Un problema noto per chi ha un OMNIA brandizzato da un operatore (ad esempio TIM) e usa una SIM di un altro operatore (ad esempio Vodafone) è l'impossibilità ad avvalersi dell'A-GPS perchè come sito per scaricare i dati dei satelliti usa quello imposto dall'azienda brandizzatrice.
Secondo informazioni da me non testate esiste però questo metodo per risolvere il problema:
Digita dal telefono > *#1472365#
Tappa su Menu
Settings
GPS
Assicurati che nel primo campo sia selezionato "Standalone"
Esci con OK e ritappa su Menu
Settings
XTRA
Seleziona "Disable" alla voce Auto download
Fatto.
Sarei lieto se qualcuno mi confermasse come esatta e funzionante questa procedura.

Copiare il cab di Franson GpsGate 2.6.0.325 su My Storage (oppure potete usare Storage Card se avete installato una scheda MicroSD aggiuntiva e volete usarla, io ho usato My Storage!) e tappate 2 volte sul cab per avviare l'installazione. Fate un softreset (riavviate!).
Per inserire il seriale quando avviate GpsGate da Start -> Programmi allora dovete avviare il programma e poi tappare nuovamente sul programma per far comparire il menu oppure dopo aver avviato il programma andare alla schermata iniziale Oggi e tappate sul logo di GpsGate per avere il menu.
AFTER TRANSLATION

Copy the cab Franson GpsGate 2.6.0.325 on My Storage (Storage Card or you can use if you have installed an additional microSD card and you want to use it, I used My Storage!) And stage 2 times on the cab to start the installation. Take a Softreset (reboot!).
To enter the serial when you start GpsGate from Start -> Programs then you start the program and then re-plug on the program to display the menu or after you start the program go to the Today screen and tap the logo GpsGate for the menu.

1 - scegliete la rom che volete tra quelle con il sistema operativo 6.5.5 che sia in inglese (ossia edizione WWE)...
io vi consiglio la più aggiornata, ossia la versione 23541
cmq dopo aver scaricato la rom installatela senza problemi sul vostro dispositivo...
2- ora dovrete scaricare un cab per la traduzione prima del Titanium

5 - ora andate nel vostro dispositivo e seguite questo percorso:
click su start->settings->Home->Items->deselezionate prima la casella "TouchFLO 3D" poi quella "windows default"
6 - ora andate in start->settings->System->Regional Settings e selezionate ITALY
7 - ora andate installate tutti i cab ossia:
- cab per wm 6.5
- cab per tf3d o SENSE
- i 2 cab per Ezinput
8 - ora effettuate un softreset a fine installazione di tutti (probabilmente dopo l'installazione del primo cab ne effettuerete già uno...ma alla fine fatene comunque un altro.
9 - ora andate in start->EzInput SIP Menu e andate nel campo "english" e selezionate "italiano"....poi da questo menu potete anke decidere se avere la tastiera qwerty o se avere il tastierino del telefono normale (9 tasti...ke io preferisco)
10 - ora andate in start->settings->Home->Items->selezionate la casella "TouchFLO 3D" et violà....avrete la vostra ROM IN ITA...

invece è molto utile io aspetto che esca una rom stabile con touch flo 3D 2.1 o 2.5 e videochiamata funzionante senza problemi e poi la provo senz'altro! grazie mille per le dritte!

grazie e cmq anke io sto aspettando una bella rom 6.5 stabile, tutte mi stanno dando grattacapi dopo aver accumulato + di 2000 sms....
poi se voglio customizzarle altro problema con la ram ke nn è mai abbastanza e si riempie subito...
sicuramente mi direte "usa clearRAM!" e io l'ho provato ad usare e se lo si usa nn partirà più il tf3d2.1....sto impazzendo x sto fatto...
appena troverò la ROM ke fa x me....la consiglierò immediatamente a tutti...

per il manila 2.5 prova a cercare, ci saranno sicuramente...ma sicuramente dorai cercare non nella sezione diamond ma nella sezione di telefoni come il diamond2 o nella sezione hacking per il porting del manila 2.5

sono riuscito a installare la traduzione del tf32d, ma per quanto riguarda il t9 e enziput non ho combinato nulla.
nel senzo che una volta installato il primo cab non trovo nessun enziput menu e nel secondo link mi ritrovo un file zip che una volta zippato da un file reg ma non so cosa fare.

I have a problem with some programs.
Pentrader and RealPlayer-ppc not connect independently to the Internet. Not activate the GPRS connection automatically. I must first activate it by opening a browser or mail and then work (unless you have a programam for disconnecting automatic as hdtweak).
How do I enable them to connect to the mobile network. Changes to the registry?
Why do some programs are part of the connection and others do not?

Ho un problema con alcuni programmi.
Pentrader e realplayer-ppc non si connettono in maniera autonoma ad internet. Non attivano la connessione gprs automaticamente. Io devo prima attivarla aprendo un browser oppure la posta e allora funzionano (sempre che non si abbia un programam per la disconnessione automatica come hdtweak).
Come si fà ad abilitarli a connettersi alla rete mobile. Modifiche al registro? Perchè alcuni programmi fanno partire la connessione e altri no?

Titanium CommManager
Titanium Notification
Per far funzionare correttamente il plugin Titanium CommManager dopo averlo installato andate in File Explorer e spostate la cartella "CComm" da "Programmi" a "Program files" in quanto il cab è fatto per la versione inglese.
Software consigliato:
Opera mini 5.0 beta(Ing): Ottimo browser Java, molto leggero e veloce.
SIP Change 1.1: Svolge le stesse funzioni Ervius Sip Selector.(a differenza che questo funziona)

Da una segnalazione di Gruptnt, sembra che programma che esegue il Flash delle ROM abbia un bug, cioè se si parte il Flash da Windows Mobile, è più alta la probabilità di perdere la WLAN, quindi il mio cosiglio è che se volete provare la mia ROM è meglio se partite da BOOTLOADER (vi si accede premendo il tasto "accensione" + "fotocamera" e con il pennino nel buco per il Soft reset). Questo almeno fino a quando il problema non verrà risolto.

Matlegro Elegance 1.01 (build 23504)(risolto il problema della ricezione da bluetooth, andare da Start\Impostazioni\Connessioni\Bluetooth nella scheda FTP e spuntare la prima opzione "Enable Bluetooth Explorer")
Matlegro Elegance 1.02 (build 23504)
Bug risolti, e Programmi aggiunti nella 1.02:
__Programmi:
- Setup operator(Impostazione automatica per Connessione Internet e MMS)
- Skyfire(Fantastico browser Internet, con suporto a javascript,flash 10, Silverlight 2)
- Showcase(task manager)
- Eliminato Resco Eplorer(per prob. di visualizzazione, dopo alcune modifiche), sostituito con Total Commander
__Bug:
- Gestione RAM migliorata
- Esmertec Jbed tradotto completamente in italiano(va un ringraziamento a almare73)
- Risolto Bug Fotocamera(che la rendeva quasi inutilizzabile)

Novità:
- Notifica di recapito degli SMS, disabilitata di default;
- WM5torage 1.9, che con l'opzione "Two way", permette di vedere il contenuto della SD sia sul computer che sul dispositivo;
- Cartella Accessori con icone in alta risoluzione;
- Icone sulla barra superiore(batteria, ecc.) a colori;
- Nuove tastiere (oltre a quelle già presenti) con T9 in ITALIANO, per selezionare l'interfaccia del "Touch Input" che preferite dovete andare in Accessori e avviare "Input selection" ;
- Icona "Hard Reset" in Impostazioni\Sistema per eseguire l'hard reset via software;
- Risolto il bug degli sms(digitando un nome nel campo "A:" tutto diventava bianco al di sotto);
Matlegro Elegance 1.1b (build 23506)
- versione della 1.1 rivista e corretta, ora dovrebbe essere stabile come la 1.04

- Fotocamera funzionante

FAQ:
- Per il Sim ToolKit, è già presente, solo che il servizio non parte e bisogna forzarlo così:
1. Andare su Start e cliccate su "Gestione Attività"
2. In alto a destra trovate un simbolo, uguale all'aspulsione dei CD nei lettori
3. Cliccateci sopra e vi apparirà un elenco, selezionate "Services"
5. vi apparirà l'elenco dei servizi tra cui trovate "STK Service", selezionatelo e poi in basso a sinistra cliccate sul pulsante play;
6. entro un minuto apparirà in Start l'icona sei servizi del vostro utente(nel mio caso "Servizi Wind")

ho visto che su windows c'è anche il kevtetris...pero' non lo trovo in giochi e poi non trovo htc album ma dov'è?
la memoria è stabile il task manager non lo trovo e non trovo anche altri programmi della lista
capita solo a me?

Kevtris non c'è, htc album lo trovi in Start\Multimedia invece il task manager lo trovi in Start\Accessori

Raga ho risolto il problema del bluetooth e sto riuppando la rom quindi ci vuole almeno un'oretta....

as far as I can see you are missing Bth_Watch folder in sys/23504/shared/common compared to my 23071 Kitchen. also MODEMLINK is missing from your kitchen but that should not cause problems with BT.

File Transfer works both ways on yours? Thanks for the input.
Ho provato a scaricare il file, ma quando viene scompattato appare un messaggio di errore: "CRC failed in RELEASE_TRINITY\ruu_signed.nbh. The file is corrupt".

[GUIDA] Velocizzare il fix del gps su Bada 2.0 (Per Wave s8500 e Wave II s8530)
Per prima cosa vi avverto che la guida non l'ho creata io e che al momento non posso verificare se funziona, semmai la procedura funzionasse non esitate a scriverlo sotto (ma non in tanti, bastano 2-3 conferme )
La guida:
#1. Digitare, sul tastierino telefonico, il codice *#7092463*#
#2. Selezionare le seguenti voci in sequenza: 4 Module Settings > 4 COMM > 2 Lbs > 4 Settings > 1 General Settings
#3. Selezionare la voce BUILT-IN sotto la voce GPS Device-Type
#4. Effettuare uno scroll della schermata fin sotto la voce BLUETOOTH e selezionate Cold Start e GPS+ AutoDownload.
#5. Tornare di nuovo indietro, fino alla schermata Setting Menu, e selezionare Etc Setting. Quindi, abilitare le voci ULTS Enable e GPS PDR Enable
#6. Tornare indietro fino al menù LBS Application, selezionare Delete GPS Data e consentire la cancellazione dei precedenti dati GPS.
