[Solved] Dutty v2.8 Xtreme 'Top Curtain' & 'BG4All'

Hi guys. I've just flashed Dutty's latest 2.7 xtreme and found that there's a grey top curtain. I installed MaxTT v3.1, various manila files and cabs but the grey background is still there. I'm wondering if anyone found a solution to remove it?

I'm using an alternative method for BG4All. Dutty 2.8 users might want to use these 2 cabs to enjoy both BG4All while having Program Tab.
1) AllPrograms_Tab from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=487192 (thanks showaco)
2) Get StockLite from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=479112 (thanks mun_rus)

I got rid of the curtains by using the attached cabs... Install BadClusters cab first, then the other one, then reset.
Try it and let me know!

just to add to this I used the nocurtains.cab I've attached which worked for me.
Looks so much nicer, I really hate that top one!

Which AllProgram_Tab did you use?
I just tried the 4 icon version and the new style start menu wouldn't open if bg4all was installed.

Can't get this working.
I'm on Dutty's Extreme 2.8 rom. I deactivated TouchFlo, installed Showaco All_Programsv4.1_3ICON.cab and mUn bg4allTabs_stockLike_v1.cab but New Style Start Menu still will not open.

For BG4All use this application:

Has anyone found a way of having personal backgrounds on all tabs using Dutty's 2.7?
I've tried showaco and mun_rus cabs and neither get it right. Have I missed a trick somewhere?

Check the link in my previous post.

Guys, I'm using an alternative which is using the old Programs tab instead of the new 'Start' Menu. To me, this is better because I get to enjoy both BG4All and more programs shortcut at the same time (Start shortcut + Programs tab shortcut).

i m having the same problem, top curtain just dont want to go, i have installed the 2 cabs as u said but top grey curtain still at the top.is there any way to remove this plz?

it could be cfc compressed manila in your rom or a new manilla.
i can't help you sorry i have no Blackstone.
but i used the 15 tab icons Black Magic by Zal and replaced the icons with mine.

Noob question, but it won't let me change my wallpaper now after installation...what do I have to do to change it?

go in settings tab tf3d/wallpaper and choose one...use cab high def prog here in the forum to change all backgrounds

i have a cab file with icons from long ago when i have diamond before the hd,this cab works on all the roms a have tested,if you want it,just say something.

Is it much work to convert this theme to WVGA? I have tested it on my Rhodium and it works, but I would like to have the TF3D slider at the bottom... for the rest I think this is an awesome theme!!!!

So am I right when I say that this theme wont work well on a Touch HD with a manila 2.1 on it? Or should it work fine with dutty 3.9 rom?

Hey guys I like this and I installed clock but it messed my tf3d so I wanted to unistall it in sett/rem programs but it won't unistall...... It also won't unistall with sync on pc
So I went to windows directory and deleted it but it still isn't removed.
I have energy rom 6.5...
What should I do?

Hi blc4. Uninstall the clock files from your Windows directory in the device, (then make a backup of your current files and settings using Sprite Backup, if you want existing settings back). Then reinstall the ROM, and you will get the original clock back. Then restore files ad settings using Sprite, and all should be done.

am a avid fan of this site been looking for a x1 dialer to match my phone eg the htc dialer or any other pls help would preffer it in a dark shade since my x1 is black am using some tweaks and spl 3.0 dont know much just how to install cabs and stuff

the icons are for 6.5 not sure if they will work on 6.1 but the cab is attaced:
The wallpaper is cooked into the rom as soon as i can extract it i will upload for you

Have you installed both cabs?
I just tested them and they work fine

Here's the whole theme with the wallpaper: you need to change the extension from cab to tsk for it to work

I did managed to get this to work with my WM6.5 rom from Agent_47.

it is part of the theme i don't have a theme creator to extract it i've looked through the entire windows dir and the image is not there on it's own i am sure there would e a theme creator somewhere that would solve the issue.

The updated version of Manila without uniformity, which caused many difficulties for the work theme . Theme should probably not work on some versions Manila 2.1 but it is only few

Very very nice, works flawlessly on Dutty R14 and Miri 29, only one question, could you make the screen icons bigger ? as in the original sense manila ?

The slider icons are beautiful, but is there a reason why the STOCK icon remains white and not changed. I've even downloaded slider icons from HTCPEDIA.COM and still the stock icon will not change. Is this a fixed color for this thing?

Great work for sense 2.5 but i have two question on my Xanny 1.7B ROM. I dont use maxmanila.
1. The lockscreen isnt work for me;
2.The clock isnt work for me too(see my attched pic.);
Any solution?

The lockscreen can be ok on your phone but I'm not sure ...try it and make a feedback ,you can unistall it...

On Manila build 1922 Clock of Sence is horrible And no background.

for me it looked just fine on 1922.

if someone can send me manila files of background and clock for 1922 ,I can mofify them like my theme

I tried 5~6 times.

visibly since 1921 version you are the second with this problem, manila file seem to be different!!!I don't have 1921 and 1922 file to correct this for the moment ....

i tried to install LaskarTheme for Clock of Sense v1 on my blackstone with manila 2.5.19211619.0 but had no luck. the clock background was horrible. i noticed that the clock background in the 31794a12_manila had a wrong resolution. i have modified the background file to the right resolution and now it works perfekt for me (see attached thumb).
for all with the same problem try the attached cab with the corrected resolution!
