Im sorry to have to post a new thread I am all about searching and reading I was just looking for a kickstart towards the animated backgrounds Ive seen clouds thus far where they move around the home screen.. I am running WM 6.5 on a T mobile TP 2 if thats any importance... Thanks in advance

Do I need to put this into a diffrent forum ive been learning here since my wing, tytn II, Hero but the touchflo is all new to me. Doesnt anyone have an answer?
You need to flash a cooked ROM with HTC Sense 2.5, unlike the 2.1 included in most stock 6.5 ROMs. Sense 2.1 doesn't support background animations, and you can only get Sense 2.5 in a cooked ROM.
And FYI, this forum is not HTC technical support and none of us are getting paid to be here, so it may take awhile before someone answers your questions. Just relax and wait for an answer, your thread has only been open for 3 hours so there's no reason to worry

Re: your question about your "signature". At the top of this page on the left under the title of the thread you'll see "User CP" click that. In there look down on the left hand side and look for "edit signiture" its about 8 levels down. In there you can write what you are running on your phone. That will give people a better idea as to how to help you.
Now, Regarding your question about animated backgrounds.... not sure I follow. what exactly are you looking for? Are you looking for animated backgrounds for your phone? Unless you have a rom running on your phone that is HTC sense 2.1 or any 2.5 (notice it's not a regular 2.1 but a SENSE 2.1) you wont be able to have animated backgrounds. Now, that said, IF you do have Sense 2.1 or any 2.5 rom running you can't just use any normal backgrounds in order to have the weather go across your screen. You'd have to use HDwall to make your jpg/png wallpaper a different file (the file that is compatable with weather wallpaper.) it does so automatically. Just take a look here HD Wallpaper Cab and have a read through.
Again you HAVE to have a compatable rom running on your phone. If you are running a stock rom odd's are it isnt compatable. I reiterate... it HAS to be sense 2.1 or 2.5.
Alot of the roms that are capable of this feature actually have a list of wallpaper options built in. I'm currently running the energry leo rom which is HTC 2.5. In there we have the option of a few weather backgrounds. You can check out the screen shot attached. You can find those roms in the rom subforum of the rhodium forums.

I work for Telstra and have been a wm follower for quite some time. However the rom released with the Telstra HTC HD has been butchered to say the least. The weather tab is gone and has been replaced by 4 different Telstra Tabs. The rom has telstra branding all over which is annoying and it also has a few known issues with lag and glitches. I like to for my good customers to have a cooked rom put on but they including myself miss out on things like foxtel on mobile and the bigpond portal which comes in handy some times.
So my question is is there a sepperate app that can be put on to allow foxtel or is there some sort of work around.
I know this question is only aimed at aussie users but any input would greatly be appreciated.

Yeah i had to same problem when i got my telstra hd.. hated it! so i have flashed it but would love to have the foxtel shortcuts in start. Im sure some fellas here could extract certain things if you provide them with a link to the official telstra rom..
if not i could try but aint guranteing anything! lol
i've never actually dumped my rom just got the phone out of the box the first day it came out and flashed half hour later so if someone does have a telstra rom post link please. I'd be willing to donate to whoever can extract.

Load the 15 tab cab
Guys, this has been discussed before. Simplest option is to load the 15 tab cab, it removes 99% of the Bigpond and Telstra stuff and gives you back the weather etc
that is a fix yes however the rom itself still has a number of issues and call me odd but i like having dutty's rom's on my phone. having searched on the blackstone forum i couldn't find anything. a link would be great.
My phone was bought for me by my employer so I don't want to muck around too much with things in case I stuff something up?
Will installing a new ROM void my warranty? Is this 15 Tab addon involve flashing?
All I want to do is get rid of all the Telstra crap and have my weather tab back. Should I just install the generic ROM update off the official website to keep my warranty?
adding a new theme will not void your warranty. If you do want to mucj around with the rom make sure you dump your telstra rom first so you can always go back to it.

Hi all not to sure how this 15 tabs goes ... gotta test it my self but i did find a cab install that called touch flo 3d for hd that installs on any ppc phone and when i installed it on my HD it restored the eather and stocks tabs and also the customising option while keeping the telstra stuff as well ... this is not the esult I wanted but it sounds like the one you guys need and you dont need to reflash, one thing though this is a pretty big file and it takes a wile to install so be patient ... dunno who developed it but thaks to that guy or gal who ever they are cheers. get the file from here - http://rapidshare.com/files/194374786/TF3D_HD.CAB.html
Hi guys just to quickly ask for some advice.
Im new to flashing my TP2 and have some awesome experiences, would just like to say thanks for all the chefs that take the time and effort to do this for us.
The problem i need help with so far i havent managed to find a ROM with the LEO home screen ( Time weather and 3 app/widget placements underneath) and the contacts using the thumbnails but that can also be used in landscape mode.
Ive tried so many ROMS now that im surprised i havent found a link yet to one that has these and is getting great reviews.
Any help given would be appreciated.

The Leo ROM isn't made for landscape since the Leo has no physical keyboard; as such, there is no currently existing ROM that has what you want.
Forgive me if this has been sloved, but I have searched for over a week and come up with nothing.
I have tried m9editor, HDWall, ThemeGenerator all with no success with regards to getting the same background on all the TF3D tabs.
It seems that all of these are designed for Manila 2.5
So, has anyone come up with a method or app for achieving this in the new manila?
A point in the correct direction much appreciated.
I do think that you are reffering in deed to Manila 2.5 instead of 3.0. As far as I know there is not any 3.0 out. But I am having the same problem with the last manilla version, mine is 2,5.19202525 and the fix that was created for old 2,5 is not working any more. When I have tried to install the all back grounds for all tabs I had to hard reset my device, because it was allocating some weird squarte close to the clock at the home tab. Therefore I am also waiting for any fix or any solution that could work for the last manilla version.

If you check the settings tab on Touch Flo instead, it should say something like:
About
TouchFLO 3D 2.0.37889.1
Which is what mine says. This means my touch flo is version 2.0 (from the 2.0.37889.1). Therefore, check yours and search the forums for this. You should also back up your data before trying any of them though as my experience is that these can sometimes mess up your today screen if you don't get it right!!!

that is correct...
what device do you have. i would look at ppcgeeks. they have a section for manila (aka touch flow 3d) tweaks and mods. let me know if you need anything. as i have all these files still just need to make a cab of them. are you on a stock rom? make sure you pm me as im very rarelt on xda anymore and finding this post will be difficult
by the way touch flo is the app that makes it scroll with your finger through windows or any app. and touch flo 3d is the interface that your using

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just upgraded from Fuze to Tilt 2 on AT&T. I'm an amatuer but managed to flash my old Fuze, load weather master, use TF3D config and manila customizer.
I'm having a hell of a ime trying to get what I need for my Tilt 2 fresh from AT&T with WM6.5. It locks up constantly and is a real pain.
I want to see the weather on my home page which doesn't show now. I want to be able to add weather locations as I did with my Fuze and Weather Master. I also need to flash ROM, radio, everything on this phone to make it better. I need some guidandce on what the best options for me are. Please help with some links to where I need to go. I know how to flash I just can't pick what I need out of all of this info.
What's the best, most stable Roms out here? Radios? Weather editors? TF3D configurations? I can't seem to get my old mind working.

The weather on the home page is not included with the stock Tilt 2 Rom. You would need to flash one. The "best" ROM is subjective. What is best for me may not be best for you.
I suggest reading up n the differences between Windows 6.1, 6.5, and 6.5.x as well as the differences between Sense 2.1 and Sense 2.5
Then, determine which combination would work best for you and pick a ROM based on that.

I'm old, I have one daughter starting college this fall and my 5th (yes I said FIFTH) GIRL on the way. Please have mercy on me. I rarely have time to do things for me so perhaps I give up a little earlier than I would have 20 years ago.
On to my next NOOBster question. Thank you Doinshots for your advice and that's really all I need. Last time I did this was with my Fuze when I joined this forum. I didn't seem to have any problems then but now I can't seem to figure out which one I should use and how to go about it. I will read everything and hopefully won't have to ask too many questions. Open forums are brutal!

Yeah, I had the same problem when upgrading from the Fuze. WAY more choices with the Tilt 2.

This is my first post on this forum. so I hope i'm doing it right.
I have a HTC touch HD with the most standarg TF3D on it (Version : 3.0 build 32567).
I see all the screens of what you people did with your phone and I like it a lot. So I looked and looked even more on the forum.
And still i can't figure out how to get a nice layout as you have. First I thought I need to find new ROM (Manila) But then I figured out I have Manila becouse it's TF3D.
I just totaly lost it. Can someone point me in the right direction so I can get a new look on my phone with the extra buttons and collorfull taskbar buttons?
I know it has to be found on this forum, And im not lazy to look (did that past week) I just have no clue where to start.
