how to active usbtopc popup without plug out&in the usb cable?
Any exe I can execute to get it poped up?
Thanks.
I don't know of a pop up, but you can go to Start\Settings\System\USB to PC
But it requires to plug in/out the cable to get the dialog. I prefer to click a shortcut to activate it.

Hello, sometimes it is unpossible to unlock the screen. When I press the "windows" button. It just vibrates and nothing happens!
Anyone got an idea?

Is it not showing the keyboard? Mine does the same thing from time to time. I just use the accessibility on screen keyboard to unlock when it does it.
it vibrates but the screen does not turn on? then try to hold volume down and power button to soft reset your device.

You have to disable the sleep mode for USB ports, it works for me :
-> Go to the device manager (you can go to control panel and click on SYSTEM and then device manager will be in the upper left corner). Go to the very bottom and find Universal Serial Bus controllers.
-> Click on the arrow next to it and it will reveal 2 "USB Root Hub" devices. Double click (or double tap).
-> On each one, choose Power Management tab from the top. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Then click on OK.
-> Be sure to do this on both device USB Root Hub listings.”

Every time I connect the LG G4 to Windoes7 It shows in windows explorer correctly. But I do not get a try icon that shows it is connected. on my previous phone Note 2 I would click on the icon in the try and select disconnect. Then a message would pop up "OK to disconnect"
Withe the LG G4 I do not see any way to disconnect before pulling the micro USB off the phone, so I just pull it off.
Will I mess up my 128GB SD card just pulling the micro USB cable off? is there a correct way to disconnect first before pulling off the cable?
Thanks in advance for you thought?
Life is too short to remove USB safely

There s nothing to do with your phone
first go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Notification Area Icons and choose USB to show always
Or
go to Computer & Right Click on Phone and select Eject to Remove it Safely
:good:
So my screen is unresponsive but I've gotten the OTG to work with my mouse.
I've enabled debugging with my mouse, and when unplug the OTG and I plug into my computer it prompts me to verify it and I have to check another box.
Is there a work around this? Or another way I can pull my files to my computer.
Also, now my phone is starting to flickr and simulate input and its making the mouse really hard to use.
I'm currently trying to recover some data of my broken A50 (black screen). I wanted to activate USB-Debugging since I have an OTG cable lying around. Would someone with an OTG cable and a keyboard be so kind to map me the way to the dev mode and usb debugging options. (Win + N for drop down menu).
Would be much appreciated.

Did anyone ever help you with this? I have this exact issue A50. Black screen, no wifi, flying blind, only option is OTG keyboard... have a basic map I want to try, but no idea on how to get to the SETTINGS SCREEN via KEYBOARD on Android 9. Win + n supposedly for nav bar, but 9 requires a double pull to show the settings gear, and who knows how many tabs or arrows required to even select the gear? (All this in effort to get to USB debugging setting.)
Hello, so I'm on Android Q and recently having this issues. Tried multiple USB cable but nothing works.
The problem is that when I try to charge-plug USB, it won't automatically charge, instead I need to tap notification-"charging connected via device USB" and select 'thus device' then it starts charging.
The strange things is that when phone off, I could plug the charger and it works. I'm so fed up with this, also the 'charging connected via device usb' seems persistent and annoying
Anyone having this problem? Any suggestion?
Thanks!
You can set default USB activity in developer options. You can control the notification by pressing and holding it and turning notification off.
Thank you, what works for me was cleaning both USB and port with perfume.. thank you tho
