I cannot get the WiFi to work on my ATT Tilt 2.
Any ideas? I can see connect to the wireless net point, but no connection to the internet.
Kind Regards,
Jim
I'm having the same issue on stock AT&T Rom..
I think I just found a workaround though.. Try starting Opera without wifi on, get it connected, then turn on wifi, go back into Opera and see if that works for you.. I'd love a better fix if there's any other workarounds.. For all my searching, I can't find it..
From my wifi

i've got the SAME problem as you guys. (Owning an TP2 device with WM 6.5)... the Wifi connects to my Router But I cant get any data from it when im using Opera OR Skyfire.. even though I got a full signal.
PS. I did however notice some weird stuff from the Ip-adress - witch were not correct given that my router is sharing NAT adress with "192.168.0.XX" and not 192.168.1.XX -Witch were given in my Htc device..
And according to my D-link Router, My htc device gets No IP whatso ever.. But it can be detected.
Any solution ??

See.. I thought I already tried that.. Just applied it again, and still no go.. Hmm..
Edit- nope.. still not working even after a reset.. I just hard reset this thing (stock AT&T) 2 days ago.. skyfire and pie are working fine with the wifi..
My above method is still the only way it's working..
Yup same problem here, I came across this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=621466&highlight=wifi+problems
and I guess if you update your Opera to a newer version it will correct this problem, but it seems to be alot of info there. Has anyone tried this?

Hi readers,
I got my Blackstone for a few days now. I know sorta how Windows Mobile works, because i had a HTC Touch ELF before. Now i installed Windows Live, and Skype. And i cant get any of them to work.
I searched a lot, and all said problem with proxy etc etc, but i dont got all that. Opera works fine, TouchFlow can get everything from the internet aswell, but my IM messengers are lazy and give errors.
I got T-Mobile NL, i tryed to put the connection manually with the information privided by T-Mobile, i tryed to let him autoconfigurate it, but all without succes.
I posted some screenshots, with the error, and how my internet configuration is.
I use Dutty's rom, but the origional rom didnt make it work either.
So, anyone with the same problem, or someone know a solution, pleace let me hear.

Hmm, hard question? Or do i ask a stupid one.
I somehow got Skype to work, but somehow Windows Live Messenger is irritating by balls of. It's still not working. Tryed to put 3G of, nothing, no proxy, no nothing. It must be loving to iritate me.
Ive got this problem too, i think the messenger only works with wifi...(at least that the only way i can get it to work).

I've had this little bug too, Messenger refuses any other connection than Wifi, or only 3G. There was a new version released not long ago, look here http://home.mobile.live.com/ and maybe the update will help you

Hmm, the link you provided i cant see any download link, tough http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505188 will link you to it.
And it works
Running AOKP build 36 and franco #162 at the moment and i keep getting this error shown below while using mobile data. it works fine on Wifi.
it seems to be an issue with the Vodafone UK network while running custom ROMS (ive tried AOKP and CM9), because using the stock imm76i image with the exact same APN settings and the videos work fine on mobile data. I have tried my three sim inside and that seems to work fine with no problems running stock and custom ROMS.
does anyone else have this issue and how did they solve it? gets abit annoying because i have to copy the URL link into the browser to be able to view the videos when im not on Wifi.

Having a few images missing here and there but not such a big deal... until today.
I noticed the computer was overheating and checked the task manager to find this:
12-15% CPU time and over a Gig used memory on several tabs (already closed in this image).
So I wandered what could be causing this, so I had a quick look under the hood to find this:
It seems the domain of the logo http://forum-lw-1.xda-cdn.com/images/2015/xda-logo_newcolors.svg is down or blocked.
Code:
net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
and both Chrome and Firefox keep trying to load it forever.
So taking that in account I used Hola to proxy my way around the problem and sure enough it worked!
I flushed my dns settings just to be sure that the problem wasn't on my side:
Code:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /registerdns
netsh winsock reset
Now I don't know if there is more issues with the pages I didn't debug the page since using a proxy resolved the problem for me but I urge the admins to look at this problem bot client and server side.
PS:I'm in Portugal

I've checked DNS, seems like all is working ok now: http://dns.squish.net/traverses/0b468a92af80738117500774a3a72e76
I don't know if this was just a temporary error on your end or what, can you check to see if this is still a problem?

Sorry for the late reply,
It seems that all is solved now, yes.
The only errors that I get now are these and they seem irrelevant.
It's weird because I saw the same problem a month or two before I made the post but now everything seems fixed.
Anyways thanks for looking into it.
Hi guys.
A few days ago I noticed that I can't see any other device besides mi box in the Mi controll app.
Anyone with the same issue?

I ever use this app either on miui or AOSP and never had this issue, try clearing cache and data and restart the app and if needed uninstall and reinstall it. The first screen you´ll have is "Add remote", then Mi TV/Mi Box and a second later they´ll appear all the other options.
Try to switch off wifi and data usage and then try to launch the app and see if it works

That's solved my issue, sorry for the ignorance.
Didn't knew it only worked with wifi off.

This is strange, try to update the app through Play Store, clearing first all data and cache. I ever use it without care that Wifi is on or off.

It did used to work as yours, I guess it started since last update.
I can't use with any kind of connection (mobile data or Bluetooth).
I have recently been having issues with Wi-Fi losing connection. I can toggle Wi-Fi on and off and it seems to come back for a while then disconnects again.
Also the Wi-Fi icon in the status bar has a small + sign in the top right corner of the icon. I've searched but cannot find out what this + sign means. Does anyone know or have similar issues?
Thanks

FYI, Ended up having to do a full factory reset. So far it looks like the problem was resolved. Wish there was an easier way but nothing else seemed to work.

What you could have tried is to factory reset the network settings (mobile and WiFi). Maybe it was solved without manufacturing everything.

Agreed. I did try to reset the network settings but it did not resolve the issue.
Greetings, I had the same problem and I tried a YouTube solution that seems to be effective.
Step 1. You go to the phone and enter the code, you look for the model of your cell phone in my case it is AT&T * # 546368 # * 820 #
Step 2. You go to Field Test.
He passed. 3 You enter Wifi Test.
He passed. 4 Click on the OTA Setting.
Step 5. Here first you give Disable and then Enable, restart and that
