O2 Xda IIs (Australia Unit) Windows 2003 SE and Unicode?

Hi All,
I have a O2 Xda IIs unit bought in Australia. I am just wondering if any one know how I can add Unicode support for the device. In particular, I would like to read and write Vietnamese character set.

How to add cyrillic support to SMS and e-mails on WM5 Smartphone

I can not read messages originally sent to my WM5 Smartphone AKU3 in cyrillic (Russian). Does anybody know how to add this support? Instead of words I receive: ?????????? or x^#(&(*?

Is it just a problem of SMS/Emails?

here's the long story. This is s Samsung SGH-i607 Blackjack WM5 Smartphone AKU 3.0.0. Purely Cingular-only baby. The default language is US ENG. No manual network selection nor Call Option access when used with non-cingy SIM cards. It has no Windows-1251 support as far as I understand. I have no idea how to add it or what to modify in order to recognize cyrillic words sent in SMS or emails whatsoever. Though I can browse and see webs with cyrillic coding as well as contacts in cyrillic synced with outlook. My previous Cingular 8125 was capable of seeing (understanding RU, UKR or some in SMS / emails /) I used a little prog called AEKMap to have a hardware support for Russian, too.

Decuma Japanese on WM6 does not work

hi, i´ve installed Decuma Japanese 2.1 on my Hermes, but on WM6 doesn´t write anymore (with WM5 was ok)... can anybody help me? (new version for wm6, patch or so) the handwriting recognition is ok, but the characters are not being transferred to the text (Kana or Romaji)

Confirm that. NOT worked for me with any lang.

Decuma products are only compatible with a list of devices that is available on BitWay and Handango. Decuma Japanese for WM2003SE and WM5, for example, purchased through the HP iPAQ Starter Pack Volume 4 is only compatible with HP iPAQ rx1950, hx2190, hx2490, hx2790, hx2110, hx2410 and hx2750 Pocket PC. There are currently no plans to extend our consumer products to the WM6 platform. If we do, a new version of the product will be made available.
Please uninstall Decuma from your WM6 device. If uninstall fails, you may need to do a factory reset on your device. Please contact your retailer or manufacturer for instructions.

Decuma works fine with my Qteq 9090 and on my TyTn with Wm5 with Swedsh lang. Working not on my TyTn with WM6

Asus MyPal A636N_WM 6.5?

As I understand asus did not planned to release wm 6.5 for this model, but is there a chance to use some customized/cooked rom, or not?

Same question but for its succesor model A696. It runs the same ROM WM6. Is there any way to take this default ROM and "upgrade" its core to WM6.5??? Any tools for that?

The updated A626/A696 rom is coming, but you got to give me some time (I am a full-time college student, after all). Meanwhile, I have a WM6.1 rom for you to play with.

CE Star input for WM 6.5?

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone have CE Star full version that will work with my SE X1 WM6.5 becuz now I cannot read and write (input) for traditional chinese character.

Wm6.5 does not work with CEStar? It is essentially WM6.1 with a new interface, that's all. No reason for it not to work...
