TP2 MMS settings for o2 account - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

Help needed as cannot find a thread with answer.
Question is - I have a TP2 (supplied with a business Vodafone account) running WM6.5 and just been switched to o2 Simplicity tariff. I want to enable MMS on the TP2 and o2 says the phone is not supported but look at HTC site for settings. There are no settings I can find on HTC site so can anyone provide:
1. Does anyone have o2 MMS settings for TP2 phone
2. How do you enter these settings as it's not obvious looking through WM6.5
Thanks in advance.

start - settings - connections - connection setup
that should do it. well it does for me.

Biobas69 - thanks for your comments. I have WM6.5 still with the original Vodafone overlay in place so just going via your instructions will not work. I believe I know where you are suggesting I get to which is 'add a new modem connection' for either My ISP or My Work Network - is this correct and which one?
Also, are the settings for o2 MMS those readily available by searching the web? Or do you have a link to make it easier?
Thanks for any help. All other features are up & running. And expect to install vanilla flavour Win6.5 later.

Lost O2 Settings on XDA Orbit

Hi Guys, 1st post and maybe the worst?! I have just upgraded to the ARTEMIS TOUCH 2.1 WWE, and I forgot to save the File/Folder called O2 UK Settings, it had the O2 Ringtone and GPRS settings etc.. Could someone post a copy please. Many thanks, still finding my way round. V. Nice work though.
u mean these settings?
http://www.filesaveas.com/gprs.html
looks like all the wap + gprs settings for all providers in the UK
doesnt have the ringtone tho
No, I have seen this site on my search, I think what I am looking for was an actual programme that was found in the programme functions that took you to a blue screen asking if you wished to reset to o2 settings now.

Suggestion / Advice on 2nd Line on Schap's 4.22

All,
At first this is an awesome site to discuss and explore options and meet top people... recently I'm trying to get a 2nd line and trying to see the options which makes more sense both usage as well as cost effective.
I currently have at&t 8525 and upgraded with ultimate Schap's WM6 Pro 4.22 ROM, I highly recommend here is the link for http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=350690.
I'm planning on getting 2nd line the options I have looked is, chainging sims is out of option.
Option 1: Signup an additional line with at&t and put call forwarding to my current number, but the disadvantages are I'm sharing the same minutes and forwarding may add some more cost.
Option 2: can signup with viatalk/vonage voip providers and configure their settings on my phone with voip settings, but I'm not sure those setting will work on schap's rom and also I read somewhare these voip's does not work when you are on providers network like 3G etc.,
Option 3: Skype but it seems that I have to get skype-in and minutes to receive calls from outsiders and I have never used skype.
so what is the best options for me or anyone is trying some new ideas please share it with me.
thank you in advance...
Any 1 guys?
You can try dual SIM holders, there is a plugin for the dual SIM holders being developed here.
thanks for the replies, is there any good voip's that I can use with my 8525 with schaps 4.30 rom ?

T-Mobile Dash owner in the UK

Hi all,
Firstly I would like to say thanks for a great forum which has improved my experience of using this phone.
I have managed to upgrade to the most recent HTC rom though this website and have also tried out many of the other ROM's on my previous MDA Vario (HTC Wizard). So overall, I guess I am trying to say that I'm not a total noob.
However, the only problem I'm seem to be having is with my MMS & GPRS settings. I have searched the forums and entered in the UK T-Mobile settings for MMS & GPRS but I still cannot get it to work. I receive the message 'Error Synchronizing". I have also tried sending a picture message through the wireless internet connection rather than WAP but still to no avail.
I would appreciate any help or advice. (sorry for the long post)
BUMP - this seems to be a common problem reading through the forums ?
Does anyone have any adivce ?
try using the search tools.. i was browsing through the web e other time, i have seen somebody guiding the mms & gprs settings. will be posting the link again if i found it..
Thanks for the reply. I already used the search an inputted the settings from another post (cant find it right now) I also followed the user guide to manually configuring the gps & mms from the Handbook but no luck.
EDIT - MMS ISSUES FIXED by installing program in this thread

CRC 6.1 ROM issue with Telstra WAP site

HI, I am just starting out with the flashing of ROM's on my Telstra JasJam. I actually went to a Imate Ultimate 9502 and put the JasJam back in the box but after that failed and went back to Imate for repair, we all know how "quick" they are at repairs I pulled the JasJam out and went looking for a new 6.1 ROM for the JasJam.
I found CRC's ROM and flashed HardSPL before flashing, got CRC's 13.3 stable normal ROM on and all was going along great.
Issue I am having is when I go to the Telstra WAP site to access my Foxtel subscription I get a different telstra homepage. It is the old blue and white checker page that has icons down both sides. It is not the new homepage that has the icons with "free to browse" and "foxtel" tabs.
I installed the Telstra 5.5 cab and the My Place cab which didn't fix the issue. After a lot of looking around and reading I found the streaming URL for Foxtel and when I try to access it is says that my handset is not compat and to call Telstra.
It reminds me of the time back in WM5.0 when Foxtel first came out and the JasJam did not support it, it took an update to fix it.
So I am leaning towards a radio?? version issue maybe???
Can anybody help?
I PM'd CRC himself and he pointed me here.
Can anyone shed some light, had the same problems?
thanks in advance..........
I'm not sure of your exact issue, but it wouldn't be in the radio.
I'm guessing they might be using a proxy. My provider has a proxy to access their internal pages, and without it enabled it just never shows them. I'm on Cincinnati Bell.
Hopefully this will help you search, or someone using the same network will chime in.
Thanks for the reply.
Yeah Telstra do use a Proxy and you can set it either with their software package or via the network connections. I am doing this as without it you can't even get to the Telstra homepage.
Turn the proxy off and the Telstra homepage times out .....of course!!
But this is where my issue is, with the proxy on the homepage that loads is not the current one even though I am getting the http://wap.telstra.com/wap site via the "Telstra My Place"
Over night I flashed my spare JasJam, I purchased a JasJam off ebay for
"el-cheapo", its been abused but still works OK, and loaded the official WM6 on it. Put my SIM in and got straight to the telstra homepage where I can access the Foxtel website and the "free to browse" tab.
I can only assume that is has something to do with the radio.
Can somebody please explain the radio and how it works. I am struggling with this part as I am unable to find any good info on it.
cheers
The radio just handles the packets of information. It doesn't have anything to do with where the info comes from, or goes to.
Just like a different network card, or, network card firmware won't get you to a new web page.
I'm sure it's something to do with a network setting or proxy setting.
Hopefully someone on Telstra can chime in.
OK, so how do I understand 2 JasJam's with exactly the same settings via Proxy and network setup go to 2 different web pages?
I put WM6 on one and then insert my SIM, I get to the correct page when you browse the http://wap.telstra.com/wap and then I put CRC's ROM onto the other with WM6.1 and insert my SIM and then get to the incorrect site.
So I thought, as a wild guess, its the phone. So I did the opposite with flashing. I flashed the JasJam that had WM6 and was getting to the correct site with CRC's ROM and as I suspected I could not get to the correct site.
The error message tells me my phone is not compat with the service. I put the WM6 ROM onto the JasJam that could not get to the telstra WAP homepage and yep, it worked flawlessly.
It must be something to do with CRC's ROM, is there anyone else out there, PLEASE, that is on the NextG network and using CRC's 13.3 normal ROM and can get to the telstra WAP homepage that allows you access to Foxtel and the "free to browse" tabbed content???
Or anyone using one of CRC's ROM's, any version of WM6.1 that is working as it should?
Can anyone suggest a WM6.1 ROM that will work with Telstra Foxtel service?
Any help would be appreciated?
I know it all works on WM6.1 as I have, in the repair shop, a Ultimate 9502 that has no problems browsing the WAP site.
thanks again.........
Ahh, It might be something with the way the browser is reporting itself. That, I'm not sure how to fix. Might be able to use schaps advanced config to see what each of them are reporting, and try to make it match.
yeah I am unsure about that one. I installed Opera as well and get the same page.
This is definitely one for CRCinAU himself. I did PM him but he said to go to the forum. So far that hasn't been much help.
I searched for the other ROM you mentioned, schapp? I am not having much luck.
can you point me in the right direction for that, I'll give it a go and see what the differences are.
thanks for your replies. Seems that there are not many local users of the CRC 13.3 ROM on the Telstra network, or they don't use this feature and are unawares of it.
I ask again, if anybody can help with this one I would really appreciate it.
Can anyone tell me if they know of a WM6.1 ROM that is fully working on the Telstra NExtG network and able to use all the features provided by the "MyPlace" and WAP sites?
I cannot even look at any of the features on the WAP site, when you click on the icons to go to say, ringtones or movie info I get a web page error saying my hanset is not compatable. Very frustrating for such a lean, fast and app packed ROM!!!
cheers
Here is his xda dev post about it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=418151 but the download link seems to be broken or is down at the moment.
Here is my copy of advanced config http://www.filedropper.com/advancedconfigurationtoolv33
all kinds of settings in there, also, you should be able to load advanced config from crc's device update(should come in crc's rom).
I think you will find your answer Here you need to change registry setting for compatibilty issue
Regards
Thanks that fixed it. Exactly the issue.
Its funny I looked at that string before and tried a few different options but nothing changed. Knowing the exact string did it!!
Thanks to everyone who replied and thanks to CRCinAU for a very nice ROM, which is now working as I want it to.
cheers

Rhodium Email Problem

Hi Guys,
i tried to configure my Email settings on my TP2 (now unbranded HTC German Firmware Version 1.19.407.1 GER and Radio is 3.46.25.30).
So when i configured the settings from my web.de freemail account, and tested it, it worked for the first try, but when i tried it again, it always gives me a sync error.
I can choose between different Internet connections, but since i use a dataplan, i can choose between T-Mobile DE, and T-Mobile Internet.
The Problem goes for both connections, first call works fine, all other attempts give me a sync error....
Anybody got any solution to this problem?
Thanks in advance
