Here are listed pros and cons, anyone who is interested in this version may have a try.
Pros:
1.manila works smoothly
2.A2DP sound quality improved noticeablely
3.GNES settings is useful
Cons(bugs):
1.manila will restart/freese/crash if i startor exit some applications. so i have to reboot the device.
2.qwerty keyboard has compatiability problem with mdict(dictionary application). when i start mdict to look up a word it will automatically repeat whatever i typed until i change the input methord.
still testing the rest application of this rom

Couldnt see changelog for RC2
I tried my first new ROM yesterday and it was Dutty's RC1, only problem i've had is that Manila randomly crashes, i think most often when launching a program or after the program has loaded it will then show loading Touchflow 3D (general splash screen, cannot remember exact words, but it crashes and loads itself)
There is a new folder/file on the root of the device called HTCLog with Manila_20081026_151719.dmp inside it, is that always there for a Dutty rom? Or could that be related helpful debug info?

This is a ROM I've recently cooked for myself.
It is based on the latest g77 base ROM port. Almost all of the packages are ported from HTC JADE. I thought that it would be wonderfull to use the latest versions from IOLITE but in my opinion the performance is greatly decreased.
This ROM is NOT FOR P3600i.
It is only for P3600 (although I will try to make it compatible).

It was not an effort at all so I decided to make four versions of the ROM: Full and Stock with Digital and Analogue Manila 2D.
The Stock versions are pretty much like the stock JADE ROM and will be shot in the dark because I don't have the time to test them. I will gladly receive feedback for them.
The RAM consumption is quite high, but this is because Task Facade and FTouchFlo are running while taking the screenshots. They can be turned of easily.
By default FTouchFlo is not included in the StartUp folder. It can be activate in [Start Menu]->[Settings]->[Settings]-[FTouchFlo].
If you want to disable Task Facade just go to the Windows\StartUp folder and delete the shortcut.
Any comments and recommendations are welcome.

Known bugs:
Issue: TaskFacade is causing serious memory leaks after a certain amount of time
Solution: Soft reset as a temporary fix. Remove the TaskFacade.lnk shortcut from Windows/StartUp folder and the button mapping from [Start]->[Settings]->[Personal]->[Buttons] for a permanent solution.
Issue: WiFi settings are not working
Solution: None. Unfortunately this cannot be repaired
Issue: Voice Recorder is not working
Solution: None. Unfortunately this cannot be repaired

Patch: DisableAutoTimeZone.cab will remove the automatic time and location synchronisation with the operator network (for those who experience problems with this)

Best ROM for trinity, so far. And i tried a lot in one year and a half. Maybe is a good ideea to make a Lite version with/without HTC Home.

I thought of making vanilla ROM ... but I couldn't decide what packages to include.
I can make it barebone ... I don't know ... including HTC Home would require changing all the Jade styled packages ... let me think about it.

I've built in the ROM a feature that sets the time and the location automatically from the operator network settings. Persistant location change after soft reset cannot be caused by any other thing.
I'll upload a patch in POST#3 disabling this feature.

Mass storage wont work fully using WM5torage. CAB files can't be transferred, only few types of files being able to. It say's the disk is write-protected, any idea?

I don't use wm5torage although it should be working.
There is nothing write protected in the ROM. Maybe you should try disabling "Enable advanced network functionality" from [Settings]->[Settings]->[USB to PC]. Maybe this will help.

QuickGPS not working!

I must say that this is really a fantastic ROM! For me, one of the best (or maybe the best) for our Trinitys!
But for me there's an important issue... QuickGPS doesn't work
(I have used this on other ROM's; This is the REAL Working QuickGPS posted in XDA)
Get 2 types of errors:
Opening ERROR: The file 'QuickGPS cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or none of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.
Notification ERROR: Cannot execute \Windows\QuickGPS.exe
Can someone help?

Lothinator's Clean 6.5 Vogue Rom V1.0 (build 21501) (Sprint)

EDIT!!: : This ROM is gone, removed the info about it since none of it applies anyway anymore, as the files have been lost and I no longer have a Vogue. Sorry for not updating this before guys.

Found first bug...
Titanium weather - I've been having hell with this plugin, sometimes it shows icons, sometimes it doesn't. It worked in my preliminary builds, but not in this build ....
So in the spirit of a CLEAN ROM, I will simply remove it in the next update so the latest version can be installed if wanted. (updated now)

I enjoy a nice, clean ROM on my phone, and then add anything I want to tweak from there. The benefits of a clean ROM like this include the fact that you won't have outdated versions of software you don't use built into the firmware after a hard reset, there are fewer apps to be buggy or running in the background, and you get to install JUST what you want to run. No screenshots because, well... This is Windows Mobile 6.5 and there's not anything special to see.
MEMORY USAGE: With 24mb PagePool size (This is with the Standard Version, UltraLite may have more free)
Storage Total: 150.35 / In use: 8.10mb Free: 142.25MB
Program Total: 116.93 / In Use 50.59mb Free: 66.36MB
(this is after loading my contacts with MyPhone & a few other minor settings changes, YMMV)
KNOWN ISSUE: For some reason, "Wireless Network Detected" is being set to the default sound on this ROM. This didn't occur until recently, and I'm not sure what has caused it. It causes the phone to beep every so often and you will certainly want to disable this in the sound settings. I am currently trying to research what is exactly causing this to be enabled.

Looks like it also built in my kitchen, here is the solution:
If you remove the opera mini lang folder, you remove these registry strings:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Keys\40C4]
@="\"\\Windows\\Start menu\\Programs\\Opera Mini.lnk\""
"Flags"=dword:00000000
"ResetCmd"="\"\\Windows\\Start menu\\Programs\\Opera Mini.lnk\""

"Name"="Button 4"
You all only have to replace the opera mini with your program and rewrite these strings. That's all, and the magic Button 4 will be back

Downloading the rom , would install and update the status.

thanks but i just found an easy solution without writing all those strings just go to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Keys\
duplicate one of the folders ex 40C3 and rename it 40C4
and inside "Name"="Button 3" to "Name"="Button 4" then go to Start/Setings/Personal/Buttons and
button 4 will be listed and you can assign any application you want

Rom issues
Hi Developer,
Again the same problem in the rom which i hate the most, it dosent has contact integration
in messages or mails and creates lot of problem when you try to send mail or message to many people.
Every time we need to go to contact select the name and comeback to the message.
Rom looked nice to me as i just kept it for only 30 mins, qwerty keyboard cab didnt work well as after selecting the diamond keyboard it used to return to the default keyboard.
Please try to intergrate the contacts in the sms/mail in your next Rom.

Hi j,
Are you not able to locate the contacts from your SIM? Is that what you mean?
If YES, here's what you can do:
1) Goto Contact, Menu -> Filter -> SIM contacts. With this you would be able to see all your SIM contact.
If you want to copy the same to your phone, then follows
2) Menu -> Select Contact -> All
3) Menu -> Copy contacts -> To Contacts
If NO, please help me understand the scenarion you are facing so that I can help.

Hello My Friend,
Recomendation well taken. Will cook it in the next release that I am preparing with the lasted build for WM 6.5.5[23563].
On the Youtube, does it become unresponsive OR does not start at all. If you can elaborate the issue, I maybe able to fix it sooner.

I believe this is M2D isssue. The same problem even comes is you are selecting a program for the launcher. Sometimes the selection disapperas. Let me see the newer versions have a fix for this.

So that you will have your local weather. You need to update your weather manually from your weather tab, and in about 15mins your home screen will update. If you want I can make a cab file with your weather information so u just need to install it and be good to go, just post your zip and city, or pm me your info and I'll post a cab for you. Clean, Fast, but a little more info needed from your install
1) Install Carrier Cab
2) Install MortScript 4.2-PPC
3) Install CDMA Weather Fix
4) Reboot
5) Install SMS Timestamp Fix
This is what I had to do for Sprint and I was getting an MSCR error on first boot until I installed Mort Script.
Otherwise, nice rom as far as speed.
Even though it is a 'Lite' rom - I'd definitely recommend adding
Mortscript 4.2
Advanced Config 3.3
PIM Backup - Latest

I'm looking for an even "lighter" lite ROM - I want to find one with as few programs installed as possible. I can install MyPhone, Marketplace, MyPhone, etc... Total Commander is about all I'd want pre-installed, so I can edit registry settings if need be.
Perhaps I should try cooking one, myself? doubtful.

I, myself, am a pure Titanium user, no manila. I keep it simple.

I like the manila with analog clock the most.Can anybody give me a link to a cab file?
Yes this rom is fast and I like it.But am missing the analog clock.
One annoying problem I am facing though.Everytime I reboot the phone,the mscr error pops up although I have installed tmortscript 4.3 beta 15.Is there any way to get rid of this?

I upgraded to the TP2 now, so my vogue cooking days are over. I'm not sure why that keeps popping up on boot up. I thought it was a mortscript error, but maybe it isn't.

I have bumped this because it is one of the best ROMs here, and my personal favorite.
