My phone is showing that I have a voicemail, but I have erased all of my VMs. This started yesterday, and I have reset my phone as well as re-installed the ROM and the message won't go away.
Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?
There are a number of threads on this in here already. Try a search. Also, more descriptive thread titles are better.
*I wouldn't have posted this if I didn't search first.
Don't worry about it though because I fixed it.
Thanks for the help!
hi,i have installed arhd 6.3.1 yesterday and now i have problem with its internet!!!!when i connect to internet(wifi and 3g)it shows this massage to me"The application %1$s (process %2$s) has stoped unexpected"
i don't know is it for mods I've flashed or for rom??
and i had problem logging on with my google acount and my facebook app didn't work neither!!!!!when i try to open facbook it shows me that massage again!!!!
I was trying to help someone figure out this issue earlier with no luck. Sounds like a bug with the Rom. The only thing I didn't have him check was the kernel he was using. Can you tell me what kernel comes with the Rom. Also if it is cfs or bfs.

Hello,
You didn't say if you super wiped your phone before flashing new rom.
According to Mike it's optional but recommended.
Maybe that's the case?
Unless you did super wipe. Then maybe mods, you've installed, are causing problems?
I also flashed 6.3.1 yesterday and to be honest I don't have any problems with this rom so far.

What have you done to troubleshoot your issue? Did you do a full wipe and reflash the rom without any of the mods? I dont see a logcat file attached, have you done a logcat to see what is causing the issue?
Please provide as much info as you can after you try to troubleshoot the issue yourself before opening a new post. This is a development site, not a rom support site.
i have super wiped before flashing new rom, i didn't have this peroplem until i connected to internet!!!!
i couldn't even login to my gmail account through my "sync and accounts"!!!!

That's why you search and read. I told you ylhow to find the issue and the first steps to trouble shoot it. I understand you are new but that doesn't let you not to your own trouble shooting first. Go back to my last post and read what I said. Try the TS steps and if that doesn't work run a logcat. A search will show you how to do it. To help you people here need to know excatly what you did. Every single thing and unless you try the basic troubleshooting how is anyone supposes to help you. As a member of a development site you are required to do your homework first before opening a new thread.

If you cant do a simple search maybe a custom rom is not for you. Custom roms will never be bug free and may require you to do some basic trouble shooting. No I will not tell you how to do the basics step by step. That is not what we do here. I just spent 10 sec searching on how to do a logcat and lookie what i found.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=818084
Now in all seriousness. Flashing roms to your phone is not a simple thing. While yes we make it easy please understand what you are doing before you do it. Custom roms are not for every one. Sometimes it takes hours if not days to fix an issue that pops up. hours upon hours of reading. If you cant devote the time and energy needed to do this maybe you should really rethink running a custom rom.

you see!!!!you gave me a like!!!it was't hard for you!!!now by giving me this like you help me!!!!
i don't say you fix my rom, i said help me!and helping me is to guide me!!!
you are right it is not your dudy to help me step to step, and i don's expect any one to help me but thank you!!!!forgive me for not knowing simple things!!!!
Or simply this (for logcat) https://market.android.com/details?id=org.jtb.alogcat&feature=search_result&hl=en
But it seems like you had a bad flash. Try to wipe everything n flash again.
Re-download the ROM, if it says 6.2.0 not 6.3.1 you have an early version with a small error in it. It wouldn't cause the problem you've described but it does display the wrong version number.
Then when you have downloaded the ROM, make sure you check the md5 checksum to be sure the file downloaded correctly: http://bit.ly/s8AqiC
Then as others have said, superwipe and re-flash. Good luck.
I have super wiped and then flash my rom and then my kernel,it worked fine without eror!
I THink the problem was "Revolution_HD_6.1.x_batterymod_Glow_by_Nieass" this mod!!!now I have installed every thing except this mod and it works fine!!thank you all
but it is written 6.20 instead of 6.3.1!!!
the md5sum of file that i have downloaded is different from the md5sum that is written in arhd page!!!but the file name was the same!!!!!
I have to redownload it??
I have checked 6.20 & 6.3.1 that i have downloaded md5 checksum and their not the same!!!
when i flashed this new 6.3.1,all the apps that are updated as it tolled in arhd page!!!i'm redownloading it again tonight!to find out the issue
Yes, re-download it - but you don't have to superwipe again, just flash it over the top.
The changes from the ROM with the wrong version in "About phone" to the correct 6.3.1 zip were very small, and don't require a wipe before flashing. The main difference (possibly the only one) is the version number that displays in Settings.
And please don't use any more mods for 6.1.x or 6.2.x, only use versions for 6.3.x, as it can cause problems. I think Nieass said he will be updating his mods, so just keep an eye on his thread. Lots more mods will come for the new 6.3.x ROM, I'm sure, now that we have a final version of the official HTC base.
It's been written many times not to flash mods for older versions, so you could have saved yourself some pain by reading more on the forums first. Also as zelendel said, you need to provide more information explaining things when you have a problem. jerras asked in the 3rd post if you had flashed any mods, and if you had answered him then I'm sure someone would have been able to tell you what was wrong. People on these forums are very clever, but they aren't psychic and can't know what you've done unless you tell them.
Just remember - read as much as you can before you flash things, and if you ask for help give as much information as possible about what you've done. But I'm glad it's working for you now.
you are right!!
I'll give you more info if any thing happens again!!!!
an other question!!!!
can i flash same boot animations that i was using for elder roms or not???

Yes, if they worked on ARHD before they will work now. Boot animations aren't affected by the software version so you should be fine.
I upgraded my rom to SOS+ previously from SOS-X (Which works great!) now since I did the upgrade everything is working on it except the dialer. When I press the phone button it says "unable to access the application, try to restart GO launcher" I look in my app list and I don't even see a phone in there at all. I tried re flashing it several times, doing a factory reset, I even tried pushing the phone.apk into the system/app nothing works. What causes this to happen? What can I do to get this working?
I take it no one has a solution.:crying:
Discussed in SOS thread. Read it there. Search before making the thread plzzz

Sorry, I barely post on here.
Noob here. Would post in the relevant thread, but I'm unable to. So here are the details:
I recently updated my phone with [ROM] [Team D.I.R.T] [Jelly Bean] UNOFFICIAL Codename Android 3.3.1 found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1850888
While I was experimenting with the rom, I discovered that my GPS was not working. After a quick search I found that other people were having the same problem (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30677489&postcount=46) and seemed to work for others successfully.
I downloaded the Qualcomm Vision GPS Driver v1.1 and flashed it. It says the flash loaded successfully but GPS still doesn't seem to work.
At this point I'm at a loss because the fix seems to work for others but not for me and I feel like I'm overlooking something simple. Anyone have any ideas?
Wrong section please post in q and a next time, but to answer your question, look here

It should be in the first part of the guide

Thanks. I actually saw that post and was already half way thru reloading my stock rom by the time you posted. GPS worked on stock but unfortunately after following all the steps it didn't work on the custom rom. Really baffled on what I'm doing wrong. Going to give it another go. If I run into other issues I'll make sure to post in the proper area.

Not trying to discourage you, but sometimes things just aren't going to work between a rom you're using and your phone. The roms will play different with your phone compared to someone else's even tho they might be the same model.
There are some ics gps fixes that are flash able here on xda. Run a search and flash, it could work. If you can find them PM me your email. I think I still have one saved on my computer. Goodluck.
Thanks for the offer, but I was finally able to get GPS working late last night. No idea what I did differently, but the third time was the charm.
I am not sure what happened to the phone exactly, but all of a sudden it got stuck at the Fire System Recovery screen. I can't reboot it. It keeps getting to this exact same screen every time I try to reboot.
Here are the options that are on the screen.
- reboot system now
- apply update from ADB
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
Please help, this phone is for my son and he's pretty sad right now not able to use it.
Thanks much!
Edit: If I remember correctly, I probably installed CM Rom on this phone when I first got it.
Anyone?
Anything I can do?

I think it was @jesus that said, "Give a man an answer he could have found using the XDA search box, and his problem will be solved for the day. Teach a man to use the search box, and he will be educated for a lifetime."

These are the kind of posts throughout the World Wide Web that are just absolutely worthless and a complete waste of bandwidth. If you have nothing to add or contribute, move along.
And please DO NOT assumed that someone had not try to use the Search function on this forum or Google.

No, Sir. Your post was the pointless one. The forums become cluttered due to people like yourself who do not make any meaningful effort to search and read through the forums to solve problems that have already been discussed previously. If your search function skills lack the sophistication to locate the link @Kramar111 provided, then I submit you should refrain from making such large modifications to your devices, such as flashing CM11. While yes my posting was sarcastic, it's intent was to shine a humorous light on the fact that the forums are here to share knowledge, not constantly rehash it.

Thanks for this guide guys, I followed the instructions and sideloaded the latest Amazon Fire OS 4.6.6 several times and the phone shows "update completed" but I keep rebooting to the Fire Recovery bootup screen.
What else am I missing?
