I bought a device with CHT ROM in HK (nobody had WWE in stock) and flashed a WWE 6.5 by now. But I would like to download some of the HK specific English ROMs and software (apparently Chinese Simplified and Traditional character entry and display is already included). Thank you!

I did want to try it --- but it after 1 1/2 hours it is still at 1% only and there seems to be no mirror. And I want both, CHT and CHS. At the moment I am using CE Star, which has some problems. Besides, it would be better if I could save some memory

Iv just upgraded the ROM ver. 1.60.00WWE to 1.72.01GER and then I understend that my translator to Russion version wont work with German ver. but i dont no how to change back the operetion or where I can find WWE version PLEASE HELP !!!
You have to look at the O2 or t-mobil-site of GreatBritain for example, where the standard updates will be for free, I guess. That's the way in Germany. t-mobil and O2 both have the update for 1.72-version for everybody for free on their websites.
Or you do the best way and take the translated version of the chinese actual 2.20, which you can find on this website. I use the version 2.20.t1 WWE. It is english and you have the WM 2003 Second Edition with all the good features.

Yes - that's all very well, but what does this mean in English?
there is a long story about this rom.
after few days of the first wwe wm6 release, some really smart chinese already cook it and make it into chinese version(earlier than wm6 cook start here i think)
then they released some pictures and sell the rom.
cause its a big job,and no offical simplified chinese version was released,thousands of people who live in china mainland have to make wwe rom support simplified Chinese or use tranditional chinese version,which make lots of problem,and few people who bought that rom refused to share......

i've flashed this ROM. It is real stock Hong Kong traditional chinese ROM.

Just curious though, since it's based in Traditional Chinese (unless the Chinese interface is kernel based), currently supports both English & Traditional Chinese fonts, so would there be a work around within the registry or something thus to allow the user to switch between English interface & Chinese interface?

there is a modified version on the chinese sites.

If HTC released version 1.93 with Radio 1.00.25.05 for Middle East, where did they release it? When I try to download from HTC Club, the last version listed there is

Screen slidings
Hi Guys.
I am new here, so, sorry in advance for stupid questions.
i have a diamond bought in Russia. I changed the original russian ROM for
RUU_Diamond_HTC_Europe_1.93.401.2. Everything is working perfectly except that in original version i could slide the screens, means they come with a slide movement. Nuw it is just disappearing and anther one appears instead. without the sliding effect

Hi! Yesterday i bought my first HTC Touch Diamond P3700. I have never used any HTC cell phone. My problem. I live in Norway and this phone is in norwegian, but i want it to change to english. If I checked the ROM update, then it gives me only norwegian version. I'm thankful then somebody help me a little.

You have to update the rom to a WWE (world wide english) ROM. But you can change the language of the Manilla.

I read some threads, and the latest WEE official version was corrupt or somthing.
There are some Official Roms you can flash, though, i dont know if they are fast or not. I'm a Raphael user (Touch Pro). but read in the Diamond Rom development for good rooms.

If your are willing to "brake the warrenty" you could allways flash a coustom rom. And flash back to a origianal rom if you are sending it to service for a hw problem.
