[HELP] Whats the difference btw OLD manila and NEW manila

I been searching on the forum for mths,i still do not know the difference btw new manila and old manila or Manila V3? Is the new manila a cooked version? Is it specified to some roms or default htc HD TF3D is the new manila? Someone help plz i am so confused! I am using normal STOCK rom for touch HD can i used themes for posted in the customizing TF3D collection new manila themes?

Anyway ! Check PointUI (signature) or SPB Mobile Shell ! I do'nt use TF3D anymore

He answered you question, some new programs are added (new Contact Manager, HTC Zip tool and more), some exsisting programs are updated. Also the new TF3D seems smoother. If you run the old TF3D I would highly recommend you to upgrade to for example: Dutty's 2.9 RTM ROM (this has the new TF3D included).

no, there is no installable update of manila. the only thing is to install some of those modules (e. g. the notification manager, the new camm manager etc.). But most of the modifications are only available if you flash a new rom

i tested it on my hd and i got a white box at the bottom left hand corner of the home screen.also the other tabs the wallpaper is resized and their is another white box at the top of the screen.did anyone else have this problem.any suggestions???

i think its v2...also i have installed transparent slider manila files and manila files to remove top and bottom curtain.do you think these could be the problem why it does not work?

can anyone make this into a cab install

What is the proper way to install this, please? Do I need to disable touch flo or anything first? I copied it to the windows directory and it worked to a degree. Im also running Duttys R5 and it seems to stretch the wallpaper vertically when you scroll to a different tab and doesnt display properly. Also when I changed my wallpaper only the home page changed until i do a soft reset or disable touch flo then re enable and that can be a pain just to change a wallpaper for all tabs. Any suggestions? Last but not lease im not to keen on manila files so if i wanted to undo this how would I go about it.Thanks in advance.

Didnt work for me on Miri v22 and pdaviet v46
only changed the home page and not any other tabs - even after SR

Oki ... sooo ... Here you have cab file ... If you change background for Home tab ... The same background should be visible on all tabs ... Works ok for Duttys R5 ... for hi-res background 480x800 ... I've not tested it for other res ... Restart of TF3D is required ...

... and here it is the orginal manila file ... for those of you who don't have it any more .... (this file is from manila V2.1 38658 from Duttys R5 .... )

Choose the miri's 6.5 manila 2.5 v10.1 ...
It is actualy the best 2.5 rom ... to my mind for sure...

You can't just download manila 2.5, you actually need to load a whole new rom with manila 2.5 cooked in.

Hey guys, ive never changed any manila files before, i have the net 3.5 upgrade and lots of great programs and games, but when i installed this .cab on my htc touch hd it just turned off the touch flo 3d.
So im sure this is all noob stuff to you guys, put can someone point me in the direction so i can read up on how to install this properly and the like.

NRGz used to change manila files and modify them, that's why it didnt work !

i test on diamond 1
but the porting is not perfect!!!

Because it is for WVGA screens dude
