Pls Pls Pls Someone Help Me!!!!!!

but now I have another problem, no Ringtones whatsoever
I can play the ringtones on my WM Player, My Alarm works, System Notification noises work but when I receive a SMS or phone call NO SOUND
Pls Pls help me I'm really desperate, very desperates for any ideas, anything PLEASE!!!!
PS: I've attached some of my reg files if you need more infor pls do not hesitate to ask. Thanking you in advance
PPS: I'm using Wisbar Advance+Desktop, also Profile for Windows Mobile 2.2.0(Build 672)

which version OS are you using

Its in the sig.
I assume you have gone to sound and notifications, notifications tab and selected new sms or voice call and then made sure a sound is selected and that the appropriate tick boxes are ticked... and that the tones you want are the right type of file and placed in the right folders?

simplest way before begging, help urself. hard reset the bugger.
now do ur sounds work? then its the apps or u have done something to it

Yes I've check the notification box, yes its the right type
It plays when I press the play button, but when I received a call or SMS, NO SOUND
Noone is asking you for your precious time if you dont want to damn well give it, bottom line is when you see a thread you don't like, see the door arse hole TAKE A HIKE

I agree the title is going to get peoples backs up considering its only a few sounds which do not work.
Do the sms files actually play manually in media player , are they corrupted?
Try selecting no sounds ok you way back out and then turn them all back on. (might reset any duff reg entries)
Failing that a hard reset will probably be quickest way to sort it?

Well to start with you can tell us what you have installed and have you chnaged any reg keys???
If you dont give information how the heck do you what help.

Problem that I see is that RickyJune has posted many My Phone won't work - here's no information but I want a psychic to fix it for me because I'm too lazy to research for my self threads.
Everytime I see a RickyJune thread I almost know the first response will be 'please give more information' or something of that nature.

I did search, and if you do a search and come up with the answer I'll be f***king surprise
Secondly I did give you all the info, my signature tells you what phone and OS im using, I posted my registry file that I thought was useful and I told you what software I'm running. and said if you need more pls ask

Yeah many people who could help have become hardened to the "Pls Help" posts.
If you search for a particular problem (BTW Use the Google search as well on this forum) and can't find any answers then it's most probable that the problem is just peculiar to yourself.
Have you done a hard reset and do you still have the problem on a 'clean' install?

Well for starters you can quit with the triple posting of threads for the same problem... and then a better subject to the thread... And then smaller letters... If you dont recieve a lot of replies from ones with the right titles its because no one has your answer, as its more than likely 3rd party software causing your issue, this is why the hard reset corrected your problem... be more descriptive, im sure you have more than that piece of junk wisbar advance installed on your device.. If you want answers it helps to know everything, ALL software installed, etc....

Images and Video folders + streaming media

Good evening all of yours!
After many read threads, i make up my mind and start this new one cos i don t find find any good solution...
Is it possible via registry or an applicationto specify in the HTC launcher a particular folder for images and videos? I would like to open all the images and videos i record on storage card.
Then i found already things about the problem but no solutions really about the way to configure streaming media to open onlines videos like youtube and so on...
I had this configuration once after flashing rom and then i flashed again and i don t have it anymore!!
Thks for any answer!!!

Firstly the second post from you is not a way to get attention, this is a forum and expecting an instant response is extremely arrogant.. please let people have a chance to see what your request is before coming back and wasting spacing on questioning why you were not answered. secondly i would hope that with your arrogance may come the miniscule amount of intelligence it takes to do a search.
So for the first part of your question
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services]
"FileSyncPath"="\\Storage Card\\My Documents"
now all your images and videos will save to the storage card and will by default open from there. From here you should be able to figure out where you need to go in registry to tweak the default file locations.
AS for streaming I have no idea but I am sure that the internet connection you obviously have will yield a result thru some search engine...just like the 30 seconds I took out of my life to get the above result which you should have been doing yourself.

I replied to my own post about 5 hours after because i m looking for a solution to this little problem since a while, and yes, was impatient to have a solution!
Thank you for your answer to my first question but you see, my post is not so useless as you are not even able to find a solution to the second one!!!!
And what do you reply to the new ones who keeps asking about the stuck with the bootloader after 1% doawnloaded??? do you shoot them up like you did to me??!!!!
Honestly i don t know who is the most arrogant beetwen us!! So i hoppe that you wont be bothered yourself one day with a little or big problem because if everyone starts to answer like you did, you wille be stucked a long time...

How to get these.....

Alright I have loaded ROM's onto my phone but I am still pretty new to this, I am wondering if anyone can take the time to walk me through of how to get Home Screen's like these (the first one and the red one on PG1)

The big clock is called HTC Home and that's fairly easy to find, just make a simple search for it. The tray on the bottom looks like PHM Trays which you can get from PHM Tools.

Did you bother reading the thread or are you the type to look at pics and ask for help, right off the bat?

Actually I did take the time to read a lot of the post's but as I said in my first post I am pretty new to this stuff and a lot of the talk was quite confusing to me because of the short form's and such so program's and stuff like that.
Like I said before, I am just looking to see if some one has the time to help me, not looking for people to chirp about how new I am and such. Thank you.

Alright so I have read the first like 11 pages and no where in there have I found how to get those 2 Home Screen's running on my Dash?
Please help

As for the Red Carousel theme....go here.
Download the needed cabs in the bottom of his first post and read his install instructions.
As for the HTC home, if you READ where to get it from its in his first thread also...

Download that cab.
Once you've downloaded the cabs...you transfer them to your phone using Active sync. Place them in your documents folder. Using your phone Resco Explorer program direct yourself to the My Documents folder and click on the cabs to install them.
If asked where to install them, pick Main memory (phone itself) not the memory card.
DO NOT UNZIP or UNRAR the CAB files.
After the cabs are installed. REBOOT.
Once rebooted, Click on start->settings->Home Screen->Home screen layout
Once there, choose which home screen...you'd like to have.
Done

Thank you for the help, I have one question though, I downloaded the courosel theme and unzipped it to a folder and then I copied to my from through My Computer (I'm not sure if that matter's?) but when I selected the Courosel theme in Home Screen, the text messages and voicemail stuff look's all messed up? Is that because I unzipped the file?
Another question came up....
I dled the LCD clock and unzipped it, copied the folder to my phone and then went to Resco Explorer and clicked the Setup.xml and it did a bunch of stuff, I thought it installed but then when I rebooted my phone nothing happened?

Alright thank you very much, I didn't realize that that was a cab file since I have never worked with a cab before.
I installed the cab. and got a message saying that I may need an older version of WM?
I then rebooted and the LCD clock was not there?

I couldnt edit again so I has to do another post, the problem I was having was just that I didn't go to the background image and change it to courosol.

alright I have one more question and I thought I would post it here instead of opening another thread. When I am using txt messaging and I sent a txt (I will use this as an example) at 8:01 PM and some one sends me a txt back in the same minute it will say that they replyed at 7:01 PM. It always says one hour earlier for replys? I have searched through options but I cannot seem to find where to change it?

Are you sure your time is right? Go to settings --clock & alarm-- and scroll to where on earth you are. Do a reset try that.

I checked the times man and NOTHING! this is kind of brutal, it's not like it's a huge problem but it's just ******* frustrating, any ideas guys?

Ok children. Be nice. Besides the search option sucks sometimes. It doesnt really narrow down things. Im pretty sure he typed htc music and got all these themes pop up as a result. But yea. Before posting a question. Ur gonna need to scroll and search thoroughly. unfortunately ur answer might be and ive experience it. The last result of the last page.

Alphabet serch bar for Music?

Hi,
Does any one know if it is possible to add a search bar for music like the phone number one? Is it only, or when I wahnt to find a music/Album/artist and have to scroll up and down 1000 mp3's. For me this would very usefull.

I can't believe this hasn't already been implemented, it was the same with the cities for the weather but that was sorted out pretty quick.
I also struggle finding specific music as most of my 16gb card contains mp3's.

I think that it isn't dificult for cooks, probably just get the bar and get it to search for the title/album or whatever. Mabe the problem is getting the media player to read the tag info from all the mp3s, so when you press the letter in the different tabs Artist/Album/Song it gets the right one. but if they apear alphabetacly already it shouldn't be difficult. but this is from a guy that depends on the good wil of others. but still, it would be nice.

I think this is a great suggestion.
Having the same layout as in the contact list (with search bar and alphabet list) would be a nice improvement to the music library.
And even better, would be check mark options under the search bar (or under Menu) to place check marks on what the search should include... artist, album, songs, etc.

Yes this will be very COOL we to have a search bar in the Music Tab but the same post was here befor 4-5 mounths and till today No one even try to make something like this...
So its looking easy but no one did it.
