[REQ] Favorite "People" Tab (Maniila) - Touch HD Themes and Apps

it would be awesome of the peoples tab would allow the use of full names as well, especially if a photo is not available.
Something similar to the SPB mobile shell contacts page would be great. Maybe there is already an app availalbe which integrates with Manilla but my search wasn't successful.

Good thumb-friendly calendar app?

Can anyone recommend a good thumb-friendly interface to the WM calendar - ideally one which will integrate with the SPB Mobile Shell 3 calendar widget?
I've tried ThumbCal, both with and without the SPB Mobile Shell plug-in, but can't get the app to start reliably from the MS3 menu.
The standard TF3D calendar app is too fiddly for entering dates/times, as is Pocket Informant.
I've installed: GekoNewCal 2.0 works ok. i only want to have it opening when i select "New"
Is Thumbcal very unstable with Spb MS 3 ?
My experience is that Thumbcal is un-usable with MS3 - if you tap on the calendar widget it very rarely opens.
GekoNewCal looks interesting, but since it works for new appts only I'd prefer to integrate it with Pocket Informant. Does anyone know if that's possible?

TouchFlo 3d, as it should be.

Now I know touchFlo 3D isn't customizable (yet), but there are many difference's between the versions 2.1 and 2.5.
So what should TouchFlo 3D have? Since my immagination isn't so great and to keep it realistic my preferred version is a combination of what is available today:
Start screen with weather and apps/contact/bookmark/widget list like in TF3D 2.5.
The Contact list from the 2.5 version. Scrolling through you favorite contacts in the 2.1 version just isn't convinient.
The same message tab, but the message application from the 2.1 version. The 2.5 version has the option to instantly change you message in a mms. Also adding the contact you want to send it to isn't convinient. It comes up with email adresses. If I wanted to send an email I would have picked: write email. NExt to that the 2.5 version is slow when it comes to text messaging. (ofcourse the 2.5 version isn't ready yet).
Email as it is with both version. (in the email app, they should delete the wiping feature, because scrolling sideways is irritating have to press the "enable scrolling" text). Just put the option go to next/prvious message in the menu.
Calander app as in version 2.5. I noticed I didn't even use the other calander views then month and day, but the agenda view sometimes did came inhandy.
The internet tab should be as in 2.5, where you can see the preload pages, but it should work with opera. As nowe I am able to set opera as default, but the preload pages still don't work.
The weather tab is ok. I'd like to tap on the sepperate days and see the morning, day, evening forecast.
The music tab in 2.5 is great. The same for the media (video and pics) tab. But it's all just a bit to sloppy. It should be really fast to be convinient.
The stock tab, for me I don't use it. But it seems ok to me.
Ofcourse this all should work in landscape. 2.5 doesn't work very well in landscape.
One more feature I would like to build in is an easy way to make apps like twitter/facebook/gps navigation/office/messenger work withing TF3D. Each with individual tabs. Maybe you get to much tabs, but then there should be a way to make a second layer with apps. Like a messaging tab. When you slided over there a new slider comes a available with the general slider minimizing. There you can slide between skype/msn messenger/ twitter etc.
This would require a lot of memory though.
So what do you think?
What would make touchflo better? What features should be added?
the worst shortcoming of touchflo3d is that its desktop cannot be cusomized.
this is very pitty indeed, those designers are dumb....
I like your tab within tab idea. It would be great to have a PIM tab. Inside would be sub-tabs for calendar, tasks and notes. Probably just wishful thinking though. But anyway, I'm not terribly bothered with what we've got so far.

Dream Tabs

If you could get HTC to design any tab for you, what would you make it?
I'd like:
A Google/Bing Maps tab, which when selected goes full-screen into a map of your current location.
The same with the Reader tab - it if opened fullscreen to your current page, and allowed easy adding of txt files etc (I know there's the indexer program which does this).
A video browser which would just index the contents of e.g. My Videos, perhaps with ability to download DVD cover/details etc, and then launch whatever video player you wanted, (e.g. left softkey Coreplayer, right sofkey Album/WMP).
And of course, FaceBook tab!
Anyone else?
A real Tasks{Todos) List tab.
My dream tabs are:
1.) Facebook tab
2.) Widgets tab
3.) RSS tab
Facebook tab would be OK...
I definitely would welcome Tasks tab...that is something I use a lot and it is annoying to open the tasks app..
Facebook,
RSS,
Radio
That'll be top.
I wonder if someone will read this and eventually do something about it
it would be cool though if someone really did

Click to collapse
Second that!

[Q] S-Planner "location" share / navigate. Also different "note" app tie-in

[Q] S-Planner "location" share / navigate. Also different "note" app tie-in
The s-planner event "location" is great, but there's no way to share the map with another app; in particular I'd like to be able to navigate to the location. Any suggestions?
Also, the "notes" only gives me s-note as an available app... I'd love to be able to use a different app, such as evernote for the note portion of the event.
I realize that a different calendar app, such as Google Calendar, might give me these sorts of options, but the "see event title on monthly/weekly view" aspect of s-planner makes it a very attractive app.
Ideas?
UPDATE: I think I figured out that the Location can use "normal" map functionality (directions, navigation, etc.) if you enter an address instead of "pin pointing" a location on the map. I would still, however, like to know if anyone has ideas for how to get away from using s-note as the only note editor for s-planner. I've also installed CalenGoo... an excellent alternative that rivals s-planner in terms of functionality, but not as easy to use.

Question Multi tasking/window : which apps do you use?

Just curious if anyone uses the multitasking/multi window option, especially now in OneUI 4.1.1 / a12L. If so, which apps do you use together?
I must admit, excited as I was to use this when I first got the phone (and the updated version with the taskbar in the latest update) I keep forgetting to use it.
Most frequently I use email w/ contacts, email w/ calendar. In both cases I am visually transferring data or cutting and pasting. Sometimes it's a web page with contacts or calendar.
I use it occasionally, more often using the pop-up feature for the calculator and sometimes other apps like Chrome or Notes, but I've been using pop-up for years. The most recent time I used the multi-screen was two fold: Samsung Browser and Notes to make a list of good berm plants, bushes, and trees from a Web site that lists them after looking up what they each look like; and Samsung Browser, a photo app, and a share screen for saving some idea pics off the Pinterest site (not app) which you can only do by dragging the pic to the multi-screen and open it in a photo app to save it from there.
