is busybox installed??
When I launch linux through complete linux everything is good until I attempt to make new UNIX password.
I'm not able to type in the emulator program that's on Complete Linux.
The emulator I have on Rom Toolbox works and the emulator from app store works.
I watched tutorial on how to install backtrack....
There is only bt5 videos.
This is as far as I get...
I type su
cd /sdcard/download/backstrap
I have no idea where to go from there
I'm on rooted t-mobile gs3 CyanogenMod 10.0.0
Does anyone know how to fix this stuttering the OUYA does when playing video stream?
I have the latest firmware and "XBMC for OUYA" but video streams are still doing this for a while when starting to play and then randomly during the movie. Thanks for any reply.
The problem is not with xbmc but a firmware bug made in the 24th July update.
There is no fix unless you are rooted.
It has been raised with the ouya team but it doesn't seem a priority to them.
If rooted how i can fix that problem?

Please post results if it works for you.
Thanks guys! This appears to have worked. And if it did it appears to have worked like a charm.
Here's what I did:
I've been using apk extractor to install apks on to my rooted ouya.
I used a APK extractor to extract Android terminal emulator and put it on my network share with my phone.
Then using es file explorer on my new ouya grabbed the Android terminal emulator apk off my network share and installed it.
I open the emulator on my ouya and gave superuser access then type "su" and enter key.
Then the command:
echo 32768 > /proc/sys/vm/min_free_kbytes
I have been using the YouTube plugin on XBMC with the highest video quality setting to test.
Thanks again for the reply and I hope this help somebody out.

thanks for the instructions made it very easy to do. I can finally watch video addons from xbmc and transfer files through ftp without the ouya locking up.
I can't seem to get this done. I tried using Android Terminal Emulator on OUYA but I can't type anything. I also use a command window and use adb to sideload apps. Can I use this method to enter this command into OUYA? I tried but it says The system cannot find the path specified. How do I do this?
sorry for the late reply but for anyone else coming across this thread

you type the command into terminal emulator that is running on your ouya
I keep a plain USB cord keyboard handy, i turn off the ouya, then unplug it from the back, plug in the keyboard, then fire everything back up.
when it's back on launch terminal emulator or install if you haven't and you should be able to use the keyboard you have plugged in to type the command into terminal emulator.
Does this still work?
