I am desperate..
I spent searching a lot and I can't find a solution.
I want to use transparent slider and slider icon from C07 but I still have the bottom curtain and it is ugly.
How can I get rid of that on Manila 2.1 with weather clock?
If anyone has cab or a way to do this please let me know.

Yes and i know what u need.
I dont have this CAB but i remember that befor few weeks i do it on my Manila 2.1 Sense i delete the file and i can`t give you this but i know WHO POSIBLE have this done.

First to avoid the confusion, I'm NOT looking for the transparent curtain in TF3D, im not using TF3D.
I've got many nice wallpapers for today screen, however, the top (the bar that contains: start button, network signal, battery icon) & and bottom bar (2 soft button) make this unpleasant.
I've searched around and came across SkinMobile 5 & VJToggleToggle/Today ... however, it looks to me like they don't support WM6.1, nor WVGA.
SkinMobile5 v1.1 is what i tried, and it doesn't provide transparency, and has to be run in background
Could any one offer me a solution to make these bars transparent so I can see my wallpaper fully?
I thought these should be some png files that I can set transparency to?

I've been trying to modify one of the Pocket PC Themes (a .tsk file), but unfortunately couldn't find no transparancy options for the top & bottom bars as you indicated ...
I used Netswap ThemeMaker X (TMX) & Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 Theme Generator.... Perhaps there is an advanced software somewhere that could actually help...

Never got a chance to try it myself but looks promising
Give it a try but start from here
It will work on WM 6.1 & 6.5 + any Manila version
It may be possible for WM 6.5 with MaxTTM, but not for WM 6.1, MaxTTM can only change the icons of the taskbar but not the transparency. Hope someone comes out with an answer for the transparency - ( please note that the transparency is required only for the taskbar and the command bar - not the taskbar icons nor the softkeys) - Thankyou.

Nope...
use hdwall just use the search function or:
1. Take your wallpaper
2. creat to new pngs one called mysoftkeybar.png and the other mytaskbar.png or whatever you like. (480x52 Pixel)
3.put the top of your wallpaper first 52 rows (sorry for my english) in the taskbar.png and the bottom 52 in the softkeybar.png.
4. Copy theme into \Windows\ folder
5. Edit the registry entries:
\\\registry\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Softkeybar\SoftKeyBarImage
to your pngs
same for taskbar
and reset device.
but i highly recomend to use hdwall much easier
oh i neary forgot your wallpaper image should now be 480x692 pixel's for the normal today (crop of the bars)
for manila use the normal wallpaper

I'm not sure, I don't have a blackstone anymore so can't try. You can always install and if it doesnt work, uninstall, it will be fine.
The 4 cabs are different options.
You have the neon tabs with the standard slider / bottom curtain
neon tabs with transparent slider and standard bottom curtain
neon tabs with standard slider and transparent bottom curtain
and neon tabs with transparent slider and transparent bottom curtain.
Take your pick

Yeah, thats something I'm working on. I think its the way that it does the glow around the outside, photoshop isn't my speciality!
Usually from what I've read when using a colour to blend into another, you need to specify the colour it is merging in to so that you get a nice clear and crisp merge. As the merge on this is going to a semi transparent background, I got the icon to merge into transparancy, hence got this problem.
I'm experimenting with it as we speak, so hopefully should have a solution soon.

Ah now I get it, its really not setting it to transparent but the wallpaper itself uses a design like it...means you have to set up your wallpaper everytime. Thanks.

And just a tip, you cant uninstall the very first cab. Clock is left transparent and the icons for the tab are retained. Hard resetting now.....

There is a little bug on Sense 2.5.I've made some changes.
For the taskbar and softkey bottom bar,I use the HDwall to make them transparent.
some nice mods there mate. I've used the one to get a transparent slider tab thing, the one that looks like it's leaning forward. But does anyone have a mod to stop the icons overlapping? so the tab is transparent all the time even when sliding?

ok, I am putting together a Themed ROM (WGY26wcfs). Got all the png's and fonts I want/need. Thing is, the text is black on the title bar/status bar at the top, kinda hard to see it with a black background...
So, where do I go to change the color of the font used for this location?

Search in the Android Themes section for colorchange.jar. This simple app will do what you need (you need to edit .dex files in the framework). PM if still have trouble.

Either check you what I said above, or watch for my new Blue_Haze ROM which will be a modded version of OE with a black bar.
Hi! Can anybody tell me how to adjust the size of the task bar and menu bar on my TP2 (WM 6.5 stock rom from Sprint)? I want to maximize the Rhodium's big screen when I use Word Mobile. The task bar and bottom bar makes the screen look cramped when I write emails in landscape mode. I've been looking for a registry tweak or an application which could do this, but I have'nt succeeded yet. I have tried Advance Configuration Tool but it did not work. It would be nice if there's a taskbar and menubar that would not occupy that much space, probably just an icon on four corners for some functions like the Menu, Exit, etc. Or a minimizable taskbar.. I'll appreciate it if someone could give me links.. Thanks for reading this!
