Hi Guys,
*
I am after a bit advice on what is the best video software for the touch hd. I have tried core player and couldn't get it to work. Divx player is terrible and WMP is even worse. I am mainly trying to play divx vids but a universal player would be nice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know i have an 8125, but you all seem alot more technical than the Wizard guys. (No offense to those who are reading this, that was aimed at the guys who dont read the rest of the forum). Im having an issue with my current recipe. I can get the camera to encode the video to mp4 but cannot get Media player to play the video. I get all audio but no video. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi there
I have been trying for a while to view streaming youtube streaming vids on my unlocked spv-m700 without success.
I have downloaded the HTC steaming player and added the missing dll's from the available pack but when I try and stream a mobile YT video it buffers to arround 99% then the player shuts down.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

n/o, but don't exagerate with the topic title
on:
use mp4hd in combination with windows mediaplayer --> hardware acceleration
In core player, go to 'Options' and then 'Video'. You can try different video settings in there, which make a big difference. I have mine on GDI, and I also set quality to low, as it doesn't really make much difference on a 3.8" screen.
The only thing I find core player useless at is playing wmv files. I use it for everything else.
Hope this helps.
John.
Sorry - yeah, for MKV files, you'll need to convert. Try mkv2vob. I use it to convert mkv files to mpeg files for my PS3. It's FAAAAAAST as ewt!
Hi everyone
I've installed tcpmp 0.72rc1 on my htc blackstone and also the tcpmpflvplugin-v0.4.3 and still the flv files i've gotten from youtube don't play. All i have is a black screen. Does anyone have a solution to this please or maybe a better player for flv videos? Cheers
Use www.keepvid.com and save the youtube video as "mp4".
Guys, sorry I am newbie with my HOAX,
First, just sharing mine is SH23LW, is it the best or less issue? so far i can't find the problem (or maybe i miss something)
second, my original video player can't play HD res., especially when i play my video file which is downloaded from youtube.. Thanks for the answer
No idea if your version is going to be immune from the gamut of issues people have reported. Guess time will tell.
Regarding your video playback issue though, try out MX Player. Has been able to able to play anything I've chucked at it so far!

Agreed. MX Player is decent.
