i try to install some application on my o2 orbit . but it givess me that fatel error " couldn't initialize Audio Device Error" . . ineed help hwo to solve this issue.
1 thing more. i installed same softwares ( these are related to sound speaking applications ) on my defult o2 rom and also on tmobile compect 2 defult rom . there is no issue with them . but when i installed any other rom from Xda-develpoers , this massage come again . and that software stop working . and its come in start before opening the application.

i got a qtek 1010 with mobinil (egypt) (locked to the provided i guess :roll: ) ... i tried upgrading it to 2003SE through activsync installer .... but i failled , every time the upgrade slide starts, it simply soft resets and the originial rom (2002) is back ... ? ... i did the same procedure (with the same rom.exe and the same cradle) but on another device (XDA O2) and it worked very smoothely , so i guess the problem is in the qtek hardware itself or it s a sort of security protection from Mobinil .. ???????? :?: :?: :?:
any help would be greatly appreciated

i forgot to mention the error message that appear right after the soft reset occurs :
error 008pen port error
can not open a COM/USB port. please use deevice manager on pc to make sure that the COM/USB port is available and working properly

Hi , is me again . I dun know why this few days im facing Activesync problem to connect my HTC P3600i with my notebook and pc as well .
Keeps on showing this code in my HTC
"activesync: support code: 0x85010014"
Mind to tell me how to solve this problem in my PDA ? Ive try to sync with 1 notebook and 2 PC , but still cant figure out wat really happen with my PDA .
Anyone here can guide me step by step to solve the problem ?

I'm having the same issue with my Exchange 2003 SP2 server.
It usually comes up and it's very annoying.
If anyone has a newer Activesync package or a fix for that...

But im still cant figure out how to do it . Caus eim using HTC P3600i , with my notebook Windows Vista .
So wat i do yesterday is i master reset my P3600i into factory default . Then i found that i can do the sync with my notebook . But after i do a restore form Sprite backup , the problem came back again .
I dun know whether the problem is in my P3600i or my notebook . Or izzit some third party software cause my P3600i like this ? I cant remember wat third party software i install and after tat cause this problem .
If im not mistaken , i dun know whether is PhotoContact Pro or not . Cause after i install this , the problems occur . I also install 3G Kaiser dialpad ... and a few software . I dun know which one cause it or really is the problem of Microsft Outlook in my notebook .

hey guyz i am using ((Jwrightmcps Crossbow ROM Update 2.12.08 WWE)) and itz working fine . i just want to upgrade network wizard bcuz my network provider setings r old in that rom version and i have downloaded ((htc connection setup version 1.0 build 31758 )) and i just want to know how can i install this new network wizard in my universal . cuz wen i tried to update it itz giving me an error -- my universal is giving error that no data base wen ever i restart it and the old version network wizard is not working its saying no database -- wat to do please help . i want to delete previous version and want to install new 1 .. sry if m sounding dumb .. bbie tc plz rep ..

i have upgraded my rom to the latest Kavana 6.1 , but when i type a message or a note i get numbers when i press the number keys , not the letters , i.e when i press W , i get 1 e.t.c , i tried the tegic cab file , and several reboots , but to no avail ! I think i have just missed something small , but am going round in circles here , can anybody help , please , thanks .
