Is there any cab around of a non personalized Manila 2.1?
Manila is not installed through a cab
You need to look for a ROM with Manila 2.1 and without any personalization.
I would suggest Topix 3.1.2 (wm6.1) or Topix 3.2 (wm6.5), they are pretty clean (atleast in the cosmetic department ) and very fast!
It's a great rom.
But actually I have this problem
I need an Italian Rom.

You can change the language of Manila in the registry, it will only change manila and not wm, but it should help .
The registry u need to change is: HKCU\MUI\Curlang
google around to find the code for italy

I been searching on the forum for mths,i still do not know the difference btw new manila and old manila or Manila V3? Is the new manila a cooked version? Is it specified to some roms or default htc HD TF3D is the new manila? Someone help plz i am so confused! He answered you question, some new programs are added (new Contact Manager, HTC Zip tool and more), some exsisting programs are updated. Also the new TF3D seems smoother. If you run the old TF3D I would highly recommend you to upgrade to for example: Dutty's 2.9 RTM ROM (this has the new TF3D included).

no, there is no installable update of manila. the only thing is to install some of those modules (e. g. the notification manager, the new camm manager etc.). But most of the modifications are only available if you flash a new rom

This files are tested with [ROM][WWE][22.08.2009] Miri WM 6.5 23017 :: MANILA 2.5 :: REV 7.1 [ONLINE] and working good. I think they are working with all other Manila 2.5 Roms as well.
Update: New cab for the latest Manila 2.5 LEO

does anybody know, how to change the slider icons? i mean i know it is possible but i don´t know the way to change them. the cabs which can be downloaded are great but i would love to have my own icons.

use manila editor to find the manila files you want to change. save them as png's and edit/replace them in any paint program with the ones of your choice.
do a search for manila editor

I do not use Manila 2.02, but after changeing from 2.1 to 2.5 I have to modify initflashfiles.dat and includ additional ackages to get manila working fine.
