Third party onscreen keyboard too small - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

I have an old dictionary program, meant for older QVGA screens and it's tiny on the WVGA of the Tilt-2. Is there any generic way to make a SIP screen larger, or is that the whole design of the keyboard?
Thanks

Changing the default on-screen keyboard on an SX66?

My SX66 has the ugly, old black and white on-screen keyboard with the square "keys". My friends Dell Axim x50 has a sweet on-screen keyboard with blue round keys that looks really nice.
Is this a custom "skin" that Dell made? Is it available via a 3rd pary product? Reg hack? Copying the files from the Dell to the SX66? =)
Just looking for some info. I would love to upgrade my current ugly on-screen keyboard.
I don't know about the specific keyboard you cite, but PHM's Pocket PC PowerToys has a couple of alternate keyboards, including a blank one if you prefer to use the SX66's keyboard or a IrDA/Bluetooth one.
Combine this with some registry hacks I found over at Howard Forums, and you can switch the default keyboard. If you did a little registry spelunking on your friend's Axim, you could probably figure out how to transfer his keyboard skin.
Thanks for the response and info but I looked around and figured out what I needed.

Larger Keyboard

Hi, after searching on this forum, I didn't found anything about how to install a bigger keyboard on screen so I can easily text SMS and e-mails without having to use the stylus
As I'm sure someone has already wondered if it would be possible, could you help me to find this CAB
Thank you very much
You can try Phone Pad.
google SPB Full Screen Keyboard
I use SPB Full Screen Keyboard - it is good but I would like to see a screen shot of phone pad.
try the forums for Happy tapping keyboard, its a bigger keyboard with an iphone skin thats ok for a child's fingers in portrait(most keyboards are like this) and alot better in landscape.....

Adding keyboard types

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if its possible and if so how to add keyboard types..? Ive found a rom that I like and seems stable with memory and tomtom etc but it only includes the standard keyboard which is tiny, the block and letter recogniser. Other roms I have used have the compact qwerty keyboard, the large qwerty keyboard which takes up half the screen and the phonepad keyboard which emulates a normal phone pad.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

TP2 keyboard not standard Microsoft layout?

I use a third-party Asian IME (input method editor) to display Asian characters.
This IME used to work really well with other phones, but with TP2, some of the symbols don't come out well.
For example, Fn+H comes out as "\", not ";" , and Fn+J comes out as "/" not ":". The latter problem is very annoying, because it basically prevents entering web address with the sliding keyboard.
When I raised this issue with the developer, they said the IME has worked with almost every PDA-phone, including Touch Pro, but the non-Microsoft standard keyboard layout of Touch Pro2 is keeping it from working properly and there is nothing they can do about it.
Is it true that the keyboard layout of TP2 does not conform to some kind of Microsoft standard?
If so, is there any way to fix it?

Nice!! !! =)
Really nice! Great improvement! I just have one suggestion to make. Give an option to remove the bottom bar with the five dots signifying the five screens. Wastage of screen estate, really, after a while. Other than that, cannot find anything wrong
This is bloody fantastic!!! Must be made with HD2 in mind, because this beats any other keyboard I've tried. Huge improvement over version 5. It's like the standard HTC keyboard, but with improvements that makes it now at least as good as the iPhone keyboard. Thank you!! Looking forward to the final version!
What features are disabled in this beta version? It says that the full version has even more...
Any way to get screenshots of this?
in portrait mode is the best keyboard ever tried.. but in landscape mode the keyboard don't extend in full length..it remains in the same size ad portrait? is it normal? btw i repeat..in portrait mode in way better than every keyboard tried..
tested on HD2

Same here, the keyboard changes to landscape only if I open the Input-Menu and re-chose the Resco keyboard. Then it's landscape but it stays landscape even when the screen switches to portrait. It stays like this until I re-chose the Resco keyboard again.
Apart from this bug, this keyboard is very good to write on!
Tried on HD2 with WinMo6.5.x
Is it a,bug or a limitation? I think it's fantastic!
thanks works fine on omnia i900. i will love final and full version
- Like mentioned above, Landscape mode is buggy on HD2. Have to reselect Resco Keyboard when switching mode. And when I write SMS, the Landscape keyboard covers practically the entire screen, so you're not able to read what you're writing. I hope this is a bug which will be fixed in the final version.
- Even though I select it as the default keyboard, not all programs respond to that. Most programs do, like SMS, Opera, etc., but some programs revert the default keyboard back to standard, and I have to reselect Resco again. Really hope this is a bug that can be fixed as well.
Otherwise, still loving it
Thanks, just testing it now..

this keyboard is great!
its a lil buggy with the rotation on the HD2 though..
i wish the dots could vanish..its just taking more space..
glad i downloaded this~!
and please add options to override the wm bottombar to save some spaces
I'm having the exact same bugs that BlueLux is describing on my HD2.
I really hope that you guys at Resco can do something with our feedback, because this is so much better than the stock one (at least in portrait mode), a decent keyboard like this is exactly what the HD2 needs!!
same bugs mentioned.
Would love to have cyrillic support. Probably a button to change language layout .
nice work
great software! fantastic keyboard! what i need now is hebrew support and its perfect! good work.
so far so good on diamond 2 with WM6.5.5 Build 25659!
I only use portrait and it's fast an nice !
Only little thing is like fingerkb you have to backspace to get contact suggestion when typing sms/email... ezInput show it while typing... i think it's better even if might be slowing typing a little bit if you have a lot of contacts
Great work Resco team (as usual)
best keyboard ive used but option for phonepad would convert me from touchpal
Best keyboard!
Minor buggs,
Rotation and Scale, Landscape
Nice to see this is beta, im sure this will be used of all hd2 users
When all buggs fixed
major bug
if you type too fast, then the keyboard will swipe...its a bit annoying but never have I felt comfortable typing so fast on an onscreen keyboard
finally
is it possible to have a better predictive text engine like the x2 keyboard??? if resco changed those minor bugs I'd actually use this and buy it
