There seems to be quite a few TP2 models out there that all look the same but are different (meant for different regions).
I have a:
Touch Pro2 T7373 WWE
ROM 1.19.707.1 (51489)
ROM Date 5/15/09
Radio 3.44.25.27
My problem is that I want to get the official 6.5 windows upgrade for it from HTC's website. But I can't figure out if my phone is the Australian, Chinese, European or any other version.
When I launch Opera browser from Manila (TF3D 2.1.38158.2), it takes me to the "Asia" website. But when I try to download the upgrade and I put the serial number in, the website tells me that my phone is not supported.
Help me out guys...

Hey, the T7373 is the Asian version. The WWE European ROM will work fine. I used it on my T7381 with no issues. Cheers and good luck!

They call it the SEA (South East Asia) version. The website is www.htc.com/sea

Iv just upgraded the ROM ver. 1.60.00WWE to 1.72.01GER and then I understend that my translator to Russion version wont work with German ver. but i dont no how to change back the operetion or where I can find WWE version PLEASE HELP !!!
You have to look at the O2 or t-mobil-site of GreatBritain for example, where the standard updates will be for free, I guess. That's the way in Germany. t-mobil and O2 both have the update for 1.72-version for everybody for free on their websites.
Or you do the best way and take the translated version of the chinese actual 2.20, which you can find on this website. I use the version 2.20.t1 WWE. It is english and you have the WM 2003 Second Edition with all the good features.
Today (July 13th) is the release, curious if anyone got a copy, and if so, what language it is.
I've tried to register in HTC Asia website -- without success.
So, please, if and when the new ROM is published, someone, who has access, should immediately download it and transfer to one or more 'safe heaven' (Rapidshare, etc.)

OK, but it is a Chinese version. I would wait for an English one, since I am an European (Hungarian, more precisely -- but there is no HUN rom...)
I know from the Trinity forum that among the new WM6 ROMs, being published by HTC Asia, there is English version too (e.g. for Australia).

Hi to all. Ihave just been to the HTC website to upgrade my TP2 to WM6.5, but saw that there were 2 official upgrade ROMS. One was 1.86.414.0 and the other was 1.86.401.0
Can anyone please let me know which to use.

The meaning of the 3rd number so 414 for example, is the language of the rom. So they are the same, only different languages.
1.86.401.0 = Western Europe language version
1.86.414.0 = Finnish language version

I have probably very noobish question.
I got US unlocked version of US T-Mobile TP2. I wanted to localize to Czech or Europe ROM, but donwload from htc.com failed due SN and direct localization crashed during install...
Did I missed something? What I have to do to be able localize US WM6.1 to Czech WM6.5?

This serial will allow you to download the EU ROM from http://www.htc.com/europe.
You will need to HardSPL your device.

HTC Touch Pro2 (T7373): Does anybody have a valid Singapore serial number for this model that they could share with me? I live in Taiwan and bought this phone here last year. As only Traditional Chinese (CHT) language version is available in this market, the HTC retailer here installed the Worldwide English (WWE) language version of WM6.1 which I believe came from Singapore.
Now I am trying to upgrade to the latest WM6.5 (ROM version: 2.07.707.1), but still again, only the CHT version is available to download from the HTC Taiwan website. Therefore, I need a valid Singapore serial number for this phone model in order to download the WWE version from the HTC Singapore website.
Have already tried the serial number HT961L100031 that was previously posted on this site (06OCT09 – Active Stock HTC ROM serials) but it doesn’t work. Any help will be most appreciated!
