Change Phone skin

How is it possible to change the phone Skin?

I've used some the skins from http://www.paulya.com/diallerskins.htm. Just copy the cab file to the device and run.

Any one know the way to change the dialer skin like eten skin for windows mobile 2003

I've tried that, OK it works...
But when i uninstall it i don't manage to recover the original HTC skin (background is missing).
Can you help me ?

These skins are all very nice - but I'd rather just have bigger buttons for my fairly average sized fingers.
Any suggestions ?

just install the cab file I attach.
I use it in my Artemis and like it very much. If you don't like you can uninstall and will regain the original (HTC) dialer skin.

Is this an Eten smartdialer?

its the best working skin for artemis.
icons of call history works perfect.
the only problem that i have is that when i'm on a call,the white letters of the person that i call and the duration of the call going to a deep green color that with the gray backround its hard to see it.
does anyone know something?

Yes, I have the same problem but I can live with it. Try asking webpatrick to change the letters' colours - if you are succesful I will apply it too!

Very nice and thanks for sharing! I love it and it makes dialing much easier with my big fat thumb now. Where did you get it and are there other color schemes or will it change with the theme or Uniskin color?

So Jimmy's dialer is HTC-based and not Eten based? Does that mean it doesn't have the Data problems where data connection stays open like Eten?

Looks good thormdac! - you cant make separator lines transparent - but i made lines nearer match to grass color to try

In the Analog section of the skin.xml (open using notepad) -
Add the following :
<Secondhand color="RGB(153,153,153)"> </Secondhand>
You can change the color of the hands by changing the RGB color codes.
I did not keep this as it requires constant refresh of the today screen - to keep the second hand upto date with the actual time. The hands are fine a refresh rate of 1000 will do fine - but for secons you will need to keep atleast 100 to sync with the actual system clock.

HTCplus plugin is not showing up in the Todayplugin List - altough, the HTCPlus! tab is there. Tried 2 other versions which are in the forums - doesnt work.. the HTCImgCodec.dll is installed

Take a look @ dial with style, dowload one of the .cabs look @ files used, then take the files from Rose needed and .cab up for other ROM.

ejoya made a cab for the blackjack i607. give him a jingle, maybe it will work on the excalibur too? if he doesn't have the cab any more, let me know and i'll upload it.

I need to know what the file is used in standard ROM? Then i can correct it to overwrite the file.

ill upgrade my dash to the nrg rom and get the files im just experimenting the dash cause i switched my phone

hey dermann..it works but the bottom is cut off a bit..maybe because of the 96dpi not sure. maybe someone who doesnt have it can try

glad it worked for ya. i don't know about the 96 dpi, i don't use that it makes everything to small for my eyes. ya someone should let everyone else know, if there having the same problem or not.

Once again my man comes through with flying colours!!
Will see how it behaves on my BJ II i-617, as you mentioned Dermann in your email, you never had any issues with it mis-behaving for you on Ejoya's Bogart 6.1 Roms, and your beloved BJ I- i-607...lol
As I am utilizing the black_bar scheme, (with grey colour theme), this should look great!
Oh well, I won a 'moral victory' in finally locating the file for D/L...lol
Unfortunately, it did not work on my device...no biggie as applied a 'alpha-dial cheat sheet'. cab which overrides the semi-ugly AT&T branded graphic on the top....
So I can either utilize the 'cheat sheet' or turn 'vanity dialing' option on...they both serve their purpose, and I have a slightly more 'reserved gui' here...lol

He might mean something similar to what I did (just for fun btw).
*Extract the manila file from the CAB
*Renamed it according to the SETUP.XML file (also contained in the CAB)
*In the folder MAXTTM\COMPONENTS create a new folder \CLOCKS
-so you end up in MAXTTM\COMPONENTS\CLOCKS
*Create a folder named after the clock you want, I chose the Tag Heuer so I have the following folder
-MAXTTM\COMPONENTS\CLOCKS\TAG HEUER
*Place the extraced & renamed manilla file for your clock in the folder you created
*Start Max TTM
-In the Customize tab, choose "Clocks" from the components
-Choose the clock you just placed in the folder
-Deploy

forget about the hands now, we need the background, circular,no hands. I will make the main clock and see about the hands later.

Theme Windows 7 in throttlelauncher port HVGA released 2011/02/04

Here I post some hubs ported to HVGA resolution, for who wants test theme W 7 over throttlerlauncher. It´s works very fine in my Mini and looks great!!

I only skin the hubs for works in our MINIS.
1st: install throttlelauncher 1.2.1: http://throttlelauncher.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1517
2nd: install the theme original by fireslave
3rd: copy my folder over the original
My folder includes the current Hub skin to HVGA, some tricks and workings: CLOCK, Taskmanager, Weather; calendar and office.
Here some picture in the MINI.

Now I resize the next: 1) Pictures: resize the pictures pages, for bigger images and the background always black (just for fun and because I can see better the captures) 2) Music: fix volumen button 3) Games: I change for black bacground on tiles. 4)home screen for see the clock and battery over the taskbar.
Note: Install first version 20/01, and after only if you like the version 04/02 the hubs or page that´s you want.

I would try first with the original (without) my folders, and then test if work´s fine.
Then try added of one. Really must works like I said in first post, but all it´s possible.

No, but is recommended disable el Sense (with cookie o without it) when use throttlelauncher because both use much ram memory. Throttle less than sense.
If you have problem with the original, may be is better that´s you ask in this forum. Good Luck.

Slide to the left (the home screen) touch setting, slide to the left and select Accent color. Good Lucks

thanks garmin2! i installed this and it worked fine.i really like it a lot! i have only an issue....my tiles ( for example the clock) doesnt fit perfectly! i can see only the half of the "%" symbol! more over when i go to the settings then i can see only the top half of the fonds... i have problems with the calendar and the music player too.i uninstalled this once and after the second installation i tried to open it without your files in! what i mentioned is that there is no difference! am i doing something wrong or is this normal??
p.s i am writing from my Mini!

The throttlelauncher until you found the correct combination of widget is so unstable, but after a few days with the widget, begin to be stable like sense.
For example, I don´t use the people hub, only use some contact like hub, because like the people hub use too many resource, for me was unstable.
The % is a problem of resize (i only have the problem with 100% but no less), there are not enough space, but I will try to look it´s better. In a few days I will posted a new folder with some improvements, like in the weather page background skin, and see the map. Actually the mapspage appear blank, but I find a solutions, and other minor bugs.
The calendar and the music hub are the original I don´t do any modifications about this, so the problem is the unstable of throttle. May be you must insist until be stable. Believe me, is posible begin with less hub and add to one for time.
Uninstall and install until you get it. Good lucks

i have the same problem, and i found the way to solve it. just use yr computer to download and extract the windowphone7_2.rar ( or all the file if you want ), then copy to yr mini.

With this theme, the tiles titles are bad ( with segoe police installed ) why ?
When i copy your folders over the original, throttlelauncher is started but nothing appears !! Only agrey screen and two buttons at the bottom.

Is strange, I don´t know why this happens, but sometime the throttlelauncher is so unstable. I would try with the original, and then copy the hubs on at a time, and test, if work fine backup folder: program files/throttlelauncher, and after add a new hub and so until install all.
In really the problem are not my folders, is the throttle (I only resize to HVGA and minor tricks. I would leave by the end the weather hub, because this need update until run and sometimes have problems.
