i don't know if this is where i should ask this, but here is my problem
i have a samsung I780 version XCHD1, with WM6, and i'm trying to upgrade it to 6.5...the problem is that mirage doesn't work(maybe i'm doing it wrong, most likely), and when i try to upgrade pda version it always says incorrect software version.
i'm noob at this, so if anyone here could solve my problem, well, thanks.

Dont know why but did a very stupid upgrade yestoday.I think I used a wrong MaUpgradeUt_noid.exe(XDAII version) to flash the wm6 rom for my imate.!!!
There is no bootloader now even I do a POwer+lighting+Softreset. I did a search on the site .I realized that I might damaged my bootloader . also I know it is hard to find a way to fix it by myself. but I 'm still hope someone do a favour!!!

Is the first time that i write in a forum, i'll try to explain my problem and i hope that somobody can help me.
I'm working in china and one day i lost my thelephone, so i decided to buy a PDA HTC P3300.But only after some day i saw that some thing was not working, so i'm tring to downgrade a new rom.
Here i had my problem, i followed all the details that i found on internet, also i took some informations and file from this forum to coplete the procedure like Hard SPL and so on, the problem is that when activesync is connected to the device i launch for example Hard SPL to upgrade it but after the program showed me the version installated and i said upgrade, i waited for a while and then the progam told me to check the usb connection (i tried whit 3 different cable) ERROR 260.The same thing happened when i tried to change the ROM.
CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE?? I NEED THE PDA ALSO FOR WORK.

Hard Spl??? For the Artmes?? Mate are you trying to brick your device cause it seems you are doing a pretty good job of it too,Hard Spl is NOT for the p3300 it is for the Hermes and Trinity which are two very very different models of HTC. Please make an effort to read the Wiki before you start messing with the phone.Try flashing the t-mobile stock rom FOR THE ARTEMIS(WITHOUT THE HARD SPL) and hopefully it may work also find out from your buyer if it is CID unlocked though i doubt wether they would know.
Check in Settings - Connections - USB to PC that the USB advanced network functionality is not ticked. That's caught me out in the past after making changes.
This is assuming that others in this forum are correct and you've not yet made a brick using the wrong model. Good luck!

but the rom that i found is HTC rom 1.12.405.101, and is not working on my artemis, i looked in my system and i saw that i need this ROM 1.13.110.101
wich is not downloadable form that page. (AM I RIGHT?)
May i know where i can find the rom T-mobile 1.13.110.101 ?
If i wrong some other things could you advise me.

Did you buy it in China?
If you bought the phone in China, there will be 2 versions. 1 for the chinese market (han huo) and the others are for other markets (usually europe) then flashed with the chinese rom (shui huo). As far as I know the chinese versions aren't locked and the foreign market versions musn't be locked either due to the fact that they have to put on the chinese rom

basically i am trying to upgrade my spv m3100 to black diamond 3.5
i have flashed the HardSPL to version IPL 1.04 and SPL 2.10olipro from IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.04 (HardSPL7) as instructed by the hermes guide website.
I am basically now trying to upgrade the radio to version 1.41.00.10: but when i run the ROMUpgrade.exe i am asked to specify the SPL i have, the Hermes guide website advised me to click auto detect, however when i press this i get the error message "Error, unknown version! you should pick SSPL"
please help as i dont know what i should do now, thanx everyone

The clincher is that it says "you should choose SSPL"..........but dont.......
select Bootloader 2.10 then tick the "is it HardSPL?" box.
This has been addressed a few times.

This is my first post here! I apologize in advance if the section is wrong. The problem here is that I have an I-MATE PDAL. I have been trying everything to "unhide" and Unlock the ExtROM.

It cannot be unlocked, but surely can b unhide.Pls search forum/wiki..the solution works..tested by me.before doing this, pls read the manual as how to hard reset, as u might like to do.

What ROM are you trying to flash?

HardSPL is a way to unlock your phone so that you can flash another ROM to it. If you don't run HardSPL then you won't be able to flash any other rom then the original one.
Plz start reading the links i gave you; i'm sure you'll figure it out as we all had to do at some point.
