Change default SMS app - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

I know this answer is out there, but I can't find it now. What is the registry key to change which application (WM or HTC) opens when you tap a message from the message tab in TF3D?
Thanks
EDIT: Found it - not a registry. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3771519&postcount=2991

Registerkeys for the "mail/internet explorer" butt

I would like to change the path of the registerkeys for the "mail/internet explorer" buttons on the hardware keybord.
Anyone find them in the register?
Is this what You need ?
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\OEM\Keybd\PieHomePage
regards,
Ruud
Thanks for your reply.
That key is for changing the default homepage.
What i'm searching for is the following;
I have Opera as Web Browser.
When i push the internet button automaticly the default Browser (PIE) starts.
I would like to change the path of that key to the Opera browser.
Thesame for the mail button.
I would like to change the path from the default application to the programm i use.
I found in \Windows\AppButtons about every link for the buttons to start applications.
However mail isn't there.
If I take the Iexplore link en change its target in the properties to \Storage card\Program Files\Opera opera.exe it still doensn't work.
Not even after a soft reset.
Thats strange because the link in \Windows\AppButtons is indeed now opening Opera correctly.
I'sn't this \Windows\AppButtons related to the registry?
If not, this map doesn't make any sence to me.
Am I the only person who likes his Iexplore/Mail button to directly open the program I use instead of the default one?
I'd like to change the IE button to open Windows Media Player (I use it more often, so it makes sense to me)
So if anyone knows this, that would be grand
if you have t mobile rom NL
if you have t mobile rom NL this is the solution
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FavoritesEntries\T-Mobile Favourites\url
this is the reg file to chance the home page
goodluck!
I too have been wanting to change teh Mail and Explorer.

Text Messaging softkeys after change to WM6

With WM5, the softkeys were
Left softkey: New (text message)
Right softkey: Menu
after upgrading my Cingular 8525 to WM6 it is not that useful:
Left softkey: Delete
Right softkey: Menu
In effect, to create a new message I need to select Menu and then New.
Is it possible to assign New to the left softkey?

Nope, not if your talking about in the messages screen. You can, however, set a soft key on the today screen to New SMS.
this has been a problem since the leak of WM6, search around, can't remember if theres a solution or not because it doesn't bother me that much, most of the time i'm replying to texts.
Take a look here, and here.

Thanks for a quick answer. I have no idea why Microsoft decided that the typical action when going to Text Messages would be to delete a message and not write a new message. You may store hundreds of messages without noticing a dent in the available memory.
How to create a shortcut from the Today screen to New SMS or reassining one of the softkeys to this function?

Use softkey changer (attached). If it gives you the error "missing file tnsms" then drop the attached corresponding file in ur /windows folder.
Kiitos Karhu and thanks mcorrie1121. I will test your solutions.
The SoftKey.cab from the link in Karhu's post is the only thing needed. One item on the list of commands to assign to a softkey on the Today screen is "New SMS". Works perfectly.
If you do not mind one more tap you can also use WM5 New Menu - provides more options than just new SMS.

if
you mean the soft key in Messages Tab in TouchFLO
then
search for and try SSMaPa
this allows you to edit what applications Manila/TouchFLO uses

Change SMS app pointer in T3FD

I installed SMS-Chat as a replacement SMS application for the default WM6.1 app on my Touch HD. I am looking for a way within the TouchFLO Interface to be able to lauch SMS-Chat instead of the default SMS application under the message tab, when I click to either read the a SMS message or write a new one. I installed SSMaPa - but that doesnt let me change the SMS application pointer.
Appreciate any help or pointers.
Thx.

How to change shortcuts on the bottom of the several Tabs WM6.1

Anyone knows how to change the shortcuts on the bottom of the several tabs on WM6.1 with TouchFLO 3D 2.1.
I need to change the "All People" on the People Tab and the "Album" on Photos and Videos.
I supose that somehow is possible to point this links somewere else.
Nobody can help me with this?
You can change the Home Soft keys via Regedit:
Go to \HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila
Change Left Softkey Path and Text:
HomeLSKPath
HomeLSKText
Change Right Softkey Path and Text:
HomeRSKPath
HomeRSKText
You can also use the Diamond Softkey Manager app (works on wm6.1), just operate it in Diamond mode (one of the options to tick when you open the app.)
I'm not sure how to change in the other tabs though.
