looking for weather tool...

I did a quick search and couldnt really find anything simple enough. I am looking for a weather program thats basicaly just weather, plain and simple. I have a WM6 T-Mobile Wing. Please help and Thank you.

There are quite a few weather apps out there for PPC. One is called Marsware Weather Panel, which is a today screen weather app and a favorite for a lot of people around here. Another one is called weather watcher which is fairly decent as far as weather programs go, but it doesn't have a today plugin and if I remember right it only updates over activesync and not through GPRS although there is a newer version out since the one I tried and maybe they've added that ability. I was wondering wich weatherapplication that is the best, and with most info and also has a nice screenresolution?
I have installed SPB Weather, but is there any other that is better?

Hello,
I think it depends strong on what you need (as allways):
SBSH Pocketweather if you need really informative, reliable, complete, very skinnable weather informations( skinning is not necessary, just try first standard skins).
SPB Weather if you like a great user interface and a real gimmick but no in depth weather information
Weather radar shows only US weather radar...
GPS enabled weather radar for Australia

As a pilot, I use checkwx.mobi because it gives very detailed information. Just learn the airport identifier of your closest airport and you are good to go.

which Weather app with home screen widget ?

which Weather app for android is most accurate? and have beautiful real looking widgets?
earlier with HTC handsets I used to get proper weather updates, like when the handset shows rain from the window i could also see rain. it was HTC's in built widget.

Try Chronus. I've been using it for years now, it's definitely my favourite. There are a few paid features but the free widgets are great. You can select from various weather providers to chose the one that's most accurate for your location. Accu Weather is best for me. Try the Chronus Flex widget. it's one of the included free widgets and works perfectly.

found NOAA and Weather Live to offer the most accurate forecast (in terms of temperature) so far.

The best for me is HD Widgets. Its beautiful, you can customize and and widgets in a way thay you want. And accuweather provides correct weather

Just search for conky in Playstore or Google. KWGT is a good widget engine where you're able to create your own widgets, maybe there are similar widgets like Conky - if you mean Conky for Linux.

Calendar Widget missing in LineageOS 17.1

Hello,
with LineageOS 17.1 there is no weather and calendar widget any more.
For the weather widget I found some possible alternatives. But is there an alternative for the calendar widget instead of installing an additonal calendar app?
And if not, is there any open source calendar app inclduing a widget you can suggest? Currently I have installed simple calendar via F-Droid. It's okay, but very different to a real "simple" calendar widget. :cyclops:

No cLock widget. The original developer is dvtonder.com having chronus on play store

Thanks, but the calender widget from chronus is not open source anymore and you have to use google play store. I'm searching for a very very simple basic calendar widget as in LineageOS versions < 17.1.
Perhaps it's too simple
