Does Onenote mobile 2010 support audio recording it seems too simple and can only take notes and support lists and pics. I thought 2007 supported audio, can anyone shed light on the future features in the program. I'm assuming this is just a beta i'm using. Is there a newer version or fix for this audio feature?
Cheers

If the old one note supported audio, I never noticed it...
OneNote mobile isn't particularly feature rich when compared to the desktop variant.
EDIT:
Actually, right at the bottom of "Menu" is "Insert Recording", so it does do voice notes. This is in OneNote 14.0000.23529.

Mine is the same version and came cooked with latest energy rom. I create a note but i still don't have the option to insert recording. Weird! I'll see if i can find the latest cab to install it.

I like the HTC-Voice-Recorder, it's simple and easy to use without the stylus..only the quality is so bad! The Notes program can record in nice quality..so the mic. is not the problem..
Anyone know how to improve the quality with HTC-Voice-Recorder?
Or, does anyone know a Prog which works on the Hermes WM6.1, which records directly to mp3s in moderate high quality?
I used to have one, but it broke up every 20secs or so and was unusable that way..
Thx for any infos
Voice Note
1.Vito Audio Note

I tried Resco Audio Recorder, the problem with it was that the recorded file kept breaking up every 20secs or so..and the lower settings were to bad quality as far as I remember..
Hello!
I want to know where the audio files recorded with HTC Voice Recorder are filed on my mobile?
Thanks

I am using Microsoft Recite.
Maybe you could try NoteM, I have used this for years, not sure if it works on 6.1 or not but it's worth a shot. It's free, why not?

yeh its called video calling. nah jokes i've got nothing. But i do hear along the grapevine that Skype is trying to implement the video chat to be released for 6.5. Last I heard its in its very early alpha stages, it would be cool though.
any of you with a tp2: is the ICR recording function enabled on the tp2 like it is on the HD?
anyone tried porting the .cab file from the hd to the tp2?
this is the one must-have function for me and i'm wondering if this is possible before i pull the trigger.
thanks in advance.
On a related note:
Is there an app for WinMo/TP2 like Total Recall on Symbian?
http://www.killermobile.com/newsite/content/view/40/82/
This is a killer app, imho. Records all calls and asks *after* the call whether you want to save the call or not.
From usability point of view this is the way it should work: you decide *afterwards* whether the call was worth recording.
Anything similar for Windows Mobile?
vito audio notes touch works on touch hd
You could also try Auto Call Recorder

on some roms yes on some not. (on my german t-mobile one ICR is not enabled by default.)
in case it does not work get the cab from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3577992&postcount=82
that will enable 2way ICR.
the actual recording can be done with any application after the cab has been installed.
Hi, my girlfriend use an iphone 4 and well obviously I use SGS2.
is there a video call app other than skype? we've tried fring and qik, but really bad video quality.
so is there an app that will work for android + iphone 4?
i've tried the modded skype by pulser and the other dev(sorry i forgot), it has the video call feature but when use the video option, my gf accept the call but skype made it voice call, hence fail to video call~~
skype from phone should be able to make calls to desktop pc and iphone 4's skype right?
Try Tango...

To be honest, the video calling feature on android sucks. On iphone face time calling is clear and reliable, were as on android you have to resort to 3rd party apps, which pretty much suck. So you can't expect cross platform calling to work properly when android to android pretty much sucks. Av tried nearly all the available video calling apps, and none impressed me in comparison to face time calling.

What about ooVoo? You can call mobile-mobile and pc-mobile with ooVoo. Take a look at their homepage, which is their name between www and com
Whatever works best for you!

well it says in their site coming soon for SGS2? found in browser's market but incompatible with device.
looks promising though.
I've used Skype from my phone to my friend's iPhone and the video quality was brilliant. Just make sure you're on WiFi. Don't forget, this is a requirement for facetime on iPhone, so that's the only way to compare quality.

thanks for the link but i have them already.
speaking of skype, i have problems video calling to iphone 4. calling to desktop computer has no problem though. when i called ip4, it connects to video for moment(but just black with the video buttons) then immediately changed to voice call and it will be changing forth or so until i end it. any clue?
Just tested with v5 and iPhone4 and iPod4 sgs2. One autoswitch to audio only in 20 test calls on wifi. Also limiting resolution in advanced options might help. I left it on auto.
One note. If your GF on iPhone has app off in suspend and not in app then after she accepts call she has to enable video manually by selecting camera icon and choosing which camera she wants to use.

Perfectly smooth video on Tango for me too.
Tested and works on:
SGS <-> SGS
SGS <-> iCrap Touch
I recently switched to an AOSP rom and found that the samsung voice recording app sounds very good. I'm not sure, but i'm guessing it utilizes both mics. The first app from the market i tried, smart voice recorder, sounded horrible. I couldn't hear the lecture at all. Does anyone know of an app that utilizes both the mics or sounds as good as the touchwiz app?
for general recording I use recforge...i bought pro, you can swap formats, decrease gain It can successfully record vocals during band practice with a loud guitar, so i can find harmonies after if I'm struggling or if a new soong. I highly recommend this app for recording. There are also convert tools and other options
as for lectures, I use lecture notes pro version with lecture note recordings. The recording is not as nice, but good enough and when listening to a play back, i can search, then press a place on my handwritten notes and it will automatically synch the play back to the time when i wrote the notes. I use it with a stylus and it take what i wrote in the window at the bottom and places it on a line in the "paper", it does multi pages, has so many options for tweaking size, font, and way more than I can list here. There is a trial version however the recording add on is purchase only. the lecture notes printed out really nice from phone and tablet or i can share them to google drive, evernote etc. I tried 7 notes and like lecture notes much better with regard to fluency when in a lecture.
and if just a recorder I would go with recforge...HTH!

i need recording only. doe recforge sound fine when recording a lecture standing about 15 feet away from the professor? I just am kinda looking for something to match the sound quality of the touchwiz app that comes with the phone.

Def will...there is a free version i believe where options are limited within app for formats mono vs stereo etc but you can check out quality for yourself its my go to recording app for sure...hope you like it or find what you need
Tape-a-Talk Pro. Its unbeatable. It sounds excellent from 30 ft and works fantastic on all of my devices, even my tab that has a pretty bad mic.

Never tried that one but will certainly check it out...what kind of options come with that? Do they have a free or trial app?
