I've searched around and cant find the answer. How do I disable the redial from my bluetooth headset? Sometimes when I push the button or even plug it in my phone will redial the last call. It's extremely annoying!!
Thanks.
Anybody know of anything?
Kick your set out of the window
I have the same problem too.
Its a pain because new headsets have very soft buttons.
Someone must know something.
Any answer?
This is how i solved it for my HTC Polaris. Not sure if it got any chance to work here, but worth a try. I was looking for this for hours and hours, thats why i am now posting in many threads i've previously tried to find a solution in, maybe it will help someone after all. Mods, please don't delete

Hi there,
It's happened twice in 2 weeks now, so I have to ask the question. Randomly, the sound on my TP2 suddenly comes through the earpiece as opposed to the speaker. Can't explain why and the only way to resolve is a soft reset.
Has anyone else had this and if so, can it be fixed please?
Cheers,
Pete
In the bluetooth settings there is an option to play the system sounds through your bluetooth device. Be sure to clear that option.

Happened to me once or twice as well. I was able however to revive the connection with disable & enable of the bucktooth.
Thanks for the tips guys. My bluetooth isn't actually on, never has been, so none of what you've suggested applies to me. It's a totally random thing (from what I can see) and does not appear to be related to Bluetooth or BT-related settings.
Cheers,
Pete

That happend to me when I try to use Nimbuzz for chat... it is odd, but I tested it several times!!... as soon as I open Nimbuzz the sound is redirected to the earpiece... So I uninstalled it, since then never happend again.
Later,
Tyrone

Hi guys,
Since a few days, for some reason my phone automatically turns on the speaker when I either make a phone call or am being called. I tried turning off the car mode auto-launch and I downloaded a free app called Car Mode which also didn't work.
I also searched some other forums, it seems that this is a common issue on the normal Desire. Some people state it's a hardware related problem, others say it's software related.
Does anyone know what's happening here?
Thanks
When your phone is on call, and you flip your phone over face down, the speaker would activate. Please use the search before posting for god sake.

feel like a **** sometimes when I pickup my phone and put it to my ear to start talking and the voice blasts out the speaker instead
Did you find a solution?? I'll post back here if I find a solution....

I feel like a little bit of a LitteJerc now myself... I just restarted my phone and phone calls dont automatically go through the loud speaker anymore... why didnt I try that before.... the classic 'have you turned it off and on again'.....
See if that works for you!!??
Hi guys, I did a search in this Arc forum for In ear Speaker problems and couldn't find anything, so I chose to start a new thread. Just know I DID try to find info for this phone but I only found a few other threads about different phones.
My in-ear speaker does not work in calls. It is extremely quiet, as if the volume is turned all the way down. Thing is, I try turning up the in-call volume during a call and it does nothing. But the weird thing is, I went into the service menu to test the hardware (using the *#*#7378423#*#* trick) and tested the in-ear speaker and it works fine! Loud and clear! But then immediately following that I'll try a call and still will hear practically nothing. Putting the call on speakerphone allows me to hear the other party, as well as putting in a headset, so I am stumped. Tried pulling the battery and have rebooted the phone many times and the problem is still persisting.
AND, on top of ALL of that, the damn thing was working just fine the other day. I switched to this phone last week and have been making calls successfully being able to hear the other party just fine. But suddenly today it's deciding to not work in a call. This is really weird.
Has anyone else had this problem? What else can I try to fix it? Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT: Blah a hard reset fixed it. Feel free to delete this post mods!
I have a general problem in a ROM, and i want to try to understand how can i work on it, in order to solve this problem.
The problem is the "handsfree", when i launch a call, and the other part answer to me, if i active the handsfree button, the other part don't hear my voice, as if is stucked on headphone. When I disactive the handsfree again, the other parts hear me again....Instead I hear always without problem in both cases....
I think can be a library problem, but i'm not sure......how can i understand which is the problem???
I can use "Logcat", but someone should help me to understand......
Is possible to have any help to understand???
Very thanks to everybody.....
Maybe I wrong section?
Please any moderator to move the post where it sees fit (the section most appropriate), it is impossible not receive even a hint of a suggestion .....
Hi,
I've been search around the threads, but haven't been able to come up with anything, so I'm not sure if this has been asked before.
I wanted to check with all, does the microphone button on the headset really disconnect your call? Is there any way to actually change this?
