I just thought I'd take a moment (one previously spent fiddling with my phone) to say well done and thank you to both Tom_Codon and meschle. Which ever flavour of ROM you've decided to put on your device I'm sure you'll agree that it has breathed new life into it.
I for one feel as if I just got a new phone. I haven't soft reset since Friday (which is a shame as I do like my animated splash screens), all my apps are set up, my home screen is just the way I like it....... so what do I do now?
Congratulations guys your efforts are much appreciated and I for one look forward to finding something more constructive to do with my time than hard-resetting my phone (well for a week or two anyway).
Cheers
Matt
I totally agree with you!
It's really amazing what these guys have created.. I don't know what would make my phone better than now. It's nearly perfect, just as I need it as my constant companion.
In this way, thanks mates..
lets be careful though
.....come on guys, I know the likes of Tom and Meschle are fantastic guys - with a lot of skill....but lets not make their heads TOO big....lol
If we big them up too much HTC might hear about them and take them away from us

I think Tom and many other cooks etc are well able to beef up the skills in HTC etc, but would not last long there.
Tom likes to produce new roms every month, but will be told 'that feature you just cooked is fantastic. We can sell that as the the new feature in next years model. We dont release new features unless we can sell them with hardware'

Thanks matt - this is encouraging Lets not forget fracoon - hope you finish your rom soon your beta is very promising
Well, I only know this forum for 2 weeks, but I could say that I am really impressed of the great work done on these ROMs.
I can't imagine the amount of work it is, but for sure the result is amazing
I'd like to put my 2 pennies in as well...
Thanks guys, tom meschle, fracoon and who ever else there is... i've had my xda orbit for a while, had other xda's b4, and work with loads of xda's, but since joining this forum, my xda has hit another level...
the time and effort u guys put in, my hat goes off to u guys... ive bin trying to cook my own rom, but failed miserabley, but i'll keep trying... im sure uguys will help
thanks again guys...
I can see a new MTV show coming soon; Pimp My PPC
Bunch of Cordon Bleu chefs in the kitchen taking some sad old OEM XDA and cooking away until voila! A new pimped-up device handed over to the poor ole charity case that will be able to now proudly be seen once more down the pub with his mates (a position for me I think )
Respect Gents, you make a good product so much better
Thanks to all
I also wish to thank all the people, who make ROMs and which happen to be much better than the original one.
This forum is a knowledge base for those who owns Pocket PCs. At times it is better than the manufacturers' support pages. To those who have created the Cook ROMS, you guys has shown a thing or two of how to make a ROM stable. Keep the good work.
If i can i would give 1000 Stars to the xda forum!!!
Is is the best i personally know and i deeply hope from the bottom of my heart that out friends like tom_condon and coolgadget come back.
There are only a few people kicking at the the forum - and most of us live the right spirit of the forum!!!
I think that it is interesting to buying a htc thanks to this forum because with original roms does not work well. 1000 stars to xda. We have new phones thanks to developers of the forum.
RESPECT
I absolutely agree with macguffin.
I've had tom's bb3.7 and 4.0, and I was totaly amazed! Until I join the xda forum I had my device with slow wm5, but now THANKS TO LOCAL GUYS I have brand new Artemis - I couldn't even imagine anything like this before. Now I have Meschle's ROM(seems better for me). I'm also sad that a lot of "internet newbies"(don't know how to search and ask) comes here but heads up guys...it's everywhere. I think if we stick together we can make this forum better!
Thank to all of you here who spend your nights with pimping our devices. You show me new way of using my phone. I don't wanna call your names because I know there are a lot of members who want to share their knowledge - no matter how they are skilled.
I'm sorry for my english, it probably isn't too good to describe my feelings.

Thanks to the chefs. Also many thanks to the developers who make the tools, which make these ROM's possible, thanks to Bepe, Pof, A_C, Gullum and NNcuong to mention just a few.
i am using B&B v3 Ger - Rom on my XDA orbit
and its much better than the original wm6. i love it!
hopefully soon the ger version of 4.1 will come out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need ur help. I want to help my friend to upgrade her Jasjam. I cant see what type of mobile is Jasjam if hermes or universal..im trying to search but i cant find one.
If you can include also the link
HOPE SOMEONE will HELP me regarding this matter..WHICH ROM for JASJAM
JASJAM - is Hermes.
JASJAR - is Universal.
And seeing how you've been on this forum for quite some time I'd expect you to know that there is no such thing as "best ROM".
Each has advantages and bugs and it is all a matter of choice.
Also a little patience couldn't hurt.

Hi folks!
Yes, yes, I know this is Trinity Mobile 6 and I am posting this here even though I spent several weeks cleaning the mess up but firstly I am a MOD and I can allow myself to do it (kidding) and second, I was a Chef here (in case you forgot) so it's pretty much related to Mobile 6.
I didn't think I'll see the day I'd post this to you...
Unfortunately (for me for sure) I am retiring from cooking for the Trinity. As some of you might know, I upgraded to Diamond recently and Moderating the messiest forum around (Diamond) plus testing and preparing for cooking for the Diamond pretty much takes up all my time. I still have my Trinity in case you wonder, and you bet I'll be back flashing the newest ROMs released by the fine Chefs we have here (and feedback plus criticise )!
Well, my journey ends here after starting with some Media Player skins, boot screens, splash screens, today themes, tweaks, some cabs and finally cooking 15 ROMs (from which 3 for the 3600i - great people there).
My kind request to you is to keep up the good work, maintain the friendly and helpfull attitude, treat everyone with respect and maintain as much as possible the order in the Forums... or else I'll be back to kick some butts and ban you
I wish you all good luck!!!
Do not hesitate to contact me with anything, still consider me a Trinity user as my heart will always belong to this forum and device!
Thank you for everything tnyyntYou're THE BEST.Pozdrawiam
thank's bro.
Cheers for all the hard slogger you have put into modding the Trinity forums, however short lived!!
Our loss is the Diamond forums (much needed) gain Super thanks
farewell
hi tnyynt,
it's great to have you to cook for us (p3600i as not many or even none out here to do it) and it's sad to see you are leaving but happy that you got the Diamond.
I've been trying to learn how to cook p3600i as I have one and many others too. I hope you can pass me some information about p3600i so that I can continue in the future to support p3600i (as I can see I will have this p3600i for a long time )
Cheers bro
My man!!!! So sad to hear that!!! The hint you gave in your 315/6/7 was REAL! Sh*t!

Hi guys and gals, maybe some of u have noticed that our legendary, , friend and cooker Tom Codon, has been back to XDA.
Just made this thread to check out, what do you think, if another Tom Codon rom will come out, how it should be?
Cheers.
Welcome Back Tom
Welcome back, Tom, it would be very interesting to try a new rom for the mythical HTC.
Thank you.
TOM is a Genius
I would love to have a ROM from him, he is a true genius, what say TOM! Looking forward for your next super ROM
Oop's Tom_codon thread ?
Really an unexpected , some friends here still remember me
I'm greatly appreciated it
And i still having a Artemis device. So will make some roms for funs
This times , some roms of cookers use LZX mode xip for make a big storage or some Clean Rom version having size less than 50 mb. With Rom less than 50 mb we just can Flash it from SD card , can't Flash with RUU.Really inconvenient ?
Yes , i think ..
So yesterday i contact with cmonex and she done and new USPL Artemis can be Flash Rom with any size !
This is really nice for Artemis forum ?
Cmonex will release for all in today or tomorrow , keep looks in Artemis mobile 6 forum
Thanks to ark666 , gigi_o , shahdave for this thread
Cheers guy..!
Hello Tom and welcome back! You have been missed, really you have.
Welcome back!
Welcome back and a big shalom from sunny Israel!
I am looking forward to the new rom you might already be preparing for us.
Can't say I am happy with the other cooks, because I keep getting a lot of battery drainage and loss of memory.
I will keep an even closer look at XDA
Wow!
Welcome back Tom!!
We really did miss you. I've to admit that I've been trying some roms lately
and right now I am using Yue's rom because it's fast and stable. Also I like the black theme.
I always liked your roms and they were always fast, stable and good looking!!
Good to hear that you still have an Artemis device.
Will be checking out the forum for your new rom.
Take care and good luck!!
Hi Tom, really amazing to see a legend again.
In the meanwhile I changed to xperia section but my Artemis is still rocks and is used for navigation, musikbox and so on. Anyway your roms have been the best most stable and a big breakthrue of all rom developing communities - and still the most read threads in some communities - legendary Tom. Now if you are back looking forward for some news! I still havent found a stable Iolite ram (touch crusie 2) with footprints working and fullly integrated to Artemis! Love to see some news on the good old (and often bricked!!!) artemis device.
Oh wow, hey Tom.
Don't have my Artemis anymore so I can't try any new ROMs for it
Do you dabble in any Kaiser or Diamond cooking?
hey
welcome back TOM
i'm really glad that u came back
can't wait ur new rom
and btw tell us what ur new device to buy one

He told me that he just have the Artemis, the others went for a walk.
So i guess that we are a bit lucky.
Plus we also need some "crazy" moderating on Artemis forum.
Cheers.
Welcome back TOM...
You just arrived again now, and we ear about a new USPL coming up...
You a god..
Cheers
...as long as his moderate behavior persists, I second all the above...
greetz

Hey tom, welcome back ... glad to hear you gonna make some roms again!
tnx!
Nice to see you again Tom.
Welcome back Tom......

Welcome back TOM
Hi,
Nice to see you again with this Forum...
Let's hope to have a chance to cook brand new ROM
Cheers
Nice to have you back man ^^
Dear All
I am dying to get the Latest Roms for Excalibur, can any seniors and masters update on whats going on... and whats gonna come up.....
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL U GUYS
REGARDS
KARAN ADHIKARI
GUJARAT-INDIA.
Realize, karan_adhikari, that the Chefs who cook up these roms are doing this in their free time. Occasionally they will release some news about progress (if any), but don't always expect constant news. It is a possibility they may want to keep something in private beta, or alpha for that matter.
Ookba and LoveBabyJing are two amazing chefs, and their latest ROMs should definitely suffice, as the ROMs brought to us by these two master chefs make the Excalibur go above and beyond its original potential.
My advice, be patient like the rest of us, and when some news comes about, be happy that it came about. The ROMs will be developed and released when they are done and ready for the public.
Okay Sir
I indeed agree with you and will respect your Advice Sir.
