I used the Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5_183HSPL for my Topaz device and work successful and install new ROM 6.5 then my friend give me his Topaz to do the same .Now I can't do the same there's masege appear ( Spl in not for commercial used........) the dice doesn't accept the official room also ??
then my friend try again in his PC but nothing work Please advice and help to fix this problem

Maybe your friend does have a chinese copy.
Take out battery and compare if the stickers are the same on both phones
both are same Made in Taiwan

I did succesfuly upgrade my PDA2K (Blueangel) from wm03 to Wm05, the question is: in order to get good Arabic support, which rom version should i use knowing that i dont have an ext rom version currently running on my device, add to that real player isnt working properly on my device.

@ bakhour: imaginate arabizer seems to work with Ivan's rom, but from what I read on arabic sites, upgrading + arabizer some times causes stabuility problems, I prefer not to upgrade.

Dears, I downloaded the WM5 for my PDA2K from the subject of Lt.Cmdr.Ivan (thanks to him) and it is working just fine in English (I hanven't tried all functions yet).
I tried all difrent versions of Arabic even the one that comes with the ETen, please see the attached files I found suitable (even the Arabic Keyboard looks great).
Please try WM5_PDA2K_Arabic1.ZIP first, if it does not work then try

Dears, after more testing, I found this with PDA2K:
(Logout_WM2K5_5.4.03_HN) is VERY fast and reliable.
(Helmi_WM2k5_AKU3.2_32mb_v1.3.1) is fast, reliable, and looks great.
For Arabic use:
IMAGINET Arabizer Suite2 B342
The PDA2K should work just fine, but the Activesync still got some issues, thanks to My friend Life Dream from ce4arab.

Ahmed, I'm from Egypt too.... (and my name is Ahmed as well).
I seemed to have found a lot of programs for arabic support for touch screen pocket pc's but not for smartphones like the cavalier, do some searches online, maybe you'll get lucky!

I don't know of any rom that supports Arabic for our phones. Kinda sucks.
Did you buy your phone from Vodafone Egypt (only ones that sell it here) or from overseas unlocked like I did?
Because if you bought it from Vodafone it should already support arabic.
The only other thing I can think of is if you go to the official agent for HTC here in Cairo,

They are actually very professional and may be able to help you. I know for sure they can change your board and it would have arabic, but that would be pretty expensive.

yes i bought it from vodafone Egypt
but it stil doesnt support arabic although there is arabic letter printed on the bttons itself ... thats wierd ...
the thing i noticed today is that on my phone box the Stars-Suite logo is printed on it .... stars suite is an arabizing suite ... still lookin 4 it
but maybe i should give HTC a visit so i can see wut can they do 4 me

I originally bought one from Vodafone, but I couldn't unlock it to work on mobinil, tried websites, abdelaziz street, everything, and no one could unlock it, so I returned it and bought it from overseas.
Definitely give JOVITronix a call or a visit, maybe they'll help!!

guys i am new with my i-mate jasjam(herm 100).. and i had a problem with my sms service. i was not able to send sms with any sim card. so i installed some titanium edition wm 6.5 rom(previously i had wm5). and when i sync it with my pc i found that it was a trial version and it expired now giving me a white screen written
"this concludes the beta test of this software release. thank you very much for your time and effort in helping make this a great product for our costumers.

now i am not able to access any thing on my i-mate. even active sync is not able to synchronize with the pc.
i only want install a good windows(rom) in it. so can any body help me with this problem of mines in easy way.like giving me a direct link to official rom and instructions to install it,,,

found the solution but still need help
i got the solution for expired version from another xda thread. hard reset did the job.
but i still need a official rom.wm 6 or latest.if dont than atleast please give me some link for wm5 official rom. i dont want to play with roms just give me a rom with which i can use my i-mate jasjam peacefully and also i can send sms to my friends... please help me thank you!!

Use this. It's a cab file so just install it, then run the program. Use your current network.
What happens sometimes is the proper settings are not set up, so you end up with your situation.
need that apllication for wm6

i tried that software but it is not displayed any where, while installing it gave an caution that it was designed for previous windows.
so i got the name of it (i;e htc your application name). ill search for it on net for wm6.
