May I ask if it is possible for one of you to enable or port Topaz start menu to replace buggy, laggy Winmo 6.5 Start menu so we can have a costumizable nice scrolling start menu?

Hi guys, i have a HTC TOUCH. what i want to do is for the start menu to have its own image like the htc diamond, i dont want it to be a transparent start menu that shows the today background. i just want to know if its possible for the today background and start menu background to be different. thanks.

try with... tf3d configuration, and vanilla tf3d detoucher, this two tweaks fix everithing on Touch Flo 3d and manage like you want............................
Hi does anyone know how to re-enable the touchflo 3d programs menu when the start button is pushed in 6.5 - like the way the default vodafone rom behaves?
I'm not really a fan of the default 6.5 start menu which tho interesting isn't as functional for me as the TF3D programs menu.

I am running wizbar v3 which changes my Start Menu which I like, but I'd like to be able to keep a way to access the default Start Menu that includes app shortcuts (without restoring the Programs tab on the touchFlo interface). What I want to do is create a soft key on the homescreen labeled "Programs" that points to the TF3D start menu so I can have it available while running wisbar. Anyone know how this can be done?
I think I understand what you are trying to do but Wisbar is a today screen plugin that replaces TouchFLO 3D. Without TouchFLO 3D running, you will not be able to access it's program menu interface. I think Wisbar has an icon based start menu, could you use that instead?

I'm not sure about that though, my touchFlo is definitely running while I run wisbar..I can go through the tans and all the touchFlo features are fully functioning as wisbar is running. Wisbar's start menu is like a list view instead of the larger icons that touchFlo displays for its design of the Start menu.
Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding. There are several different versions of Wisbar. I thought you were talking about Wisbar Advance Desktop which will replace the TouchFLO 3D. Wisbar Advance is just a start menu replacement and I think that is the one you are using. I don't know if there is a setting to allow you to see the original icon based start menu in Wisbar. You may have to edit the registry to change the soft key or modify one of the xml files for TouchFLO 3D. I have used a different program called Quick Menu that replaces the start menu with one like in Wisbar. It has an option that you can set that will open the original start menu with a long press on the start button. You may want to try Quick Menu, it is a free application and does what you want.

Not real sure what wisbar does, but this cab will put the manila start menu as just another tab on your slider and gives the original start menu back. If wisbar is just another start menu replacement, then that would still work. credit cookiemonster

Right I'm using the Wisbar Advance 3 so my Desktop is the default design. I've used QuickMenu before it's pretty neat, didn't know it had that function with it. In general though I think it would be great to have a way to change each of the softkeys for this new TouchFlo since they change depending on which tab is selected. Hopefully someone is working on this...
For those of us who appreciate the pocket pc over the iphone wanabees, are there any code writers interested interested in writing an app replicating the drop down menu as was traditional with the true wm platform.Blackberry themes are doing it but we are throwing away this legendary interface.

i am desperately looking for a cab that allows me to do the following:
in windows mobile 6.1, when pressing the start button, it brings up the old ugly start menu. however, dutty cooked a rom where pressing the start buttion gave u a programm list, like the one in manila 2.1.
the orginial manila programs tab has, so it seems, been taken out of the manila and glued at the start menu button.
anybody know if this can be done using a cab or somethink?
