Just got mine, nice and smooth functionality of Touchflo comparing to windows 6.5 on touch hd. I do have a problem, though, Igo does not work in full screen although the function keys are in normal position. It's like the touch is in full screen but the image isn't. That makes impossible entering an address. Any idea, please?
There is an igo thread here but I haven't read through it.

That's the one I followed and it works fine.

To get it working in native resolution, I have put into my sys.txt the following settings:
[device]
type="HTC Touch Pro 2"
SDCard_dsk_num=7
[rawdisplay]
highres=0
autoconfig=1
driver="gx"
screen_y=800
screen_x=480
Then, I use Dimka 1.25 480x800 skin but it is also working fine with the latest Gurion 480x800 skin as well as with the built-in one.
If you prefer horizontal position - just swap x&y in "screen_?" lines.
If this will not help - just PM me.

Now working on Black Calendar....
much better thanks...
does the Diamond Style clock work/look okay on HD?
thanks a lot!
Great graphics
Looks great, but maybe the edges around the numbers should be more visible. Now they are a bit unclear.
Looks great, maybe it'll also save some battery too when using the calculator frequently (no bright background having screen eat all the battery)
Google's concept of saving energy www.blackle.com ..
LCD screens it doesn't matter the image color the illumination is always the same.
Unless you dim your brightness. Bu that makes dark images harder to see.
I've gorn and lost my mscalc.exe !!
Didn't notice it until I installed it, sure that had nowt to do with it tho'.
Anyone able to post up a copy for me?
Verry nice. Thanks.
IPC Calc and Black Dialer are the best out there. Thanx.
AVLev, your work is really beautiful! This is what everything should look like on the Diamond!
I am addicted to IPC Black Dialer, but after I updated my Diamond to the new HTC ROM 2.03 (with the slide-to-answer button), I can't use it...
Any chance of an update with a slider?
Thank you
Thank you
Excellent, thanks.
Perhaps a way to change something to 00 for hundreds.
Landscape Mode
What about a landscape mode for Calculator?
That's Great!!thanks for your share,I am searching this app. for a long time.
Yes indeed! Absolute great apps - IPC Calculator and Dialer!
But one question to the cab in the first post. I get no difference to the first version - it always looks as you see below - the left one. Also very fine - but the other one (right picture) is still better. So please, what is to do?
-------------
Ok - now I see, that I jumped into a blackstone thread with 480 x 800.
But anyway the look of the keys is better and the 1-2-3 at the bottom is what I am used to. So it would be great to get this too.
But thanks again so far for the apps at all!
By any chance does anybody know how to get rid of the IPC_Calculator? It replaced my original calc. I installed a new calculator and like it, but the original ipc is still there. and the version I got doesn't work in landscape. How do I get the original calc back?
I try and is great.
Thanks for your work
Landscape
Halo, not working in landscape mode IPC_Black_Calculator not even IPC_Black_Dialer. It's big damage.
Hi, does anyone know if the Black Calendar is out yet? The link in tho OP sig doesnt seem to work. Or have a link to a decent calendar / organizer for HTC? Havent found one I like yet
I'm assuming that the zoom bar is just an extension of the resistive touch screen beyond the visible screen, so what are the chances someone will make a program/hack that will let you use it for other functions, like a dpad and a mouse?
TD2 users already have it sort of working as a scroll wheel.
I've been watching the M900 on Pocketnow, and while I'm not swayed, the potential of the navigation functions of the biosensor do wow me. It'd be a welcome addition I think. I'm new to xda-dev, but whenever I've come across the name/link, it's always with effusive praise and admiration. I figure if anyone will, it will be someone here.
Bump for this one!!
As soon as I saw the zoom bar on the TD2 and TP2 and the limited functionality of usage only in messaging, web browsers and pictures, it just screamed hack hack hack
I was also thinking gestures like the Palm Pre...
ooooh... I'm intrigued! I'd like to see what some developers can put together for this. That would be a sweet feature to hack.

Agreed. The zoom bar seemed like a good idea when I first read about it, given the multitouch zooming was a no go with the resistive screen. But then in the reviews, it just seemed so under-utilized.
I'd love to have a configuration utility that let you use it in different ways in different applications, kind of like some screen rotating apps let you set up rotation differently for different apps.
Or like the Jog Dial on the hermes. (only wished the TP2 had that, and it would have been perfect. One handed control of the device...). But it will have to be pretty precise, and it isn't yet.
If it can register touch pressure (tapping) I would like 2 see 4 sectors (up down left right)

D2 Zoombar as buttons request asks for 3 buttons. Hopefully someone will do more.
Would LOVE to see 3 or 4 buttons on the zoom bar!!
(And maybe sliding button 1 to the right or button 4 to the left still means scrolling)

The main screen can tell the difference between a press and a flick, so I imagine the zoom bar could have assigned buttons and still scroll.
Hi All
For my TP2, i'd really like to have Zoom Bar that zooms ....everything!!
I would like to just zoom the screen (any screen) to a larger size. I did kinda think (or at least hope) that it was what it was going to do anyway, not just zooming pictures, browser etc.
I would like the simple (??) funtion of being able to zoom any app, any screen, anything - to be able to read stuff maybe a little more easier.
I do use glasses for reading only and it is a real drag to have to get them out to read a text clearly, or see whose calling or just to get a better look in daylight etc.
A zoom 'anything' or 'any screen' would be really awesome and a supremely useful utilisation of something that is already there. Then you couild just drag the screen around to get to what you want to see better (yes, just like a picture, so basically i guess, the current screen becomes like a picture).
The other ideas of buttons, d pads and so on all sound great too, but this would probably benefit so many people get better use out of their devices.
I wonder if it can be done...????
Cheers and happy TP2ing.

Probably better than just magnifying the screen, for readability in text heavy apps at least, would be setting font sizes to the zoom bar--zoom up, Font Sizes get larger, zoom down, they get smaller. I think that might actually be enabled in some text apps already, but I'm not sure. The touchpad on my Acer Aspire One does this in some word processors.
For things like Caller ID, a screen magnifier would be needed. I'm guessing you'd need a resident program to be able to do this anywhere and everywhere.
Thx fortunz
All true, but wouldn't the simple 'magnify the whole screen' thing be a really (really) good thing to have - and logical too. Just an extension of the way it works for images. Just seems like something that it should do.
I did notice on the HTC Manila 2.5 demo video from Germany, in the Settings area, under 'Other', there was a setting for 'HTC Magnify'.
Uncertain of any further details, but it could be just what i am talking about, maybe!
Cheers to all

I don't disagree at all.
zoom as scroll and on manila start screen not only inside
I just wish the zoom ball zommed in on pictures (going towards center of picture) rather than how it works in opera (the upper left corner)
Bump...
Anybody anything?
i would be interested to know if this is possible too.
I would luv the zoom bar to wash my car and mow the lawns for me... any chance?
....LOL....
Yeah, the zoom bar is really under-utilized. I often forget it's there and go to screen -> larger text to increase my fonts... Guess it's because it only works in a few apps. Without realizing, I've gone to settings -> screens before I realize I have a zoom bar...
Would love to see some gurus here hack this to a mini d-pad, or at least and up/down arrow. Currently, I have the vol up/down to do this using AEB.
i agree with all of these .. we need a genius programmer to make some kind of super aeb where you could have different button profiles and set a shortcut to profiles on the homescreen .. my perfect setup would be to have zoom be able to switch open applications and somehow map the back conference mute thing to play/pause in music player .. or have zoom button be able to switch songs for you (like with screen off/lock on) and hold for running applications list ... then have it all skinned pretty like some translucent palm pre thing .... lol .. just dreaming..
games
they can also utilize in racing games like as steering wheel instead of touching the screen
Hi,
I have seen several apps, which will rotate the screen, i.e. Gyrator. So far that works nice.
But in some cases, i like to switch screen manually and override the automatic sensor.
Is there a way to do this?
If not, is there a tool, which lets me manually rotate the screen, same like in my old Trinity?
Best regards,
Michael
registry hack to enable screen rotation ui tab
http://pocketnow.com/thought/bringing-manual-screen-rotation-back-to-the-touch-diamond
describes how to enable the screen rotation ui tab, and works on the blackstone too.
how can i simulate keyboard sliding out (without actually opening it) to obtain the landscape state with all programs so that i can switch from portrait view (4all) to landscape (4all) apart from the G sensor.
I have tried all rotation programs ( Gyrator2, changescreen, G-config, G list) and i'm really disappointed they have issues with the phone dialer and with switching to certain programs they return to portrait view even if this program is enabled for rotation by above software.
If i can do what i mentioned above it will be great hack that will resolve many problems
where r the developers
DonĀ“t need a developer for that, a simple search might have yielded the results you are looking for....
Get a registry editor, then change HKLM>System>GDI>Rotation>HideOreintaionUI from 1 to 0. Now you can assign the left hardware key long press action (under Settings>Buttons) to rotate your screen.
edit for not completely reading your post.....

even that doesn't prevent the phone from switching to portrait view specially with the phone dialler
As far as I know, Gyrator2 is currently the best option out there. It doesnt work perfectly in the TF3D interface tabs, but everywhere else, it works pretty well.
Hopefully a better solution will come out soon, cause I agree, this thing should work like an iphone in switching between portrait/landscape modes.
honestly, im using g config and g list and dont have any problems out of it...the only thing i dont like about it is that when im making a phone call itll switch to landscape mode when i put it to my ear bc i never hold the phone str8 up and down...how do i disable it from switching from portrait to landscape while n the dialer screens....other than that, no problems this way...please explain ur problem more in depth and hopefully i can help
hopefully someone can help me with my question tho about how to disable g config and g list from swtiching while the phone dialer screens are opened (during a call mainly)...thanks n adavance
by using registry editor delete "Dialog" string from
HKCU-->Software-->HTC-->HTCSENSOR-->GSensor-->WhiteList
the problem that the "dailog" string is responsible for rotation of other programs than the phone dialer for example u will discover that the favorite page of Opera browser will rotate no more after deleting this string.(and many other things that share this string)
there is another idea but i don't know how to do it through the registry?
By changing the horizontal rotation angle threshold to a minimal angle so you have to put your phone nearly horizontal to obtain landscape view.

this would be a great idea and if someone could figure that out and make a cab that would be great...a cab that makes it to where u have to have the phone "horizontal" (or nearly that so theres not as noticable of a lag) would be great because thats the only time i need the landscape is when im holding it horizontally...can someone PLEASE help????
Where are the EXPERTS
Gyrator2 can be configured to not switch while making a phone call. My problem is that I couldn't figure out how to get it not to switch in the lock screen. I'm sure that with enough help from the Gyrator experts I could have completely configured Gyrator to work the way I wanted it. Even if Gyrator had worked the way that I wanted it to, there were still issues with returning to portrait view even if I had the phone in landscape. But I believe that this is a known issue with Gyrator and touchflo 3D. But since I have the Tilt2, the easiest solution for me was mapping the PTT button to rotate my screen. At this point in time I don't think there is a perfect bug free solution and there might not be until HTC decides to implement that functionality.

very easy : run Gyrator menu-->events-->add new event-->choose Orientation-->Edit Event-->(name it as u want)choose Application-->choose >Learn Widow Class-->click on task bar (Modify Event) to get out from Gyrator(but the program still running)-->lock ur screen-->withdraw ur stylus then reinsert it-->the Gyrator come back with ConfettiLockScreen in the application name (u can simply add it as new application for gyrator without doing previous steps.
Don't forget to make Orientation--> Portrait (only)
& Actions-->Rotate screen.
don't forget to promote it to become above rotate line.

WHERE ARE THE GENIUSES
My T5358+ was working fine except for the digitizer. So I order a replacement from China (I'm on Peru, at the other side) but the digitizer was not exactly of the same size.
Device works well but the original digitizer was slightly larger to support the zoom bar (swipe left and right actions). The new one doesn't cover this area.
So when I try to use Windows everything works fine, except I can not touch bottom bar commands because the zoom bar area is apparently "over" the bottom bar. If I use the image viewer I can make zoom dragging over the bottom bar.
If I rotate the screen, the bottom bar works fine because it's moved to another place not below the zoom bar.
So I want to disable the zoom bar to let windows use the entire touch area. I 've spent some hours looking at the registry for some value, but no luck for me.
Thanks for your help.
Omar
Lima - Peru.
I don't think that you can change anything in here.
You should get proper touchscreen.
