Hi.
I've created two skins for the acer liquid dialer. I also changed the skin of the keypad that appears during calls (within the file Phone.apk).
The installation procedure is as follows (place the edited file in the Tools folder of the SDK)
Code:
adb remount
adb shell rm /system/app/Contacts.apk
adb push Contacts_k.apk /system/app/Contacts.apk
adb shell reboot
If you want the skin of the only dialer you install only the file Contacts.apk. If you also want the skin of the keypad that appears during calls, you must also install the file Phone.apk.
Code:
adb remount
adb shell rm /system/app/Phone.apk
adb push Phone_k.apk /system/app/Phone.apk
adb shell reboot
Here are some screenshots

so, i googled some stuff and i found a snap shot of an openiboot photo; i thought it'll look very nice to see it on my slash screen, instead of the default G1 slash which always almost make me feel i have a bricked phone , so i made a G1 splash for it, if you like; download it, enjoy

Put your device in fastboot first then extract everything and open a command prompt in that folder, then run:
Code:
fastboot flash splash1 mysplash.rgb565
Make sure you compare the checksums first though!
I was using VA Mix V1 theme for my SGS. I just changed the background of the notification menu.

I am using this on Doc's rom JS3. I have made a CWM flashable zip. Let me know if you like it.
Alternatively(recommended), push touchwizframeworkres.apk to /system/framework and reboot.
If possible, could you update it with spectrum 1.0?
Thanks

Nice mod, Ill test it soon as possible
Just a FYI as this is a CWM zip file you should delete the blank space between Black and Cat as it causes issues in Rom Manager

Done! Changed from Black Cat.zip to BlackCat.zip
@racerboy will do it. Update to spectrum1.0 soon.
Has anyone tried this on any other roms/themes?

Hi guys, just created my first bootscreen. It's a walking Android, ripped from the GIF by Cramit:
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2489/4219688545_13cb6f0e0f_o.gif
(the one above is Cramit's original one)
I cropped it to 320x480 and removed the frames where the robot is "generating" (translucid). All you have now is the fully-formed (opaque) android walking, in the correct screen size. Here it is:

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The flashable file is attached to the post.
Most of you should know how to flash a bootscreen, but, for the newbies, the instructions:
1 - Download the file to a folder of your choice
2 - Launch adb from the command line
3 - Type: adb push FOLDER-WHERE-YOU-DOWNLOADED/bootanimation.zip /data/local
You can also try putting it in your SD Card and moving it to /data/local via Root Explorer, but I can't guarantee it'll work.
I am also thinking about releasing a version merged with one of these Google boot screens:
or
So let me know if there's any interest in such versions.
Regards!

You mean just the Google bootscreen or the Android animation fading to the Google name? If you want only the Google logo with the loading circle, here it is. Tested and working on my 32A. Instructions for installation are the same as the OP's ones.
Thanks mate!!!
If anyone could offer some advice I'd be very grateful!
I used Unicon to apply an icon pack across my device, so my home screen currently looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
My lockscreen on the other hand displays the shortcut icons in grey circles:
What I'd like to do is remove those grey circles such that the shortcuts look like the ones on my home screen. I do have G3 Tweaksbox but it doesn't seem to offer a solution to this.
Thanks!
Open "lgkeyguard.apk" in /system/priv-apps/
via apk-decompile / winrar (extract the res/drawable-xxxhdpi folder)
Search the picture corresponding with the background you want to change.
Copy the recompiled apk back after recopying the picture.
Done.

Great, thanks! Unfortunately I've never dealt with decompiling/recompiling apk's before, so I'll have to approach this stuff carefully. I actually can't find lgkeyguard.apk in /system/priv-app/ using Root Browser though - is it possible that is has a different name / location in Lollipop?
/system/priv-app/LGKeyguard.apk
is the exact path for me (KK 4.4.2)
You could do a search for it using your filebrowser if it isn't there in LP.
Replacing pictures in apk files via Winrar is rather save.
I'd suggest that if you haven't tinkered with apk's b4.
Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it!
I have an s22 ultra with Verizon as my carrier. Some time ago I uninstalled Verizon's Security app Digital Secure. Two days ago I noticed that it had reinstalled itself on my phone, to which, I uninstalled it again (with ADB). And now only a day later it is back on my phone. Does anyone know of a ADB command to disable such Auto downloads from occurring?
This is probably the little bugger...

I'm also curious about the app that you're using. We'll be waiting for a name.
So I do in fact have this app. at the permissions this thing has. And for kicks I tried to disable and ran into this...

It's quit the horror. Might as well be malware.
Package Disabler kills it without any issues on my N10+'s.
