Hi i´m looking forward to buy the Touch Pro 2 instead of the diamond 2, but the camera has almost 2 MPX less, is there any way to increase the resolution or something to make the photos look better? maybe with the Diamond 2 camera driver??

It's a HW limitation.. you can only upscale using SW interpolation = worthless..

1- I would suggest four things for the speed:
-- install another version of Froyo
-- install Gingerbread
-- overclock Android with a new code line in the startup file (read the FAQ, used 748800 on mine)
-- try with another SD card
2- If you have a TouchPro2, chances are that you'll look for a TP2 file... You should by able the find your phone number under the battery, on the phone itself. Mine is RHOD500 -->Rhodium/TouchPro2 500

2.It has 1gb ram or 512mb ram ??
3.The Screen is 256k or 16k colors ??

Hi, i think that you should buy it, the baterry is 3000 mah, with the new ICS seems that the baterry life has improved, it has 1gb ram, gorilla glass, the screen has suficient number of colors.
PS: vezi ca la Altex au Acer a100 pe culoare rosie, e mai frumoasa, la 1300 de lei. Bateria pare a fi mai ok acum dupa update, ecranul are o mica problema cu unghiul de vizualizare, dar per total e OK. Merge ICS perfect pe ea, asa ca, in afara de Asus prime, nu stiu ce mai poti lua cu android 4.0

The screen is 256m as far as I know, not an IPS, but only the TF101 and the prime carry them I think.

The UMI IRON PRO is the successor to the UMI IRON.
The design seems to be nearly the same. But the PRO has USB TYPE C and also a fingerprint scanner on the rearside. And it will of course still have the Skyline notification LED on the front.
I have used the UMI IRON PRO nearly 2 weeks now as my daily driver and this is my full in-depth review of the UMI IRON PRO with Touch Fingerprint ID, Skyline LED notification and USB Type-C. After the test, I'm personally now a fan of the UMI IRON PRO, the design is nice, quality is high, the fingerprint scanner is super and overall the phone works very good as daily driver!

Turn off the on screen buttons?
With firmware 3.02 it is now possible to disable the on screen buttons, and use hardware touch buttons in the lower part below the screen. Find firmware 3.02 via Rootjoy or on Needrom - the version on Needrom must be flashed with SP Flash Tool.

The price should be close to the normal UMI IRON, so let's see.

Dont buy UM IRON
Hey guys.
I have an UMI IRON for some months now. The phone is not the badest....
But more bad than good.
Audio Quality is the badest i have ever heard, Off-Screen gestures and HOTKNOT were promised -
Started From Rom 1.4 till now 1.7 ------ BUT still NOTHING of These Things!
UMI dont make good, stable roms for the IRON.
They promised Miui - but they gave us MyUi (Fake miui-like launcher=crap)
Other roms are also not stable working or just launchers.
The original flip-cover for the IRON dont work. UMI had manufactured it false!!! The Screen Wake Up- Function does not exist, because UMI has put a too weak magnet in it. And on the questions to UMI what they will do with the selled covers - NOTHING, NO answers.
They have known that the covers dont work, but still have selled it. UMI is a LIAR-COMPANY, believe me....
Dont buy the UMI IRON PRO - you will not have a good time with it.

Regarding the topic, sound quality.......
What do you actually mean with that? I'm not sure what audio problems you talk about. I have used the IRON PRO now for some days as daily driver and the sound is fine.
Do you mean the audio out of the 3.5mm headphone jack or the builtin speaker or the earspeaker?
The sound from the ear speaker is fine, could be a little bit louder. But I understand people just fine.
The sound from the built-in speaker is average, not super but also not bad. But I would say a bit better than the average budget china phone, I have heard a lot worse on some Elephone models.
The sound via headphones is very good. And with the ViPER4Android app (pre installed in the firmware) you can tweak the sound just as you like it. I can enable heavy deeeep nice bass or make the sound clear and louder if I want - or use the equalizer to make the voice better. Quality is much better than on other budget china phones I have tried, using Xiaomi Piston 3 earphones. It still have the "clicking bug", when you click on a button it will say a click noise, it's a little bit annoying - but it is only when you actually click on something. While I listen to music the sound is perfect and very good, and everyone with the device will be able to confirm this!

Ti rispondo in italiano, funziona con tutti gli operatori, manca solo della banda 20 a 800Mhz sul 4G che usa soprattutto Wind e un alcune zone Vodafone e Tim.
It works in Italy, only lack of lte band 20 800Mhz, that is used by wind operator and in some areas of Italy also Tim and Vodafone

ho avuto il primo Iron e Iron Pro ha le stesse bande supportate.
nessun problema con operatore H3G , problemi di 4G con Wind (sicuramente non andrà in 4G nella maggior parte del territorio italiano) e sporadici all'interno di abitazioni con Tim e Vodafone
