hey guys
I am having issues sending mms on att. its not going through at all and its telling me "message format corrupt" but its just a regular jpeg file. does anyone have the correct att mms settings? I thought it automatically configured it once I put in my sim card.
I am also having issues with sms. i would say about 50% of the time it wont go through on the first try and it will have to retry again. its really annoying and I have full reception.
any help would be appreciated.
edit: i forgot to add, I can rececive mms but not send.
Did you add your providers APN info, you have the A8381 World phone,
so you have to manual add AT&T APN and if that does not work call att and ask for there apn info you will need the following
Internet
WAP
MMS
look at these Youtube Video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwwTm9PpruI&feature=related
the apn were already set. It set them up automatically after I put in the sim card.
the internet and receiving mms works but not sending.
also im getting annoyed at the sms sending failure, it keeps on having to retry to send.
do you have a MMS setup in your Desire, that is weird my HTC i had to add the APN
yeah it set up the att apn for internet and mms called "media net".
a lot of phones have automatic set up of att, its a pretty big and popular network.
does anyone have settings for mms for tmobile us?
internet works fine
mms RECEIVING WORKS PERFECT
my only problem is MMS OUTGOING wont send.
any suggestions/fixes?
Found the APN settings in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840841 hopefully that works
Does this work anyone?
Awhile back, I found a thread that explained how to fix the MMS send/receive problem with CM7 on Sprint. IIRC, it involved Open APNs using Voice Dialer and then adding an IP to the Server setting. Now, I can't find that thread again and I don't see another mention anywhere. I see plenty of information for other carriers but not Sprint.
Anybody else seen what I'm looking for?
Edit: Think this is the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756464
MMS Proxy: 68.28.31.7
MMS Port: 80
Menu>Save
Reboot
MMS is working. Tested from AT&T to Sprint, TX & RX. This worked the last time I found it, too. I need to remember to stay with CM7 until I move on to the next phone--nothing else comes close.
is this for not being able to receive MMS? I flashed AOKP on my wife's Epic 4G and everything works great except she is not able to receive (or maybe even send) MMS. Let me know if this is what this fix is for.

It fixed receiving for me, it probably fixed sending too, but I haven't needed to send anything

Hi,
I use Simple mobile, and I added Simple APNs. Before I root my n3, the mms worked perfectly. But after I did, anyone send me a picture, I can't see it and it always says the mms is from unknown addrress and blank messeage. The internet works fine.I also tried to add Tmobile APNs, but it just works for a couple mms. Any help is appreciate.
Alright, here's my story, after switching from Sense to CM11 when I first got my HTC One a few months ago things were working alright, then at some point I lost the ability to send or receive mms messages. I looked online and found that there were a few people with the same problem, most said the problem had to do with the apn settings, the solution to was either modified apn settings or using an alternate messaging program, such as 8sms.
Anyways, I tried several different apn setups to try and get my mms back, my LTE internet worked, but no mms. Eventually I found a setup that allowed me to send a mms to someone, but not receive one. I figured that was a good as I was going to get it.
After a few OTA nightly updates I decided to tinker with the apn settings again; my hope being that one of the new nightlies would have fixed the problem if I restored my apn settings to default. This didn't help and cost me the ability to even send mms. Needless to say I scoured the web to find usable apn settings again (I prefer to use the stock messaging app), eventually I ended up Frankensteining several together and found a solution that allowed for me to send and receive mms, as well as my LTE internet!:laugh::laugh:
[TL/DR]
Found APN settings that enable sending and receiving mms, as well as LTE internet (with a lte subscription, it's not a hack or anything).
Android Version - 4.4.2
CM Version - 11-20140430-NIGHTLY-m7vzw
See attached picture for settings...
still having mms issues
