6.5 (although I have not seen Manila 2.5 on a 6.1 ROM yet).
Perhaps in the youtube video they were showing the Titanium interface, but you have the option of either running Titanium or the more familiar TF3D.
So yes, if you go to a 6.5 ROM you can have all of the benefits of a 6.5 ROM with the familiarity of a 6.1 ROM. Try it, you'll love it.
Thanks very much for the quick reply and clarifying this for me.
Now I just have to find a unlocked new handset for under £400.

You do not need to worry about getting an unlocked one, there are tools here to unlock the phone so that you can flash to any ROM. Read the stickies on the ROM development forum.
Does any one know where to find maybe a CAB or registry tweak
to have 4 columns of icons in the start menu on the new win 6.5.1 or maybe on 6.5
guess that doesnt really matter.
But I cant find it any where, I see it on some theme's and packages but I would like to have it loose if that's possible
Thx in advance
Try this one
It works on official WM 6.5 from rhodium and topaz...

Yeah, the four wide for the Start Menu is great, but I would also like the 4 wide for the Programs tab.
I have just bought a CDMA Touch Pro 2 (swedish keyboard) and I really dont like HTC Sense. If I uncheck HTC Sense in today plugins it looks normal again, but all the HTC programs are still there, like SMS.
When I recieve a SMS it shows in a preview window but there is no way to reply to the message. I need to first close the preview window, open the SMS program, open the message and then choose to reply. In my Samsung i780 with WM6.1 I had the option to reply in the preview window.
Who is to blame for this change? WM6.5 or HTC?
Can I restore the original WM-programs? Or do I need to get a clean WM 6.5 rom? In that case, what rom do you recommend? I need a clean WM 6.5 swedish rom with support for swedish hw keyboard. Preferably WM 6.5.5 or 6.5.3.
Thanks!

If you have Sense turned off like you describe, then I think what you're seeing there is actually the new message threading in WM6. It's possible to turn this off in the phone options, I don't remember exactly where right this moment. But, try turning that off and see if sms takes you straight to the view you want after that.

No, the SMS program is actually called "HTC Messages" and it also has that "HTC look". and if I use the old today screen and click on "No unread messages" I get to the classic SMS program, but I can only access my email accounts from there. The SMS/MMS account has been removed.
In my i780 I had over 10000 SMS (5000 received, 5000 sent) and it worked very well, couldnt notice any sluggishness. The HTC program takes ages to open with only 100 messages. I really dont need to save all messages but I think it sucks when my old phone is handeling it better than my new.
Btw, writing this on my TP2, it's wonderful but I would love it even more if I could fix these small problems
Have you tried a soft reset after a hard reset, before the customization?
The OS is in ROM and should not be altered.
The customizations are in Extended ROM and run after the OS has installed itself.
So a soft reset before the extra's are installed should prevent it from installing at all.

I havent tried that. It sounds like a good idea, but is it safe? What happens if I soft reset too early?
First of all, I've learned that my TP2 actually is a GSM version, not CDMA.
Now I'm running http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=629137 which works very good but it's too bloaed. I still want a clean WM 6.5.5 rom.
There arent many to choose from since I want a swedish one, so how hard is it to modify TK-ROM v0.94b? All I want to do is to remove all the extra.
