I have succesfully updated to 6.5 but cant get the internet to work. I tried to changes setting as listed across the internet. None have worked. Did I miss something when I updated? Do I need to try and up date again? Please any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I think this is what you need.
Most of it should have been setup by the network auto config.
I had issue because it had not setup my proxy so that was the only part I needed.
Look for thread 362586 for the settings. Sorry it will not let me post the link.

I've searched Google and this forum so apologies if this has been answered, but I have a strange problem.
I presently have 25 out of the available 30 slots on my start menu (Touchflo) occupied. However, when I try to add programs to any of the last free 5 slots, I can select from the programs list, but when it goes back to the Touchflo start menu, the newly added program isn't there and I still have 5 free slots.
No matter which programs I try to add, or how many times I reboot, it doesn't work.
Interestingly, if I delete any of the previous 25 and try to add to one of those free slots, it works fine.
I have no idea why this is happening or how to fix it, and I'm hoping someone can give me some advice please.

Are you using a cooked ROM? I recall having this problem when I tried out the Energy Genesis ROM. According to users from that thread, it was a known bug.
I fixed the problem experienced with the Genesis ROM by installing this cab http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4096922&postcount=1 it might help. You could check the slots are not set to readonly as well (see reg keys in linked post)

No, standard ROM I'm afraid, but thanks for the suggestion.

The Sprint ROM doesn't seem to allow you to add icons the homescreen at all; the ones that are there at default are the only ones you can add. You can take a few away, but that's the only amount of customization available.
sorry to be a pain in the backside fellas but i cant get my internet working on the latest release of android for my rhodium..i see the 3g symbol but don't see no activity on it....on the last release i had to find some generic APN settings on one of the threads and used those but i can't locate the thread again.....i reside in Ghana and Use MTN network........HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP........yes i knw am a dunce.....but that is only to make you look smart.....lol...thanks for the help in advancehttp://media.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Well, did you try adding the APN manually...?
I don't have the manual settings......i remember getting a generic one sometime ago on a thread somewhere over here..........it worked fine but i cant seem to find those settings again...

They should be in there, but perhaps not for your provider.
Did you just try the generic one...? Android for the APN name and internet for the APN. That's all I need to get on Sprint...

i have on my HTC Desire the Problem that if i am longer logged in a WLAN network, the automatically switch from Wlan into the 3G network is not working when i leave the WLAN.
I have to connect into the "Flightmode" and back that the Desire switch to 3G.
My Desire is rootet and i have this problem with all ROMs i testet (Redux, GingerVillain, LeeDroid, MIUI).
Does anyone have a solution for me?

i had a similar problem on stock 2.1...my problem was my APN settings (i had a proxy listed and once i removed it, my problem was solved)

Also i reseted my APN Settings to default - it seems that this is not the problem?!
see if you can find the APN settings for your specific carrier on the internet to check they are correct...other than that, i have no idea, sorry

Hi, I'm with GiffGaff and can't download mms pics, I can read the messges but cant download the pics no matter what APN settings I try. The phone was originaly locked to t-mobile. I cant send mms messges either. Any suggestions please as I need the mms facility as part of my work.

My WIFI encounter problem always auto on and off when activated the WIFI . Try many option but did not help. The last option i wanted to try is replace the WIFI software file at root, try to search at the website can't find any. Anyone of you can point me where can i find the software will be much great. Currently i already upgrade to version 4.2.2 . Many Thanks in advance for your help.

If you are on stock firmware that is not the problem it's a setting actually go to WiFi setting by long touching WiFi icon in quick access notification panel go to settings and there option called I don't remember exactly but it's low signal something will be ticked just untick it and it will be fine... If possible kindly upload screen shot of WiFi settings panel.. ?
